"Unit was clean with everything you will need for an enjoyable relaxing stay. Owner was very helpful and promptly answered all of our questions. Directions to the condo were clear and we were met at the promised time and given the key. Beach is a short walk maybe 2 or 3 mins away. grocery store is just around the corner. There are several great restaurants close by. you will not be disappointed."

"My husband and I just spent a month at Villa Acropole and didn't want to go back home! This was the second year we vacationed in this villa, staying a month each year. The view is breathtaking! It is just a 10 minute walk from Orient Beach, which is the best beach on the island. There are lots of bars/restaurants on the beach, and plenty of beach loungers for sunbathing or relaxing. The villa is spacious and the kitchen is equipped with everything you will need. The dining table outside is where we ate all our meals, so we could enjoy the fabulous view of the ocean. The pool is very large, and there is a small refrigerator for your beverages! The owners, ZouZou and Alain were great! Great place and we highly recommend it! Hope to return for our third year!"

"I can't say how happy my wife and I were to have rented from Nick and Gloria. Nick and Gloria were excellent hosts who helped us get situated and made sure everything was good to go when we arrived and throughout our trip. The apartment was in great condition and a perfect base to launch from and return to for our daily explorations of the island. The location was perfect! We enjoyed the French side of St. Martin very much and the apartment was in a great spot for a quick drive to our favorite secluded beaches. It should be noted, if you stay here you will need to rent a car. But driving and parking on the island was very easy and we experienced no trouble and enjoyed the freedom a car provided. It's also perfect walking distant to the popular Orient Beach. If we return to St. Martin we will most definitely be staying with Nick and Gloria!"

"We just returned from spending 8 nights at Martine's place. I totally agree with all that was said about her, responsive and gracious host. She was very patient when our wire transfer took much longer than anticipated and she was always extremely quick in answering our e-mails. The apartment interior is exactly as shown on this site, beautifully decorated with nice amenities (including ice maker in the fridge, a nice surprise). The only photo not truly depicting current conditions is the one of the "terrace" outside the apartment. What appears like nice wood planks on the photos is currently dried-up grass. And there are no bushes with pretty blue flowers. Maybe the wood got destroyed in the last hurricane and the bushes died due to the terrible drought (latter none of Martine's fault of course). But I must admit we were disappointed that the photo wasn't updated to depict the real setting. Furthermore, due to the odor from all the seaweed on the beach right in front of the property, we couldn't open the doors, it was really bad. Nothing Martine could do about the seaweed situation either (which is getting more prevalent on many of the beaches which is a shame). Just to bear in mind if you travel there soon (local authorities are looking into ways to address the seaweed problem). I think it would be fair to say that the photo of the outside of the apartment should be updated to represent the actual condition. That said, not sitting outside the apartment didn't spoil our vacation, we enjoyed touring the island and exploring many seaweed-free beaches (Mullet Bay and Baie Rouge were some of our favorites)."
