"My family is from Puerto Rico so I have been to the mainland many times but have never to Vieques. After my cousin & several friends recommended it, my husband and I decided to go with our 3 sons (16,14 & 7), we were not disappointed! The beaches were fantastic and the Reefhouse was perfect for our family. The view from this ocean view house was great....and the patio is the best part of the house. The house has everything you need to go beach hoping...beach towels, chairs, snorkels & masks, fins, a life vest, used by our youngest, a styrofoam cooler, & a cooler for liquids. Everyday we packed the cooler with lunch and drinks and headed to a different beach. Josh & Jacqueline were very responsive when I emailed them and couldn't be nicer, as was Kikito. We went horseback riding and did the Bioluminescence Bay on our last night - a MUST when in Vieques. Thank you Josh & Jacqueline!"

"My husband and I spent our honeymoon at Casa del Marullo (House of Waves) from June 12th-19th, 2015. We had a wonderful time at the house and on the island of Vieques. The house is very secure, comfortable, clean and in a great location. The security system in the house makes you feel very safe. You feel very secluded and have your own stretch of beach all to yourself. Sitting on the outdoor patio and hearing the waves is so peaceful and relaxing. We had our morning coffee on the patio and cocktail in the evenings. The island is so beautiful with pristine beaches, unspoiled by development. I loved the horses running around loose all over the island from the roads in town to hills and beaches all around the island.
During our week on the island we went sailing, snorkeling, fishing, beach hopping, shopping and eating out. We also cooked a lot at the house and they had everything we needed and more. In fact everything was provided, from shampoo, soap, lotions, etc., to spices and all things needed in the kitchen. The house also had beach items and snorkeling equipment so we didn’t have to rent those items. The owner of the house, Barbara sent me loads of information before we got to the island which was so helpful in planning our trip. She also gave us a wedding gift, which was so sweet and thoughtful. Barbara’s house manager Marcelle and caretaker William were also very friendly and helpful and showed us how to get to the grocery store and fish market when we arrived. Barbara, Marcelle and William were just a phone call or text away if we needed anything during our stay.
We booked the sailing/snorkeling trip with Caribbean Lady and it was great. We had a crew of three on the 47’ boat and they provided snacks, meal, drinks, dessert and snorkel equipment. It was an awesome experience, especially since it was my first time snorkeling and I was scared to do it. Christina on the boat was a wonderful instructor and Glen took great care of us on the boat and in the water. Captain Tom was informative and entertaining and his wife Ann made all of the food which was delicious, especially the Tres Leches dessert."

"We can't say enough good things about the house and the island. The house was very clean and accommodated our group of 10 with lots of elbow room! The property is beautiful with plants, trees, and flowers. It feels private. I loved getting up early to have coffee on the deck with the view of the water. Walking around town was a favorite as well as snorkeling at Mosquito pier. The beaches are amazing and so few people that you feel like you have the beach to yourself. We rented a 4wd Jeep so we could get to some remote beaches. It was hard to leave..."

"We had a great time in Vieques and the studio apartment was perfect for us! The Housekeeper picked us up at the Airport with a great big Smiling Welcome, gave us a brief overview of the Island on our way to the Apartment, and she gave us her cell number in case we needed anything at all. We found everyone on the Island to be friendly and helpful and really loved our memorable week in Vieques!
The Apartment had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and we did cook one night, but with all the delicious food trucks, we tried a different one every day!
The roof top deck was our nightly favorite place for star gazing, and although the pool is not large, it was very refreshing after the Beach!
I have never experienced such quietude on the Beaches. Unbelievable that each Beach was more beautiful then the other and for the most part, we had each Beach to ourselves for most of the time there!
Don't skip the Bio Bay tour and "Fun Brothers" offers glass bottom kayaks, it was Amazing!
Thank You Marie and Harvey!
Steve and Kathleen"
