  • A Wonderful Place to Bring in a New Year

"We stayed at the Magnolia House for six days and found it perfect for our needs. We loved that it was on a street with people who live there year-round as we prefer to not spend out time in "tourist only" areas. The location was ideal for us -- it's a few blocks away from the Malecon, a few blocks away from one of the main grocery stores in Esperanza, and a 10-15 minutes walk to Sun Bay. The absence of internet allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in being in Esperanza and being with each other. The porch is a perfect spot for some evening cocktails. If we return to Esperanza, I'd pick the Magnolia house again!"

  • Great neighborhood home

"We stayed 5 nights in the lower unit of Casa Jenny and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We appreciated Kikito's picking us up and returning us to the ferry, as well as his pointing out items of interest on the drive. The house was convenient to every thing we needed and provided all the necessities - the washer and drier were a real bonus! It was fun to have extras like the rafts, snorkels, puzzles, etc., to make our stay more fun (especially on the several rainy days we experienced). Living like a local does include sharing their noises - roosters mostly, with the frequent cars blasting music or propaganda - but that added to making it a more authentic experience. We did not have a car, but walked to several of the nearby beautiful beaches. If we come again, we'll spring for the rental just so we can explore beaches outside our walking range. All in all, we loved Casa Jenny and our stay in Esperanza."

  • I can't wait to go back!

"My stay at La Finca was the highlight of my Puerto Rico vacation. The staff was kind and helpful, not to mention generous. Our room was paradise. Mangos fell outside our door, we ate starfruit off of the trees, used the free snorkeling gear, and checked out the recommended local eateries. La Finca is beautiful, and I can't wait to go back!"
