"We stayed at Villa Cocinelle with 8 of us (2 families) in the house. It was a very nice house and we especially appreciated that each bedroom had it's own shower and toilet. We especially loved the two outdoor seating areas, the dining table and chairs for all 8 of us and the pool with a fabulous view! We also appreciated that the kayaks were included with the house and enjoyed being able to kayak out to the sand bar and over to Pinel Island. Bruno was helpful with any questions we had and our cleaning lady gave us the best suggestions for groceries (Super U for the better produce) and Simply Market (the closest). She also gave us a great tip for BBQ at Lolo's in Grand Case. We also ordered pizza and salad twice from Villa Pizza just up the road - it was delicious!! Just a few other things to be aware of: 1) there are not basic amenities provided such as toilet paper, hand soap or kleenex. We had to purchase those ourselves which in the US are typically provided in a house rental. However, several power adapters were provided which was great! 2) I would agree with a few others about the mosquitos. Some of the people in our party did get more bites than others. Some of us did not get any at all. 3) We also used the washing machine but needed to use our own laundry soap. And there are lines outside to hang dry the clothes. 4) Finally, one caution is to not pull into the driveway. There is a gate lock in the ground that nearly caused dameage to our rental car so we just stayed parked on the road. Overall, it was a great stay and certainly a very quiet location and easily accomodated all 8 of us."

"My family and my friends family stayed at Villa Pom for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. A fully stocked kitchen made it easy to cook meals which helped us from spending too much eating out. We brought spices but didn't need to as people must've left theirs, so there is plenty. The pool and porch in the evenings was perfect for hanging out. Plenty of room for 11 of us! Plenty of bathrooms for all of our needs. Easy and quick kayaking (2 provided) to Il Pinel is a must for a beautiful, calm, relaxing beach day vs. ferry was $12/person. Dexter's Boat Charter and Fishing was incredible...plus you get to keep your catch which most places won't let you do. We grilled the fish...delicious meal! Melissa was wonderful in handling horseback riding arrangements and any questions we had. Most of all, we loved not being in a resort!"

"My husband and I stayed for 5 days at this studio run by a loveable family. The studio has all the amenities of a furnished apartment including a bbq on the deck overlooking the beach. I Cannot say enough about the aesthetics of the place. Francois has an eye for decorating. We also took advantage of the kayak by rowing to Pinel island. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend the place to anyone looking for a quick getaway."

"This was our third time at Aquazen in less than three years (family of 5 with children ages 11, 8, and 5). We had again a great time. We like the house layout and modern furnishings (you can tell that Christian's wife is a designer) and its location on the water. There are little things that make this house special. Our kids love sleeping in the loft, we play games on the deck outside with beautiful views of the bay, my wife and I enjoy nespresso coffee machine for our morning dose of caffeine, Philippe is always willing to help, and I enjoy talking to Christian, the owner, when he comes to visit. The house is conveniently located with an easy access to stores, Orient beach and Grand Case (my favorite restaurant destination). It is amazing that such a small town can offer so many great culinary destinations.
Unlike our last trip, this time wind was not too strong and we were able to kayak to Pinel island every day. We also had fun practicing on paddle board. For us beginners, it is great that the bay is protected and has almost no waves. Visiting St. Martin over New Year and staying at Aquazen has become a tradition for us. We are already looking forward to our next year’s trip back"
