  • This House is Amazing

"My Wife and I stayed at this house the first four days during our 8 day honeymoon, the other 4 days were spent at the W resort. While the W resort was lavish and posh, we much preferred the ambiance of this beautiful house up in the hills. Staying at Vieques 360 was the highlight of our trip. The house was every bit as amazing as it seems in the pictures. It is charming, relatively private (Just a few houses in close proximity) and captures the nature of Vieques. The house is plenty big enough for 2-4 people and it has the most amazing pool, looking out over the whole island. The pictures really don't do justice the feeling of sitting in that beautiful pool overlooking the island and out into the ocean. There is an unbelievable roof top deck. Perfect for sunrises, sunsets and sitting out under the stars. The bedroom has french doors overlooking the island and there is just the most soothing island breeze that constantly keeps air circulating through the house. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this house. We were able to do our own cooking some nights (Plenty of items to use) and the management team made sure the pool was kept in pristine condition while we were there."

  • Our vacation home for a week

"We just returned from spending a week on vieques. This was our first time to this beautiful peaceful island but I do not think it will be the last. Casa de Marullo was perfect for us, two couples, traveling together. It has a very large yard which seems more unusual for the area and it is all gated/fenced off to keep the horses out. The house is supplied well with things you need. The house manager, Marcelle, makes herself available for anything to make your stay great. Everyone on the island is very helpful and friendly. Working with the owner, Barbara, was also very easy and problem free. Any questions we had she quickly answered. I would highly recommend this for a vacation destination. We explored new beaches every day! One of the greatest things about the island is that most everywhere is so casual you can go right from the beach to the restaurants without having to go clean up first. Throw on your beach coverup and you are good to go!"

  • Fun for Everyone!

"I visited Vista Linda with a small group in the spring, and absolutely loved it. It's totally private and the views are spectacular. The grounds are lovely and well kept (complete with fresh fruit and cilantro for picking!), and there are a couple of cars ready for use to take to the beaches, in to town, and to the various horse pastures around the island. I would love to come back with my extended family because it offers something for everyone (plus you don't need to hassle with passports). The main house has an open (but gated and locked at night) first floor, with a pool table and seating for outdoor eating if it's rainy. The grounds are large and enclosed, which is perfect for all of my little cousins to run around while easily supervised from the pool area. The casita is its own, separate house and would be great for my grandparents, so they don't have to climb any stairs, and they'd have a nice view of the pool. For me and my older siblings and cousins, the town offers a lot in terms of restaurants and night life. We had a ton of fun exploring, dancing, and some (very small) gambling. We always felt safe, even late at night. Since most of the people who live on the island travel by horse, you won't encounter drunk drivers. During the day, there are ample markets, horse back riding, snorkeling and scuba diving, and trips to mainland Puerto Rico for hiking in the jungle. We had no trouble communicating with anyone, even as a group of gringos, since just about everyone speaks English fluently. I would like to learn more Spanish for my next visit, more as a matter of principle and being a responsible traveler than anything else, but it's not essential. As far as food goes, I could write an entire review on the restaurants alone. If you're looking for something a little more upscale, check out Tradewinds or El Quenepo. I came in convinced I didn't like seafood, and left a convert. If you want more casual and family-friendly, Duffy's offers a great view of the water (and some pretty good margaritas, too!). Overall an excellent experience. Would recommend for just about any group made up of all ages."
