"Our stay at The Pearl was nothing short of spectacular. The house is exactly as it is in the pictures. The owner did everything right with this house. The location is perfect (less than 5 minutes to Orient Beach) and under ten minutes to all the great restaurants in Grand Case. We enjoyed cooking at the house and eating outside as well as the beautiful pool. The showers were incredible, with good water pressure. The only "complaint" would be the lack of an outdoor shower to rinse off when coming back from the beach. But, that's minor and certainly didn't detract from the house or the wonderful time we had there. We'll definitely be booking a repeat trip to St. Martin and The Pearl."

  • Looking for a romantic getaway? This is it!!

"Villa Leone is a beautiful unit in the Guana Bay Villas. The unit sits right at the waterfront. We chose to stay on the first floor, "The Waves" . With the drapes open, we could wake to see the ocean, and go to sleep in the moonlight. The villa looks exactly as the pictures portray. It is bright, immaculate, and has all the amenities one could desire. The queen beds were new, sporting the softest of sheets and a cozy comforter. The unit had plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything we required. We chose to grill one evening, and dine on the patio by moonlight. Very romantic! The area is quiet and secluded. This is not the typical hotel/resort atmosphere. If you are looking for crowds you won't find it here. But, if you like privacy, and don't like to share your space with a huge crowd, you will love this villa. The pool is clean and well-maintained. And, the beach-access is just a short walk. You must have a car to access the area, and it is best to shop on your way in. The villa is a short ride to Phillipsburg, where you can walk along the "boardwalk" and enjoy local restaurants, shopping and the beach. For a lavish treat, take a ride to Pinelle Island, where you will find a beautiful beach, crystal clear water, and the best spiny lobster, as you dine right at the water!! Yummy. And, you may want to stop in at Topper's in Simpson Bay for a casual meal and lots of fun at karaoke. This was a fifth trip to St. Maarten, and the villa offered a different perspective to staying in a resort. We so enjoyed this trip, and look forward to next year."

"My husband and I had the best vacation ever at this rental property. Daniel and JF are amazing hosts. So friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfect. Beautiful sea view. Relaxing. I had a scuba diving accident and had to delay my return flight for a few days. No problem as Daniele kindly offered to have me stay with her and JF. Amazing hosts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL. My husband and I cannot wait to return again."

  • Great Place to get to know Grand Case and the French side of the island

"My husband and I spent a fabulous 3 weeks, October 21-November 11, 2012 in Grand Case in this apartment. We had never been to St. Martin before and were very pleased to discover that we "got it right" on all aspects. The Bleu Marine Residence is new and very secure: an electric gated for the parking, front door with code access, electric shutter for the bedroom window and the large terrace, security box in the unit. We must say that the residence is absolutely beautiful and I would say one of the best places to stay in Grand Case. The unit was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable, well decorated, located directly on the beach, surrounded by tropical plants, and had absolutely stunning views. The kitchen has all the amenities you need for cooking a full meal! But, if you want to eat out, within walking distance, Grand Case village has many wonderful places to experience French Cuisine and local island foods as well. My husband and I loved sitting on the terrace in the morning with fresh croissants and at night with a fresh baguette, a glass of wine, and sliced cheeses, all the while looking out at the sunset over the Caribbean. In 3 weeks, we had all the time to tour the island and several beaches, Pinel island, visit St Barth! But also spent a lot of our time on the beach in front of the apartment swimming and taking long walks. We have no hesitation to recommend this apartment. Thanks to Arnaud for his recommendations and assistance during our stay. Note to the owner: the two long chairs provided are very design and comfortable but they are too nice, too heavy and inadequate for the beach (sand, salt, water). A nice addition would be two beach chairs."
