"Three of us stayed in this beautiful two bedroom condo for two weeks! Itis very centrally located in the quaint Creole town of Grand Case, right on
the beach! The highlight of the building is the balcony overlooking the
beach which runs the width of the three story building. The second and
third floor units (we were on the second floor) are completely furnished
with table for six, and large lounge area. You can sit out there all day
out of the sun if you like, and around 4:00 when the sun starts to come
around and it gets hot, you can move out to the balcony on the street side
where there is always a lovely breeze and shade at that time of the day, and
its a great spot for people watching! The bedrooms are on the street side
of the building. One has 2 twin beds and an adjoining shower/sink, while
the other has a king bed with ensuite shower/sink, and they are air
conditioned with very quiet units. There is only one toilet located
between the two bedrooms. The kitchen/sitting room are in between the
balcony and bedrooms and face the ocean with sliding glass doors the entire
width. There is no a/c in this area however if you open the back french
doors you get a nice cross breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped but
small. The lower floor is split between and office on the beach side one
one side and second bathroom, with a shower on the balcony for washing the
sand off. There is also a shared laundry room located in the back. There is
a small wooden deck off the front with stairs down to the beach. Beach
chairs and towels are provided as well as all other linens. There is also a
charcoal Weber grille for your use on the deck. The beach is very quiet, at
times we were the only people there. The sand is fine and white and the
water perfect for swimming because this area of the bay is protected so
there are no big waves. The view if the entire bay is fantastic. There is
one parking spot per unit off street which is great because the street is
one lane, one way and parking is hard to come by, especially in the evenings
when the shops and fabulous French restaurants open and the tourists from
all over the island flood in.
The building is very clean and well maintained. It is secured from the
street and beach sides with locking iron gates and has a security system, as
well as metal roll down shutters across the beach balconies. There is
satellite TV however there are only French channels. The wifi reception is
pretty good but can be a bit"

"My wife and I have vacationed three times in Grand Case (including the Grand Case Beach Club, which [although beautiful] was quite expensive and a ten minute walk out of town), and this was certainly best of the three stays. The apartment is beautiful and well appointed, with a terrace overlooking the water. Fresh baguettes looking out at the beach in the morning, and stunning sunsets sipping on a fresh rose before dinner every day. Doesn't get better! The location couldn't have been better either, right in town and directly on the beach. At least a dozen or more excellent restaurants within a two to five minute walk from the apartment, and several groceries and bakeries minutes away. Plenty of botiques and art galleries if shopping is your pleasure. Anna, the caretaker was really friendly, and very helpful. She set up lounge chairs and umbrellas on the beach for us, called taxis for us on several occasions, and was always around for assistance and advise. We would not hesitate to reccommend staying here, and will certainly be back ourselves."

"We stayed a week and enjoyed every minute. The beach is great. You do need to walk a bit down to get a good sandy beach. The condo was great. Has everything you need (except you will need to buy more toilet paper, they only provide what is on the rolls, no extra rolls). Helpful hint, the bar next door is over priced and rude. Take the walk down the beach to Rainbow, the one with the red umbrellas where a bucket of beer is $15 and you can sit all day in their umbrellas, plus the beach is nicer down there. The food is great. Find the bakery where a baguette is $1."

"This condo is very well situated in Grand Case, directly on the beach, with a view that you can't help but look at as you enjoy sitting on the patio. My husband and I spent every morning and night here, listening to soft jazz and sipping our wine. The location is ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time dining at any of the fantastic restaurants in town. We were also fortunate to enjoy Mardi Gras on Tuesday night in town, which is a great sight to see!
We did rent a car from the nearby Econo Cars, which was very convenient. Beware that many roads are narrow and there is quite a bit of traffic. Parking is limited, but we always managed to find a spot with little difficulty. Having a car is essential if you plan on exploring all that the island has to offer. Some highlights that I recommend are a visit to the Loterie Farm, the Butterfly Farm and a short ferry trip to Pinel Island.
I think it's important to note that a couple of details were overlooked, specifically: the street address given to us by the owner was incorrect and the name of the condo complex was not provided ahead of time (which resulted in a very aggravated taxi driver and several stressful moments at the start of our vacation) and there was an undesirable odor in the kitchen area that may have been from a pet being in the unit previously (although it dissipated when the patio door was open).
On a final positive note, the property manager (Anna) was prompt, friendly and very helpful. And, when it was important to reach the owner for clarification about the unit number/location, she was very responsive, which we greatly appreciated."
