"We just returned from spending 8 nights at Martine's place. I totally agree with all that was said about her, responsive and gracious host. She was very patient when our wire transfer took much longer than anticipated and she was always extremely quick in answering our e-mails. The apartment interior is exactly as shown on this site, beautifully decorated with nice amenities (including ice maker in the fridge, a nice surprise). The only photo not truly depicting current conditions is the one of the "terrace" outside the apartment. What appears like nice wood planks on the photos is currently dried-up grass. And there are no bushes with pretty blue flowers. Maybe the wood got destroyed in the last hurricane and the bushes died due to the terrible drought (latter none of Martine's fault of course). But I must admit we were disappointed that the photo wasn't updated to depict the real setting. Furthermore, due to the odor from all the seaweed on the beach right in front of the property, we couldn't open the doors, it was really bad. Nothing Martine could do about the seaweed situation either (which is getting more prevalent on many of the beaches which is a shame). Just to bear in mind if you travel there soon (local authorities are looking into ways to address the seaweed problem). I think it would be fair to say that the photo of the outside of the apartment should be updated to represent the actual condition. That said, not sitting outside the apartment didn't spoil our vacation, we enjoyed touring the island and exploring many seaweed-free beaches (Mullet Bay and Baie Rouge were some of our favorites)."

"This was our third time back to the beautiful island of St martin and our third different rental villa however I couldn't say enough about our stay in St Martin, but what truly made it incredible was our villa " Miile Fleurs" ..Right from the start during the booking process the owner Jack was so helpful and attentive to all my questions. The concierge service that is provided with your villa truly made you feel as if you were staying in a 5 star hotel. The daily house keeper and grounds keeper were awesome as well. The villa is kept impeccable with every detail thought about and having a daily housekeeping service made it that much more relaxing to not have to worry about picking up after a party of eight.
Upon arrival we were treated by Heather ( house keeper) . She was waiting with chilled towelettes rolled up perfectly on a tray to make us comfortable as we toured the villa . There was a start up basket of food in the frig and of course a freshly baked French baguette waiting for us. From the moment we Walked in we feel in love. Mille Fleurs home decor was gorgeous every detail thought about and the view took your breath away. Each individual bedroom had its own lock and the bedding was so comfortable plus having those rooms air conditioned was only an added bonus.
The outside decor was as nice and comfortable as the inside decor and the effort that Jack the home owner put into the pool area when designing it did not go unnoticed. All of the pool area sitting nooks and oversized outdoor chairs, couches and lounges made the gathering spots that much nicer and so relaxing!!!
I love to cook not so much when on vacation lol but Mille Fleurs stocked kitchen and incredible cookware made it that easy to just stay in on occasion and watching the incredible sunsets poolside gave us a reason not to want to leave anyway.
The pictures of the home and website were awesome but nothing was like seeing it in person. All I can say is Mille Fleurs was a great choice for our vacation this year. The location was awesome and very secured. The villa was magnificent !!! We can't wait to have the opportunity to go back and are grateful for the memories we shared and made there and of course our love for St Martin which has some of the most beautiful beaches and truly is our happy place 😍😍😍😍"

"My wife and I have been to St. Marteen 3 time now and this villa was the best value so far. It does not have five star hotel quality but it does have the working man quality, its not the top of the line but it works. Just as stated on VRBO 3 bed, two bath with pool. During our stay the the brackets for the handheld shower heads fell off the wall, for both showers, the hardware just rusted away. The pool is small but it was clean and very nice for floating around in the evening trying to cool of the sunburn from the day at the beach. The things that happened to use while using this villa are the third that happen to you while living at home. The deck around the pool could use some TLC and the ladder was not secured well enough for me to use. The top step fastener was missing one of its nut.
Just a little while before getting there the previous renter brought a cat and it had kittens while there. I did not realize that cats came with the place when I rented it. I'm sure that they will become more strays for the island.
The location to the beach from here is awesome, 5 min walk. There are shops and restaurants just down the road. You could actually stay at this villa without a car. A nice little market is on the way to the beach.
All in all it was clean, decorated, well equipped and charming. If I were to go back with a group of people or family this would be the place."

"A wonderfully relaxing week as we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Linda has provided nearly everything you could possibly need. This is a lovely 1st floor condo in a quiet, local neighborhood (not resort). We prefer to explore neighborhoods and local culture when we visit new places. I was worried that this might be too close to the airport, but that was not the case. This is within walking distance to karakter and cafe atlantico - both wonderful!
I think Simpson Bay is perfect location, somewhat protected on the south side, and a favorite mooring place for yachts and sailboats. The beach directly in front of the condo is rocky and has lots of sea grass...walk just a few minutes for a nice sandy beach.
We hired a local photographer to take sunset pictures in Mullet Bay https://www.facebook.com/LiliPetersonPhoto and a local professional massage therapist atouchofhandz.com for a couples massage in the condo. Good local options if you are looking for things in the "romantic category"
We spent a day on Celine Too...a wonderful trip to Tintamarre - snorkeling, mud baths, swimming, awesome food and drink and the crew is really top notch. Highly recommend.
Come back home to a peaceful condo, beautiful walkout view of simpson bay and the best vacation ever. Thank you Linda!"
