  • Island Paradise

"Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was fabulous. Lighthouse 3C was the nicest condo we have rented anywhere. The view is breathtaking from all windows in the unit and from the roof top infinity pool and deck. The unit is beautifully decorated in coral, green, brown and beige with very comfortable furniture. The bathrooms have incredible fixtures and beautiful tile designs. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The kitchen is beautiful and fully stocked. The staff at Remax were wonderful to work with, and very helpful upon arrival which included a welcome basket of fruit, crackers and cookies. We certainly hope to return to St. Maarten and will stay in this unit only. We highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for an Island Paradise."

  • Exceeded All Expectations

"Completely agree with the previous review: this is one of the few times a place turned out to be even better than the photos. Stayed just shy of a week with some friends and it was hard to walk away from the house each day. Amazing views, spacious house, clean, and the pool - the pool is just an incredible addition. We got lots of recommendations from the rental manager and she was very easy to work with, not to mention quick to respond to each inquiry. The property manager was friendly, offered to drive us into town the first night for groceries, and gave us a phone to call him if we needed anything. Being way up on a hill has the advantage of feeling remote from everything - but it was a short drive to anything we needed. You can walk to bars, beach, restaurants in about 20 mins. Just be prepared for a steep hike back up. But any cab driver can take you up for a few dollars. Everything about our stay here was perfect. We will definitely stay at Casa Linda when (not if) we go back."

  • Incredibly Wonderful

"This condo lacks nothing! So comfortable from the instant you walk through the door to falling asleep. It is larger than the pictures suggest with incredible views just as stated. Sipping morning coffee or cocktails on either of the balconies will be a favorite for sure. All 3 have very comfy seating! Each bedroom offers very nice beds/bedding with plenty of closet space. The en suite baths are luxurious - with soaking tubs, double sinks, huge showers with double shower heads, plenty of towels, multiple blow dryers and even a curling iron! The gourmet kitchen is well stocked for prepping any meal. My husband was delighted to prepare several meals and was not disappointed. We did eat out as well and found the food fresh, tasteful and reasonably priced. The staff at Oyster are to be commended for their professionalism and friendliness. All are extremely helpful - just ask! We had a great family vacation..want to come back and would hands down stay here again! The owners have this rental unit well thought out, equipped and you'll hate to leave just as we did!"

  • Wonderful vacation

"We stayed in the Villa Victoria with 2 couples. The home is very large and we had room for more. The pool and outdoor areas are GORGEOUS. We loved the house. It was also very nice to have a chef come cook. We highly recommend Ramon. The housekeeping and rental company were both very nice and hospitable. The only negative, is it is a long drive up hill to get to the house. But it pays off with gorgeous views!!!"

Oyster Pond Travel Tips

Oyster Pond Vacation Rentals Give You Access to Two Countries

St. Martin is an island territory of both France and the Netherlands, and boasts the unique feature of having an unpatrolled border between each country's "side." What this means for travelers is the ability to soak up the sun on the French side (perhaps at one of the nudist beaches like Marigot's Orient Beach) during the day, change from your swimsuit to your party clothes at your Oyster Pond vacation rental, and then hit the Dutch town of Philipsburg for a delicious dinner and hopping nightlife.

Oyster Pond Vacation Rentals Offer Close Proximity to Philipsburg

Philipsburg is the Dutch capital of St. Maarten. As a port town, cruise ships often dock here releasing people hungry for the tax free shopping. Everything from imported electronics to handmade island crafts can be found here. With all the money you'll save choosing Oyster Pond villas as accommodations, you'll be able to purchase more souvenirs. If you're not a shopaholic, Philipsburg offers more options. You can check out the views and learn local history at two Dutch Forts dating back to the 1600s. Not far from the city is the Zoo, with over two hundred animals and botanical gardens. After the sun sets behind these shimmering blue waters, the city really comes to life with music and clubs and a reputation for some of the most energetic nightlife in the whole Caribbean.

Land and Sea Fun Surrounds St. Maarten Resorts

The southern beaches of St. Maarten are sunny with white sand under your feet and blue sky above your head. Spend your days hiking, horseback riding, kayaking, swimming, fishing, snorkeling, or simply enjoying the view. After a day of island fun, eat delicious seafood in a quiet, unique atmosphere at local favorite Big Fish, or dance the night away after a buffet meal at Captain Oliver's.
