  • Fabulous!

"My husband, mother & I spent 4 nights here and I wish it were a couple of weeks! The place is very nice and so relaxing. We snorkeled right out back and saw two lion fish, a baby manatee and lots of other fish! We would not hesitate to rent again from Teresa. Very good experience. Thank you so much Teresa!"

  • Peaceful location & Great view!

"My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2014. The view is spectacular! The bedroom is air conditioned and we slept very well in there. We enjoyed waking up every morning to enjoy some coffee on the balcony. Great location. El Yunque isn't far away either!"

  • Fantastic location!

"Such a great location! Four minutes walking from a beautiful beach, in a cute sea side town. You can see the beach from the balcony. Rent a car, and you are close (20 to 30 minutes) to the Biobay in Fajardo, the Marina Del Rey where you can take a boat to the most beautiful islands with clear water and incredible tropical fish, and within 45 minutes from San Juan. El Yunque rainforest is also very close. The apartment is very nice, has a washer/dryer which came in handy. Carmen was very nice and gave recommendations for activities when asked. Loved it!!!"

  • Ready to go back

"My husband and I celebrated our 50th anniversary with a family trip to Puerto Rico. This lovely home was perfect for our family vacation. It was in the perfect location, very clean and provided with everything we needed for our large family of 14. We were 7 adults and 7 children (ages 5 to 72 ) It's location on a beautiful Beach very close to town but far enough away that you get that sense of being away from it all. The beach is something off a postcard - palm trees, sunsets, etc.... and you usually have it all to yourself! We spent part of each day swimming, body surfing and snorkeling. The house is bigger than we expected. Each bedroom is a decent size as are both bathrooms, but it is the yard and patio areas that provided more than enough seating for all. We cooked or BBQed every day and all you will need is right there for you. The fenced in yard is perfect for small children and you could walk out of the yard and onto the beach. There is and outside bathroom and shower perfect for cleaning up after a swim. We loved the house! The owner Nanda is friendly and helpful, and she made the rental process convenient and efficient. Her repersentative Yevette in Aguada was available at any time to answer questions and welcome us. The resident cat, Nickolai is no trouble and he watches over the property and you are his welcome guests. You are in luck if stay in this appealing and restful home"

Puerto Rico Travel Tips

Visitors to Puerto Rico Vacation Rentals

Puerto Rico is a vibrant Caribbean island travel destination. It is a place where you can enjoy beautiful beaches, fine dining, a wide variety of water sports and a number of nature attractions. People who generally travel to Puerto Rico are attracted by the persistent sunshine and tropical island paradise. Depending on if you enjoy the vibrant resort-style vacation or something more remote and quiet, you can choose which part of the island you want to stay on. Relax on the beaches during the day and then hit the nightspots for some dancing in the evenings.

Best Time of Year to Visit Puerto Rico Villas

The most popular travel season to Puerto Rico is between December and April. During this time, visitors can expect hot sunny days with very little rainfall. In general, this is considered to be the dry season, although occasional rain showers do still occur. Another reason that this is a popular time of year to visit is that the humidity levels are lower. The warm weather also attracts many visitors from New York City, Boston and Chicago who want to escape the winter freeze. In general, there is little seasonal variation in the temperature in Puerto Rico. The seasons are more often defined by the humidity and rainfall. From May through October, the amount of rainfall increases, making the air muggy and sticky. This makes it feel as though it is much hotter. From July to October, tropical storms sometimes hit the islands, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds. This is typically the low tourist season in Puerto Rico.

Getting to Puerto Rico Resort Rentals

The main airport on Puerto Rico is located just nine miles from San Juan. The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport hosts frequent international flights from North America, Europe, South America and neighboring Caribbean destinations. As a U.S. foreign territory, flights from America are viewed as regional rather than international flights. San Juan is a major travel hub in the Caribbean for travelers from the United States. There are regular commercial flights from most major cities, including Miami, New York City, Atlanta and Houston. If you cannot find a direct flight connection from your hometown, you may consider finding flights that route via one of these main travel hubs. In total, there are 29 airports in Puerto Rico, most of them hosting regional and domestic flights. Getting around the island is fairly easy. There is a metro rail system that serves the greater San Juan Metropolitan area. It is also relatively easy to hire a car to explore the island. Be aware that traffic can get pretty congested in urban areas.

Caribbean Vacation Rentals in Puerto Rico

If you have a large group of friends traveling together or are planning a wedding, you can secure a villa that is spacious enough to accommodate everyone. You can wake up each morning in the privacy of your own home and enjoy breakfast out on the deck.
