  • Beautiful Vacation Spot

"Two Senior couples both celebrating our 45th wedding Anniversaries, we take an great trip every 5th year and this one was AWESOME!! Our prompt host Michel went to great extremes to see we were comfortable!! The Apt is better than the photos, magnificent views from the HUGE balcony overlooking the quaint Grand Case villa of truly outstanding restaurants. The main drag in Grand Case will remind you of the French Quarter in New Orleans with narrow roads and all the second floor balconies. Parking was never a problem, the tiny airport runaway across the street was fun to watch when the occasional plane landed and we loved being right next door to the Calmos Cafe a true beach bar and restaurant. The Cafe has a beach chair special, if you have snacks or lunch there your beach chairs and umbrellas are free all day. The village people are as friendly as any we have ever met. Marigot a few miles away has great shopping and a if you want a more commercial resort Front Street on the Dutch side in Phillipsburg is a short drive away with plenty of oceanside bars and shops like Venice Beach in Ca. There is a large grocery store about 3 miles inland. We really enjoyed our stay will keep it on our list of places to return to."

  • WONDERFIL VACATION

"We were really excited to spending 10 days in St. Martin. We were lucky to find this perfect condo. It accommodates 2 adults perfectly. The view from the living area and terrace takes your breath away. The beach is right at your door. Lounge chairs, umbrellas are provided as are noodles to enjoy the warm, amazing blue water. The restaurant next door "Rainbow Cafe" is wonderful for an afternoon drink You can use their lounge chair just for the price of a drink. We particularly enjoyed Bsigtro Caraibes. We had 2 delicious dinners there. The "lolo" Sky's The Limit is a great place for BBQ at extremely reasonable prices. The beach at Anse Marcel is lovely. We had a terrific lunch there as well. We will return next year for another perfect vacation. Susan & Michael"

  • Exceptional view, perfect host.

"My wife and I have been to St. Maarten many times but we've always stayed on the Dutch side. For this trip my wife wasn't coming so I decided to try the French side. This condo proved to be the perfect spot for a great vacation. To begin with, Jay is the perfect owner/host. He has great communication and, in addition, provides a wealth of information about the condo, the local restaurants and shops, places of interest, the entire island. Following Jay's suggestion, I ate at several restaurants I'd never been to and they were exceptional. Make sure to try Le Cottage and Bacchus...tell them Jay sent you and you'll get phenominal treatment. The view from the condo is unsurpassed. You're looking out the glass door across the Caribbean to Anguilla. The condo itself felt safe and quiet. You can go out the back and walk down the beach to a variety of restaurants. The back bedroom is a little tight and and has a pullout sofa but since I was alone, I used it to store my luggage. That bedroom does get a little street noise but it's not bad. The front bedroom gets the sound of the surf lapping on the beach. The condo isn't huge but plenty big for 2-4 people. The kitchen has everything you need. If you have any challenges you can call Anna, the property manager and she's minutes away. I had zero problems during my stay. My thanks to Jay for a wonderful time. I hope to return soon."

  • Location, Location, Location VIEWS and talk about being RIGHT on the beach!

"I have not even checked out yet, but wanted to go ahead and post this. If you want to be in Grand Case, this is the apt. you should get. WHY? 1) Location is central Grand Case 2) Best views EVER, you have your private beach view and a balcony overlooking Grand Case main street. 3) You could not be closer to the beach 4) Apt is lovely, clean, well stocked 5) The doors open all the way across, if we were in the apt, we spent every minute on the patio 6) the boats 7) private beach access, the sound of the waves is so soothing 8) walking distance to the best restaurants in St. Martin, the only negative is that there are too many to choose from 8) the owner was responsive and most helpful For you Americans, remember you are in France. The apt has several adapters for your use, I never had to use the ones I brought. Jean-Pierre, it would be nice to have instructions for how to use the appliances in English! Bring CASH, most restaurants and shops will let you pay dollar for euro if you pay in cash. Grocery store across the street had the basics of what we needed for our stay. We did not rent a car but there is a garage if you do, which is rare. Very cool boulangerie and pharmacy down the street. We did not have a bad meal but are going to have to go on a diet when we get back! I use VRBO all the time, and am delighted with this choice!"

Grand Case Beach Travel Tips

Dual Nations of Grand Case Beach Resorts

Many people do not know that the island of St. Maarten is actually divided into two parts and that it is the smallest land mass in the world to be shared by two nations. St. Maarten is owned by the Dutch while St. Martin is French. When you stay at Grand Case beach resorts, you will have an opportunity to explore the 37 square miles that make up St. Maarten/St. Martin Island. St. Maarten rentals overlook Simpson Bay Lagoon which is a hot spot for yachting. It seems more people are finding Grand Case beach lodging each year.

Stroll on the Beaches near Grand Case Beach Lodging

Beaches are the main attraction at Grand Case beach lodging. St. Maarten and St. Martin have 37 beaches total, with many of the Grand Case beach resorts holding property on them. Orient Bay is one place you will want to drive to in order to experience the underwater marine reserve. You can scuba dive or snorkel right off the beach at Orient Bay. The most famous beach at St. Maarten is Maho Bay Beach, a few miles from St. Maarten rentals. This beach is at the end of the local airport, so planes fly overhead as you lay in the sand.

Paradise Ecotours close by St. Maarten Rentals

Grand Case beach lodging makes it possible to dine in, by offering a fully equipped kitchen. You may even decide to catch your own fish while at the beaches. There are more options than just the white sandy shores if you want to rent a car. Driving from St. Maarten rentals, you can reach Loterie Farm. It has 150 acres of hiking and ecotour excursions, with a cafe for lunch when you do not wish to use the rental kitchen.

Luxury Marinas for Grand Case Beach Resorts

Yachting draws hundreds of visitors a year to St. Maarten, especially to Simpson Bay Lagoon. The lagoon can be accessed by two narrow channels with draw bridges. Many yachts take advantage of the luxury marinas and sheltered waters. Looking from the deck of Grand Case beach resorts, you can witness several of these yachts arriving or departing during your stay.
