  • Beautiful 3 Bedroom condo in Fajardo

"We stayed here for a few days in July. The condo is clean, spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with the ocean breezes. There is a nice pool and a beach is only five minutes away. We would stay here again."

  • Perfect Location in San Juan

"My wife and I recently spent 11 nights in Noelle's condo. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Condado area close to the beach. The apartment is just as advertised. It is a cozy studio condo with a Murphy bed that is very comfortable. We left the Murphy bed open and didn't close it the entire stay. This is a studio unit and is really adequate for 2 adults. This unit is small and not conducive to accommodating more than 2 people. There is a great view of the beach area which is very close and within 5 minutes walking distance. We were able to watch the New Years fireworks from the balcony of the building. The kitchen has all of the necessary items to prepare meals in if you so desire. We prepared our breakfasts in the kitchen but otherwise ate our. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. The biggest plus for us was having the including secure parking space, as the Condado area is quite congested at times with traffic and minimal parking available. If you are going to travel outside of the Condado area a car is an absolute necessity, as public transportation is limited around the island. We did travel throughout Puerto Rico as my wife has family in several different areas of the Island. Using our Garmen GPS unit properly navigated us to everywhere we needed to go, including some remote areas of the central mountain regions. If you are staying within the Condado and Old San Juan areas then a car is not necessary. Noelle was great the reservation process and checking into and out of the apartment was exceptionally easy. We did not use the pool area so I cannot comment on that. The entertainment area includes a flat screen tv with cable and a DVD player with an abundant supply of DVD's to watch. The WiFi access was easy and worked at all times. There was no difficulty at all with the WiFi. The building itself is secure with 24 hour security on site, and requires a key fob for access. The elevators functioned at all times and there was never an excessive wait for the elevator. All in all we had a great stay, and would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit to Puerto Rico. I can recommend this rental unit for anyone visiting Puerto Rico. Thank you Noelle for a great vacation rental."

  • Needs TLC

"We are a group of 21 and rented 3 houses. Frankie was great giving us instructions on how to get there and receiving us. We live here in the Island, and being unable to swim at the beach was a downside. Thank God we had a house with a pool, otherwise, it would have not been fun at all specially for the kids. The house was clean and very cute and cozy. The air conditioning unit was not working properly so I couldn't sleep. The rooms have glass windows with no shades, so all the light from outside came through and it was driving me nuts since I need to sleep in the dark. The bed at the master bedroom is way to small, it's more a full size bed than a queen, and hard as concrete so my husband and I were banging each other and I had to go to another bed room which had a foam kind of mattress so I don't know what was worse. My body is still in pain. The fridge was not working properly and our food had to be taken to one of the other houses and have only fruits and water in that fridge. The verandah couldn't be used at all because it had an awful smell. Cats from all around come and urinate the cushions, so the smell was unbearable. This was very disgusting for me since I am very allergic and sensitive to yucky smells. The house has breathtaking views, is very comfortable and good for relaxing. Don't get me wrong, I will rent it again, only if both houses are available, and if the house has all the downsides fixed, otherwise, never again."

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.
