  • Perfect Caribbean Vacation

"I travel a lot and stay in many beautiful places. Valerie’s house tops the list! The photos don’t begin to capture the beauty of the location. We spent every night drinking wine on the porch, looking out at the ocean and basking in the warm night-time breeze. The house is thoughtfully designed and appointed and the layout of the house is perfect for indoor/outdoor living. Valerie was an incredible host, offering up tips on the best surf spots and kayak and wind-surfing rentals. When we had trouble with our rental car at the airport, Valerie called a local place, got us a good deal and convinced the company to bring the car to us! She was a perfect hostess and it is a perfect home—I can’t wait to be back."

  • A little piece of paradise.

"My wife and I spent 2 thoroughly relaxing weeks at this studio. The peace and quiet , only interrupted by the sound of the waves beating the nearby shoreline, and the birdsong, made for a tranquil setting in absolute privacy. The studio itself has all that you need in the way of amenities, and is very clean and orderly. The family are only a step away around the other side of the house , should you need anything at all , or advice. Yves and his son Hugo are a splendid pair of fellows, polite, obliging, and helpful. A car is a must to get around this very pretty Island , with an abundance of beautiful beaches. There is a fine selection of restaurants and bars on both sides of the Island, and the nearby Supermarket abounds with French wines, cheeses, cooked meats and other delicasies. We put the Kayak to good use , paddling over to Pinel Island , and in the evenings took a bottle of wine down to the jetty to watch the sunset. What more can I say. A wonderful and memorable holiday. Denise and Dave, (Trinidad and Tobago.)"

  • Best view on St. Martin

"This home was the best rental we could have ever found. It is very well appointed with all the cookware and glasses one would expect in their own home. The views of the Cul de Sac Bay Area are phenomenal especially from the infinity pool with a cold one in hand. You have use of kayaks to make your daily trip to Pinel for sand, sun and food. We all loved it. As fabulous as the villa is the thing that pushes it over the top is your hostess, Veronique. She and her husband live next door and are willing to assist with dining reservations, babysitters (ask for Bamboo) and whatever you can dream up. Last comment, we had our whole family including a 2 yr old grandson on the trip, one major concern in booking any villa was his safety around a pool. It was a great relief to find out that the pool is well designed with limited access. It made us all much more at ease with him wandering around with no danger of him falling into the water. We cannot say enough about wonderful Villa Pinel."

  • This was fantastic, I wish we could have stayed longer.

"We enjoyed our visit to Studio Pinel last year and returned this year to do it again. We were not disappointed and enjoyed it every bit as much. The property is exactly as advertised- clean, quiet and charming. You will need to rent a car if you stay here, to get around to the shops and explore the island. But it is paddling distance to get across to Pinel Island - about 7 min of easy paddling in sea kayaks that Bruno provides for free. There are great beaches and a really nice restaurant on Pinel Island. The owners are very friendly, speak English well and were very helpful when we needed them- but otherwise we didn't see them much and they were not in any way intrusive. Its a wonderful, restful bit of paradise."
