  • The perfect place

"We have been to St Martin several times, and stayed at different locations each time. This was by far the best place. As soon as we opened the door to this villa we fell in love. The view is spectacular - and the covered deck runs the full length of the unit. Never needed the A/C, lots of fans and ocean breezes, and it was lovely to go to sleep with the sounds of the waves and the tree frogs. Coral Shores is a great little complex. Beautifully landscaped - flowers everywhere, and the pool is gorgeous - and not at all crowded. Plenty of lounges, with sun or shade. Well stocked villa, with everything you need - blender for those tropical drinks, gas grill, even binoculars for observing the boats going by. Very nice housekeeping staff who meet you and explain everything you need to know, and they keep the unit very clean. Already thinking about when we can return."

  • Great rental with amazing views!

"My girlfriend and I rented out this apartment for a week and we couldn't have been happier. The place is very clean, very modern with all the amenities you could want. The air conditioner was almost too cold! The bathroom is clean and modern and there is a ton of closet space. The best part about the place is the view though. You look right into the ocean off of Simpson Bay and you can watch the cruise ships sail off into the sunset every day. We used the fully stocked kitchen (stove, microwave, fridge, all dishware and cooking utensils, etc.) to cook breakfast each morning. Dora and Phillippe live right upstairs are are readily available in case you have any issues (we didn't have any really) but it was good to know they were just a phone call away. The only thing I would advise is to rent a car while staying here. You can easily walk to the beach or to the little market down the road but in order to see the island, you will want to have a car. You have your own parking spot right next to the house. The house is also in a very safe area surrounded by locals. The house is fully gated and the apartment has a sliding glass door as well as a security gate that can be locked form both the inside and outside. The house is on a hill so if you don't plan to rent a car, be ready to walk about 10 minutes up/down hill to get to the beach or the grocery store. We also recommend the restaurant right at the base of the hill (Bon Appetit). If you plan to do any kind of boat tour, make sure you book with Captain Bob at Soualiga Tours, it's about a 15 minute ride from the apartment. Book this place with confidence, it is the best value you will get on the entire island!!!"

  • Our New 'Home Away From Home'

"We stayed at this lovely condo for 5 nights. It wasn’t nearly long enough, but then no vacation to St. Maarten ever is. We loved this unit. It is bright, cheery, comfortable, and has just about every amenity one could possibly want. A great kitchen, whether you cook there or not. A lovely balcony just outside the sliding glass doors, wonderful screens for fresh air, and a balcony table with plenty of chairs. We ate breakfast on this balcony every morning, enjoying the distant view of the ocean through lovely palms. The condo was perfect for us. It was quiet, secure, and we had our own parking space not far from our door. A small swimming pool just outside the unit was often ours alone. Plenty of lounge chairs for soaking up the sun. Son Risa is in a great location — far enough from the crowds to feel as though you’re in your own little paradise, yet mere minutes to the action when you’re ready to go. The owners have thought of every possible comfort and also provide lists of restaurants, local activities, and reading materials. They are lovely people who answered our every question and then some. You just know they want you to be happy in their home. We almost didn’t want to write a review because we wanted to keep this great find a secret. Each and every moment of our stay at Son Risa was so special and we are only counting the days until our return! Perfect."

Pelican Key Travel Tips

Pelican Key Resorts Are Perfect for Families and Honeymooners

For years, St. Maarten has been a popular vacation destination and once you arrive you will know exactly why! The beaches are beautiful, the night life exciting, and there is so much to do, especially when you book Pelican Key lodging. Pelican Key resorts allow for plenty of snorkeling, beach combing, and fun in the sun. In fact, these St. Maarten rentals allow for the ideal family vacation or romantic getaway for anyone.

So Much to Do near Pelican Key Lodging

Pelican Key resorts are situated along the curvy Simpson Bay which makes the beaches extra gorgeous. Though it is one of the most developed areas on the island, Pelican Key lodging still exudes a sense of serenity and privacy. However, there are plenty of restaurants, shops, casinos, boutiques, and entertainment options to choose from, so you will never hear anyone saying, “What is there to do?” or “I am bored.”

Do Not Miss the Beaches at St. Maarten Rentals

Anyone who loves the beach will enjoy their stay in St. Maarten rentals. With more than 36 white sandy beaches to choose from covering 37 square miles, you can experience a new beach every day! Each beach has its own special charm and character, ranging from isolated romantic beaches set inside coves to hopping public beaches where the kids will have a blast. Regardless of the type of beach, all have wonderful waves for surfing and plenty of room for swimming and snorkeling.

Pelican Key Resorts Offer So Much More than the Beach

Though Pelican Key resorts are situated along the beaches, you do not have to spend all your time in the sun and on the sand. St. Maarten rentals allow for plenty of other activities, too. You can spend your time parasailing, horseback riding, mountain biking, sailing, and even shopping (duty-free at that!). And no matter how you spend your time at Pelican Key lodging, be sure not to miss the vibrant atmosphere, tropical cocktails, and fine dining at night.
