  • Close To Perfect For Us!

"My wife and I just returned from our one week stay at this property and I must say we were pleasantly surprised with the entire arrangement. We were looking for an affordable alternative to the high priced water front hotels in the area and this property met or exceeded our expectations on most every level. The property is very fairly represented by the pictures listed on this website and the proximity to the beach was as advertised. With two separate patio areas, there was always a place to sit that was comfortable with great views of the water. Having access to luxuries such as a washer and dryer and a very nice Weber gas grill just made everything better. We didn't have to pack as many clothes and we ate great local seafood almost every night on the grill which made the property even more budget friendly. The beach is protected by an offshore reef which kept the waves from being overwhelming and there is plenty of sand and shade to protect you from too much sun exposure. Of the 60 or so parking places in our area of the property, only three or four were being used and we had the beach almost to ourselves. The trade winds provide a comfortable climate which makes the 85 degree temps seem closer to 75. As others have mentioned, the security folks are ever present and very courteous. You cannot miss with this property."

  • Great location

"My wife and 2 kids (ages 6/8) stayed here for a week in February. The condo unit itself is very nice, clean, and well kept. It has a master bedroom with its own bathroom. The kid’s room has two bunk beds. There is a kitchen, eating area, a small living room, and a balcony looking over the grounds and pool. The living room has a TV and the master bedroom has a TV. Each bedroom has an in-wall A/C unit, which we did not use at all. A washer and dryer are also in the unit. The kitchen is fully equipped. It was terrific to wake up to the sounds of the birds and the treefrogs. The grounds are well kept. It has gated access and has a security guard who is either at the gate or roaming the grounds. The guards were very helpful and very nice. In the middle of the complex is a beautiful large pool alongside a two foot kiddie pool. My kids loved going between the two pools. This unit is a corner unit, 2nd floor. It is a mere 30 steps from the pool and pool house. The gate to the beach is at the opposite end of the complex and is about a 1 or 2 minute walk (kid’s pace). The beach is spectacular. You have no reason to go to any other beach on the island unless you want to kayak or something like that. You pretty much have the whole beach to yourself, palm trees and all. Warm water, soft sand, great walks on the bay. A couple of the days had big waves which were excellent for boogie boarding (2 boards in the condo). In February, the condos are very quiet and you get the feeling you have the entire place to yourself. Carabali Rainforest Park. A 10 min drive away has horseback riding, ATV tours, and go-kart track. We did the 2 hour horseback riding tour. The kids loved it and he horses are super easy to ride. El Yunque Rainforest. A 15 min drive to the entrance. A great day trip. Check out the visitor center, the tower, and the waterfalls. Bring a lunch in a cooler (in condo) and eat at the second picnic area. The picnic area has huts all over the trail, each with its own picnic table. Bring a swimsuit, hike to La Mina falls and swim in the waterfall! The hike is about 30 minutes to the falls. Grocery store: about 5 minutes away on route 3 West is a full-size grocery store. Dining: go to the Luquillo food kiosks for lunch or dinner. About 5 minutes on route 3 East. It looks like a long grungy strip mall from the road. Upon closer inspection you’ll find some of the best food and drink. Our favorite was Beach BBQ #25."

  • Beautiful!

"The condo was exactly as advertised and pictured. We were there for a five night stay and spent a lot of our time just sitting on the balcony looking at the beautiful view and people watching. Bring binoculars - we wished we had! The beach has a lot to offer - parasailing, jet ski rentals, beach bar/restaurants just a short walk away. Restaurants and a few gift shops are available on the street side as well. We took the bus, taxis, and tours when we wanted to explore other areas. Everyone we encountered in Puerto Rico was helpful, friendly, and truly seemed to enjoy their jobs. Sonia was great - answered any questions we had before arriving and checked in to make sure that our check in and out went smoothly. Security deposit was returned before we even got all the way home. We did not cook at the condo - we did buy some bread for toast in the morning (no bagels at Walgreens) and would have liked a full-size coffee maker rather than the 4-cupper provided, but we managed fine anyway. There were some supplies/food left by previous tenants which was helpful when we ran out of coffee on the last day, but be sure to check expiration dates/quality first. We were hoping to use the pina colada mix left unopened in the refrigerator, but found it was too old and had separated beyond fixing. There is a pizza place across the street which we used one night that was really good and a couple of DVD's in the condo that we hadn't seen before which was nice after a tiring day touring. Although we probably won't be back - we have other places we want to explore, this condo experience will be the one we rate all others against!"

  • Great place.

"Great place to stay. 5 minute walk to the beach. Living among the locals, not a resort. The apartment was even prettier in person. Would recommend getting a rental car while there to explore the island."
