  • Amazing stay!

"We really enjoyed our stay at Las Frutas. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and even called to check in during our stay. The house was perfect - tons of room and very charming. The roof deck and pool are added bonuses that made the stay even more incredible. We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to our next trip to Vieques!"

  • Another wonderful stay

"This was our second stay at Magnolia House and it was once again fantastic! I am hesitant to let the secret out of the bag :) Magnolia House is walking distance to the Malecon where you can stroll, eat, drink and people watch! The house is incredibly comfortable with everything you need. We especially enjoyed sitting outside to read in the afternoon. This year we discovered the joys of snorkeling and there were splendid sights rights off the pier in Esperenza. You can spend your time here without a car easily or rent a car or scooter for easy outings to the beautiful beaches on the island. A special thanks, once again, to Joe and Mimi for making the trip extra special with their information and tips. Coqui Grill in Isabel II is fantastic and Tin Box has delicious oysters, fresh salads, and a great happy hour."

  • Serene Getaway

"We would highly recommend the Casa de Amigos for your trip to Vieques Island and happen to think that Vieques is the best kept secret south of PR. The island is relatively quiet outside the calm bustle of Esperanza and Isabel and this island has some of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. Take a full day to beach hop and save an evening for a BioBay Tour (book ahead of time as they fill up fast). John and Marilyn are amazing hosts and are knowledgable about the "must sees" on the Island. Casa de Amigos is perfectly situated in the quiet country side but is only a mile and a half from the wonderful food and night life of Esperanza."

  • Relaxing, Peaceful and Private!

"Our stay at Las Terrazas was wonderful. The house was nicely decorated, very spacious, extremely clean, and well maintained. The air conditioning worked great in the bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and we especially enjoyed the ice machine! Very nice beach chairs, coolers and beach towels were provided. Privacy is always important to us…and both the home and the pool area were very private. The gated driveway, gardens and entry courtyard were great! The house was conveniently located, with a just quick drive to the beaches, restaurants, and grocery store. We absolutely loved the quiet, less crowded beaches. One afternoon, we had an entire beach to ourselves for at least two hours. Lyle, the owner, was very kind, accommodating and quick to reply to all of my emails. Karen, the property manager, was very helpful and met us at Maritza's Car Rental. She responded to all my text messages quickly and was always pleasant and eager to assist us. Our trip to Vieques was peaceful, relaxing and everything went smoothly, just as planned…except purchasing tickets for the ferry. If you are seeking relaxation, definitely avoid the ferry lines and chaos at the ferry terminal. We would highly recommend Las Terrazas if you are planning a trip to Vieques."

Barrio Florida Hill Travel Tips

Barrio Florida Hill Vacation Rentals: The Perfect Island Getaway

Many people dream of escaping the humdrum daily routine with a trip to a tropical island. By taking advantage of one of the Barrio Florida Hill vacation rentals, you can do just that. Located on the beautiful Viequest Island in Puerto Rico, you can choose between privately owned Barrio Florida Hill vacation rentals and villas or cottages available at Vieques Island resorts.

The Barrio Florida Hill vacation rentals really do offer the perfect getaway because they are often more affordable than hotel rooms. With weekly and even monthly rates that beat out hotel prices as well as facilities such as kitchens and laundry rooms that help to reduce the overall cost of the vacation, these rentals can be perfect for anyone, even those with a limited travel budget.

A Historical Treasure

In addition to having gorgeous beaches and lovely accommodations, Vieques Island also has a long and interesting history. It is believed that ancient Native American peoples first inhabited the island. It also has a long colonial history.

Whether you are a history buff, just a lover of sand and sun, or a combination of the two, staying at one of the Barrio Florida Hill vacation rentals is sure to be a wonderful experience. As part of your Barrio Florida Hill travel plans, you can also visit other parts of the island and enjoy all that it has to offer.

Budget or Luxury: You Decide

While it may sound decadent to lodge in one of the Barrio Florida Hill vacation rentals, it can actually be quite economical. Even though you'll have more space and amenities than you would in a hotel, it's likely that the cost per night will be on par with or less expensive than a hotel, even if you stay in a rented cottage or villa in one of the Vieques Island resorts in Barrio Florida Hill. This is especially true if you are traveling with a family or group of friends.
