"We had a great stay and enjoyed walking to the Malecon. One thing to keep in mind is during hurricane season, most restaurants are closed. We loved Vieques and really enjoyed all the beaches they have to offer and having a car was a huge plus. Joe was great and gave us great information about the island."

"The listing photos simply can't do this property justice! Tucked away in a seemingly mundane neighborhood, one passes along the drive toward an automated gating system--opened/closed by remote control--and winds along the drive through six acres of land toward the property. The large open area of the first floor invites with easy-to-keep-clean stone tile and a bar-height table. You almost feel like a movie star as you pass through the area and onto the pool deck. The beautiful pool maintained perfect temperature for early evening dips throughout the week. Ascending the winding Hollywood staircase (perfect for weddings, BTW) and through the massive wood doors at the top brings an indescribable feeling of luxury! Then, you enter the astonishingly large great room and all prior notions of heaven recede into memory. The lanai off the great room provided cool evening breezes for pondering the stars at night and cool morning breezes to watch the sunrise over Sun Bay and Mosquito Bay (there are virtually no mosquitoes most of the time). The bedrooms could be left open to the soothing air most nights and the coqui (tree frogs) sang us to sleep. The master bath can comfortably sleep eight in the Jacuzzi, but otherwise provides a comfortable and private way to clean up from the day's activities. There are many kitchens in the main house and "guest" house, poolside showers, and really too many amenities to mention that helped make this a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The only downside was having to return to the mainland."

Clean, comfortable, great service, and fantastic views
"Harvey and Marie were great hosts. We were picked up and dropped off to/from the airport. The condo is clean, neat, and has everything you need. Wifi signal is excellent. We spent a lot of time in the pool, had breakfasts on the rooftop (great views) every morning. The island is quiet and has fantastic beaches. The condo had beach chairs, umbrella, coolers for us to use. Harvey and Marie provided lots of tips and suggestions that were useful. It was a wonderful vacation."

"Arrive to the airport, rent a jeep, and get ready to be impressed. A local contact Jxxx showed us the way to the house, the remote opened the first gate by the road, right next to restaurant Next Course, then a third of a mile on a dirty road and the second gate also opens with the same remote. The gates close behind us and we feel like we own the mountain as there are no other properties near us. The studio overlooks the ocean with an unobstructed view from a cliff. The infinity pool blends perfectly well with the ocean. OMG! there are stools built into the pool were you can sip your favorite concoction. "Cava for me", I tell my girlfriend.
After a long nap in our studio we go for a drive and enjoy an incredible lobster at Trade Winds, which is only 20 minutes away. When we return we jump in the jacuzzi and sip a bit more cava.
The next two days are just as splendid. Not sure what I did to deserve so much luxury."
