"Just returned from SXM and already missing the villa. We've been fortunate to visit a number of wonderful destinations and stay at great properties. Topaz 6 was the best - hands down. It starts with a hassle free arrival. The location is perfect - easy access to French and Dutch attractions but situated on a quite part of the island, a nice grocery and a couple of restaurants across the street. The is a ton of space - we traveled with our three teens and had a ton of space to spread out (and lots of opportunities to come back together). Shocked to find a whole other floor ground level with two additional day beds! All of the furnishings and appliances were top end. Our kids loved the elevator. However, the views make this property special. We loved sitting in the pool or on the top balcony and watching the cruise ships and arriving planes ... or just looking down at the beach and beautiful water. As the week went on, we were all content to just spend the day at this refuge. Lastly, don't underestimated the benefits of having Rayna provide housekeeping services. Hoping to return."

"We stayed here with two adults and two teenagers and absolutely loved it!
The entire wall opens up in the front, allowing a constant ocean breeze to flow right through. The view is unobstructed and absolutely incredible! Everything was very clean, the kitchen was well-stocked, and we couldn't have asked for more.
We stayed during June, so not everything on the beach was open, but there were still several choices for dinner just a walk down the beach.
There was a lot of seaweed when we stayed because there was a combination of high sea temperatures and storms out at sea, but we learned that this is not very common. We were still able to enjoy the beach and the beautiful pool every day.
It was nice to be near the restaurants and activities of Orient Beach, but staying at the quieter area of the beach.
The assigned covered parking spot was also a big plus.
This was our first time to St Martin, and after thoroughly exploring the entire island, I'm confident we made the best choice for us in accommodations!"

"The pictures don't do this villa justice. Everything in the house was immaculate and very clean. Did not see one bug/mosquito the entire trip. Cathy, the caretaker, was very knowledgeable about where to shop for groceries and where to get certain items you may need. She has 3 dogs on the property, but they're very friendly (except to the iguanas) and will come up to you just to say hello.
We had 6 adults and one 8-month-old. The villa comes with a crib for an extra charge, which was great to have for the baby.
This time of year, early September, the beaches were almost completely empty. Being in such close proximity to the Westin, we thought there would be more people, but I guess not too many people travel here during hurricane season, which made it a very private setting the entire time for us.
It is a little hike down to the beach, but well worth it. There are plenty of reefs to scout out by snorkeling, which we took advantage of almost every day.
The shopping in Philipsburg on Front Street and Back Street was great, lots of shops. Marigot is very nice too, it is on the other side of the island, and they have flea markets over there."
