  • Amazing view

"The property had an amazing view. Morning cup of coffee in the balcony was heavenly. It was contemporary and the ampliances were modern. The property has three pools and all were at easy access. It is a gated community with security around the clock. Only suggestion is if you have any questions or are planning any excursions, reach out to Hansel for guidance. My rating is 4 as I wished it was closer to the beach. Other than that it was home away from home."

  • Vacation Stay

"My family especially enjoyed the gas barbecue and back patio. It would have been great to have a coffee table in the living area. Quiet and safe. Needs a dish drainer for the sink. Easy access to beach areas."

  • Great experience with priceless memories

"We booked this home from 11/16-12/3/14. My family moved from Puerto Rico where I was born when I was 1 year old. I came back with my adult children, my mother, sister and brother in law to celebrate my 50th birthday and Thanksgiving. This home is perfectly located near beautiful beaches, great restaurants and within 30 minutes from some of Puerto Rico's most beautiful sites. We took a small plane to Culebra, rode a motor boat through the Bio Bay, went on a walking tour of San Juan, toured Catano where I was born, went to the Bacardi factory, went to several nearby restaurants and beaches all of which added up to an unforgettable vacation. This home is beautiful and spacious. We were able to rest in between all activities and enjoy our down time as well. The pool was always clean. Although we were provided telephone #'s for anyone we may need in case anything went wrong (including the wi-fi) , we never needed it. We will definitely be back! Thank you Yvonne!"

  • Family Vacation

"We vacationed with our almost 2 year old and toddlers are never easy haha but this vacation was a dream! This condo has an amazing view, includes everything you need (fully equipped kitchen, beach chairs etc) and was impeccably clean. The location is perfect and not only on an ocean front beach but it's along numerous gorgeous beaches. Each one unique. Go explore! We sure did and loved every minute of it. Our son did too! Also very near Old San Juan and El Morro. Such a lovely historic area. Don't forget to go to El Yunque Rainforest! It wasn't a long drive. And was an breathtaking experience. Wonderful restaurants are in walking distance and even a Walgreens if you forgot to bring something and need it. Also there is a neighbor in condo next door named Tony and he is the sweetest elderly man! So kind! So helpful. Now last but not least, the owners of this condo are truly caring people. Very empathetic and not in it just for the money. I find those characteristics to be very important, especially when traveling far away from home. We thank them for providing a safe lovely place to reside during our vacation in San Juan! Such great memories were made. Gracias por todo!"

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
