  • It's all about the view!

"This condo is very well situated in Grand Case, directly on the beach, with a view that you can't help but look at as you enjoy sitting on the patio. My husband and I spent every morning and night here, listening to soft jazz and sipping our wine. The location is ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time dining at any of the fantastic restaurants in town. We were also fortunate to enjoy Mardi Gras on Tuesday night in town, which is a great sight to see! We did rent a car from the nearby Econo Cars, which was very convenient. Beware that many roads are narrow and there is quite a bit of traffic. Parking is limited, but we always managed to find a spot with little difficulty. Having a car is essential if you plan on exploring all that the island has to offer. Some highlights that I recommend are a visit to the Loterie Farm, the Butterfly Farm and a short ferry trip to Pinel Island. I think it's important to note that a couple of details were overlooked, specifically: the street address given to us by the owner was incorrect and the name of the condo complex was not provided ahead of time (which resulted in a very aggravated taxi driver and several stressful moments at the start of our vacation) and there was an undesirable odor in the kitchen area that may have been from a pet being in the unit previously (although it dissipated when the patio door was open). On a final positive note, the property manager (Anna) was prompt, friendly and very helpful. And, when it was important to reach the owner for clarification about the unit number/location, she was very responsive, which we greatly appreciated."

  • Ideally located, clean, spacious with unbelievable views of Grand Case bay, Anguilla & Creole Rock

"This condo apartment, two floors above the ground floor, is perfectly located in the restaurant row of St. Martin, Grand Case. Convenient as there is parking in front and the beach is right downstairs. The view from the apartment's terrace is unbelievable. Better than the pictures here. You can see Grand Case bay, Anguilla and Creole Rock. The manager is accommodating and everything went according to plan. The only thing that would make the apartment more perfect would be having the washing machine in the unit instead of a shared one on the ground floor. There is not much noise and the air conditioning keeps the bedrooms comfortable. Also the apartment was very clean and there are no annoying charges as everything, with final cleaning, is included in the quoted rental rate."

  • Beautiful Spot!!

"We were so glad we chose the Grand Case area for our vacation!! This property offers a beautiful view of the ocean and Anguilla without even leaving the condo!! The owner does an excellent job maintaining contact leading up to the vacation. The property manager is also superb to work with. She was there to greet us upon arrival and gave us some great tips as to where to shop and dine. There is snorkel gear, beach chairs/towels, and a cooler to venture out to the beach below. Everyone we encountered here was very friendly and welcoming. The beach in front of the property is easy access. You can use the beach as a way to get into the village where there is a multitude of shops and restaurants to chose from. A ten minute walk is all it takes!! There is parking on the premises, but I would highly recommend a small car to rent as it is quite limited. I hope to have the pleasure of revisiting this paradise and would highly recommend this property to anyone!!"

  • Perfect for a couple or small family

"We loved our stay at this beautiful, well-equipped, clean condo in Grand Case. It is right on the beach and offers a perfect view of Antigua. We are a couple who travelled with our 18-month old daughter. The second bedroom was a must so we could put our daughter down for naps and still enjoy the rest of the space. Jay and his property manager, Ana, provided a cot/crib for our daughter, which was really appreciated. The price for this 2-bedroom beachfront condo is unbeatable. Grand Case beach is perfect for young children, with lots of soft sand and a shallow entry into the water. Grand Case itself is a great staging ground for a trip to St. Martin, with all the amenities you might need as noted by other reviewers. We rented a car and did day trips to Phillipsburg, Marigot, Lotterie Farm spa (a must!), Orient Bay and Mullet Bay (the latter two beaches are overrated, in my opinion). The condo had everything we needed but would benefit from a few nice lounge chairs for the beach (the only ones available were floppy folding chairs). Jay was a very attentive, friendly and communicative host, promptly answering every email sent from home and from our destination. He also made himself available by phone, though we never needed to call. Once we made our reservation, Jay forwarded a detailed document containing everything we needed to know about the condo, detailing and reviewing every beach and local restaurant and providing excellent travel tips - this was definitely worth more than a Lonely Planet guide! Our favourite restaurants in town were the local-style Creole places, especially Enod's (ask around because the name isn't on the sign). Dining on St. Martin is VERY expensive for the quality. On Jay's recommendation, we rented a car off-site from a local company (the name escapes me now). We were very pleased with the service and had no issues. According to many reviews on Trip Advisor, St. Martin rental companies (including the large international ones) have a reputation for scamming tourists. Parking was VERY tight at the condo (by North American standards), but it was manageable and very convenient to have a spot right out front and off the road. I would note that the directions to the condo could be better detailed. We passed by the condo twice before finding it in broad daylight. Providing the neighbouring hotel as a landmark would help tremendously! I would recommend this condo to anyone travelling as a couple or with kids."
