"The place was really great - just as advertised, really well laid out and thoughfully equipped. Dora and Phillipe are great to deal with.
For getting around the Island - figure out the Minibus - Taxis are VERY expensive. Hilda's Windsor Castle in Simpson Bay is the Bomb! and Elvis at Sky's the Limit in Grand Case - big thumbs up for local, or "LoLo" food. Take cash if you're exploring the island - not all machines work. The French side is more Lonely Planet style traveler - bit more earthy. Check out SO French near the apartment. It lives up to the name. Some of the best Foie Gras I've had on 3 continents.
The walk up the hill? Sure, it can be a bit of a thing if you're sunstroked and tired at the end of the day. But truly, it wasn't that bad. If it weren't for that hill, I'd have gotten fat with all the good French food I ate.
For god's sake remember to wear sunscreen and a hat, and like anyone who's read Hitchiker's Guide to the Universe knows, know where your towel is. They cost 4 Euros on Orient beach. I know where mine is: I left it on Dora and Phillipe's railing :D"

"Like many before us we fell in love with Mac and Jack's condo at Son Risa in Pelican Key. We have spent 3 delightful weeks in March 2015 enjoying the ambiance, the pool and the location. We have been coming to St Martin since 1987 and have never found accommodations quite as enjoyable as these. We will be back."

"From the minute we walked into the villa, it felt like our “home away from home”. The pictures and other reviews on the site simply don’t do justice to this villa. The owner, Judith, has taken great care to ensure that it doesn’t feel like a rental, rather as an extension of your own home. All of the little things you normally wouldn’t think about were taken care of: there is both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, lots of dishes and cookware, plenty of beach towels in addition to bath towels, plastic cups for the pool as well as glassware, outdoor shower to wash the sand off your feet, the list goes on and on. The furnishings were perfect and the rooms are spacious. We fell in love with it.
The deck is huge with an amazing view; we had fruit, coffee, and croissants out there every morning for breakfast. It’s also THE place to watch the sun set before dinner. The pool is close and was very quiet – we were there a couple of times and saw no one else.
Sylma, the on-site manager was particularly helpful and a pleasure to work with. She greeted us with a huge smile when we arrived, showed us around, and even gave us directions to the local grocery! She made sure that the villa was properly cleaned when we had service, and that everything was going well with our stay.
And thank you Judith for all your help, information, and hospitality. You have a lovely villa and we will be back!!!"
