  • Sea Place Villa, a beautiful place to stay

"As beautiful a place, every bit as beautiful as on Home Away's photos. The condo was clean, perky decorated, and had an excellent view. The furnishings were perfect, and comfortable. Hermine, the dear housekeeper, came to clean daily, and even did our laundry! My husband and I celebrated our 15th anniversary at Sea Place Villa. We highly recommend Sea Place Villa and plan to visit again, in the future."

  • Honeymoon in a Heavenly Space!

"My husband and I had a wonderful time on our honeymoon here! The apartment was extremely spacious with a fantastic view of the ocean and all the amenities needed to enjoy an evening at home watching the sunset from the balcony. We had a great time exploring the neighborhood too. The apartment is very close to many delicious restaurants, delectable bakeries and several good markets. We felt very safe walking to and from the apartment after dinner and would often be greeted by the neighbors. We could walk right onto the beach from our building whenever we felt like it or go swimming in the pool. My husband loved snorkeling right outside the apartment and I enjoyed the long walks on the soft sand. We had an absolutely fabulous time."

  • It wasn't the ritz but it sure was nice

"Our stay was wonderful. I counted 75 steps to the beach and what a lovely beach, a view of some of the mountains, boats in the harbor-really big personal craft, houses on the hillside, Oh, my!. The people are wonderfully nice at the hotel and on the island. Driving is a bit scary, get the smallest car you can but everyone watches out for everyone else. We had a Mustang convertable and it seemed big but I am not spacially challenged. Very nice restaraunts throughout the island and this location is one of the best for lots of restaraunts. More than can eat at in a month but nothing is well marked so if you're not adventurous, stay home or eat at the hotel. It was very nice too. Not hard to find just 2 right turns and follow the signs. Have a navigator so you can watch the road and he/she can look for the signs. First time is almost a bit scary going to Mary's Boon but after a trip or two it's delightful. Have faith and just keep going. One thing about this island is that if you keep going long enough you'll end up back where you started from Due to mechanical problems our flight was cancelled and we were put up in a fancy, smancy newer hotel on the French side. Impressive place but we decided we liked our little place at Mary's Boon better."

  • Wonderful place! Highly recommended

"Wonderful place to stay! The pictures you see are truly what you get, it's unbelievable and the views including sunrise and sunset are breathtaking. The owners of this condo are extremely receptive and responsive to any issues that come up. We had no difficulty contacting them. The condo is within wakling distance of downtown but we did rent a car. We would recommend a car, not becuase you need it to get around from this location, but moreso because visitors should get out and explore the whole island! We went to a few different beaches, including Happy Beach which is a must see! Food in the area is great and there is a large variety! Would highly recommend this place to stay!!"

Simpson Bay Travel Tips

Simpson Bay Resorts on Antilles Island

Envision horseback riding along a sandy shore with the sun setting on the horizon, and you will have the ideal image of your Simpson Bay resorts vacation. Simpson Bay is located on the Dutch portion of St. Maarten, Antilles. The Antilles are broken into two sides, the Dutch and the French. St. Martin, Antilles is part of the western shore of the Greater Antilles Island. Though it is not a well-known fact, this island is the smallest land mass that two nations share peacefully. Long ago the two nations made an agreement that has allowed both to control portions of the Caribbean resort destination.

Yacht Sightings by Simpson Bay Lodging

Simpson Bay lodging sits above the largest lagoon in the western Caribbean. Simpson Bay Lagoon is shared equally with Saint Martin and St. Maarten. The larger land mass surrounding the lagoon is Saint Martin, the French nation. From St. Maarten rentals, you can watch mega-yachts come through one of the two draw bridges. The bridges are the only way to get into the lagoon as they sit over two narrow canals. Thousands of yachts visit Simpson Bay each year, especially during the summer months. You can also take the trip through the canal by booking a trip through Simpson Bay resorts.

Horseback Rides to St. Maarten Rentals

If you desire a glimpse of the sea around you from a higher altitude, leave your Simpson Bay lodging for the Seaside Nature Park. The nature park is on the Dutch side of St. Maarten, where natural beauty is only eclipsed by the amazing sunsets. Consider packing a picnic dinner at your St. Maarten rentals before going to the park. You can horseback ride, hike or stroll around Cay Bay which is part of the park before watching the sunset. Also consider spending the morning at the park to catch the sunrise.

Fun for the Family at Simpson Bay Resorts

Simpson Bay resorts are for the entire family with pirate treasure hunts, pizza, and soda offered in St. Maarten. Children can even take a pony ride along the shore of Simpson Bay Lagoon before relaxing by the pool at Simpson Bay lodging. St. Maarten rentals are close to many beach bars like Miss Lolo. Parents can feel secure in spending an hour or two at the bars after the children are asleep at this tropical destination.
