  • Wanted to stay longer!

"My wife and I spent 14 great days in Marie's condo. The photo in the condo description is what we saw every morning as we had coffee on the deck. After breakfast we either took a walk, did some swimming, or just sat in a beach chair. We spent the day exploring, or having a wonderful lunch at one of the many lolos in the area. After dinner out, we played cards on the deck, drank wine, and listened to the surf. Thanks for sharing, Marie."

  • Beautiful

"My wife and I stayed two months in this apartment. The location is great, on the beach in Grand Case. Grand Case offers good shopping and easy access to French groceries, wine, bakeries, and some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean. The condo building is secure, although the main entrance door closure needs to be adjusted as it does not always lock, particularly if the wind is high. The pool is beautiful however the deck near the beach has washed away due to the last cyclone and needs repair. The location of the damage does not affect the use of the pool or access to the ocean. The apartment itself lives up to the photos, it is well furnished and the view is spectacular. We were happy to spend our time on the spacious covered deck overlooking the ocean. The kitchen is spacious and equipped enough to be functional for daily cooking. The living area is spacious and very comfortable. The housecleaner comes in weekly and does a thorough 5 hour cleaning, including changing all linens. The apartment is spotless! The building is adjacent to Calmos Cafe, which does offer live music twice a week. The music can be loud to the early hours, but we did not find it disturbing our sleep. As a side note, we do feel that the sound level is unnecessarily high and too late in the evening on those nights, for a residential area and perhaps this should be addressed with the authorities that control noise levels. There are however some wear and tear issues, as with most houses. We have provided a specific list to the owners and hope that ongoing review and maintenance will ensure that the details live up to the exceptional quality of the apartment. In conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in this apartment. We highly recommend it, and plan on returning."

  • Best you could ask for!

"Three of us stayed in this beautiful two bedroom condo for two weeks! Itis very centrally located in the quaint Creole town of Grand Case, right on the beach! The highlight of the building is the balcony overlooking the beach which runs the width of the three story building. The second and third floor units (we were on the second floor) are completely furnished with table for six, and large lounge area. You can sit out there all day out of the sun if you like, and around 4:00 when the sun starts to come around and it gets hot, you can move out to the balcony on the street side where there is always a lovely breeze and shade at that time of the day, and its a great spot for people watching! The bedrooms are on the street side of the building. One has 2 twin beds and an adjoining shower/sink, while the other has a king bed with ensuite shower/sink, and they are air conditioned with very quiet units. There is only one toilet located between the two bedrooms. The kitchen/sitting room are in between the balcony and bedrooms and face the ocean with sliding glass doors the entire width. There is no a/c in this area however if you open the back french doors you get a nice cross breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped but small. The lower floor is split between and office on the beach side one one side and second bathroom, with a shower on the balcony for washing the sand off. There is also a shared laundry room located in the back. There is a small wooden deck off the front with stairs down to the beach. Beach chairs and towels are provided as well as all other linens. There is also a charcoal Weber grille for your use on the deck. The beach is very quiet, at times we were the only people there. The sand is fine and white and the water perfect for swimming because this area of the bay is protected so there are no big waves. The view if the entire bay is fantastic. There is one parking spot per unit off street which is great because the street is one lane, one way and parking is hard to come by, especially in the evenings when the shops and fabulous French restaurants open and the tourists from all over the island flood in. The building is very clean and well maintained. It is secured from the street and beach sides with locking iron gates and has a security system, as well as metal roll down shutters across the beach balconies. There is satellite TV however there are only French channels. The wifi reception is pretty good but can be a bit"

  • Beautiful Spot!!

"We were so glad we chose the Grand Case area for our vacation!! This property offers a beautiful view of the ocean and Anguilla without even leaving the condo!! The owner does an excellent job maintaining contact leading up to the vacation. The property manager is also superb to work with. She was there to greet us upon arrival and gave us some great tips as to where to shop and dine. There is snorkel gear, beach chairs/towels, and a cooler to venture out to the beach below. Everyone we encountered here was very friendly and welcoming. The beach in front of the property is easy access. You can use the beach as a way to get into the village where there is a multitude of shops and restaurants to chose from. A ten minute walk is all it takes!! There is parking on the premises, but I would highly recommend a small car to rent as it is quite limited. I hope to have the pleasure of revisiting this paradise and would highly recommend this property to anyone!!"
