  • Better than All-Inclusive resort Suite

"We stayed here from 04/04/15 to 04/11/15. This was my first Vacation Rental booking and one of the best vacation experiences I have had. We met up with Gordon for a quick property orientation with valuable recommendations. After the orientation, we immediately went to Le Grand Marche (Supermarket) in Cole Bay and bought groceries and essentials. There are grocery stores nearby but if you have a car and want to save money, Le Grand Marche in Cole Bay is your best bet. Liquor is very cheap in Le Grand Marche. I love the kitchen, fully stocked and with very sharp knives. Good blender for Piña Coladas or any frozen drinks. I’m a foodie and I love cooking; the kitchen was perfect for me. Place is very clean and neat. Very comfortable bed, my wife and I slept like babies. Waking up and walking out to the terrace and seeing the catamarans, sailboats and yachts docked was a bonus in terms of relaxation. We enjoy the beautiful sunset as well. We felt very safe and the people around the area are friendly. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby including a McDonalds. During the week we drove to The Rainbow Café in Grand Case for lunch, to Riu for a day pass in Anse Marcel, Maho Bay, Mullet Bay and Little Bay. Don’t Bother with RIU day pass, skip it and go to a nearby beach club instead. If you don’t mind cooking and love great accommodation then don’t waste money on All-inclusive resorts or over price hotels with mediocre accommodations. In fact, Paradise Beach was a much better place and deal than one of Sandals Resort I went to. And if you are planning to stay in the new Riu All-Inclusive resort in St. Martin, you will most likely spent more than double the amount for a week stay just because food and beverages are included, and the type of room will most likely be a tiny garden view. That’s double the amount plus tax. That’s insane! Just cook your own food, buy your own alcohol, make your drink, and once in a while dine out. The experience will be much better and cost effective. Please note Internet service in the island is slow and at times not reliable, both on the Dutch and French side. Good enough to browse, read and send emails. I highly recommend this place and definitely come back to this place in a heart beat! Thank you Jill for making our vacation perfect! Thank you, Gordon for the valuable recommendations."

  • Best you could ask for!

"Three of us stayed in this beautiful two bedroom condo for two weeks! Itis very centrally located in the quaint Creole town of Grand Case, right on the beach! The highlight of the building is the balcony overlooking the beach which runs the width of the three story building. The second and third floor units (we were on the second floor) are completely furnished with table for six, and large lounge area. You can sit out there all day out of the sun if you like, and around 4:00 when the sun starts to come around and it gets hot, you can move out to the balcony on the street side where there is always a lovely breeze and shade at that time of the day, and its a great spot for people watching! The bedrooms are on the street side of the building. One has 2 twin beds and an adjoining shower/sink, while the other has a king bed with ensuite shower/sink, and they are air conditioned with very quiet units. There is only one toilet located between the two bedrooms. The kitchen/sitting room are in between the balcony and bedrooms and face the ocean with sliding glass doors the entire width. There is no a/c in this area however if you open the back french doors you get a nice cross breeze. The kitchen is very well equipped but small. The lower floor is split between and office on the beach side one one side and second bathroom, with a shower on the balcony for washing the sand off. There is also a shared laundry room located in the back. There is a small wooden deck off the front with stairs down to the beach. Beach chairs and towels are provided as well as all other linens. There is also a charcoal Weber grille for your use on the deck. The beach is very quiet, at times we were the only people there. The sand is fine and white and the water perfect for swimming because this area of the bay is protected so there are no big waves. The view if the entire bay is fantastic. There is one parking spot per unit off street which is great because the street is one lane, one way and parking is hard to come by, especially in the evenings when the shops and fabulous French restaurants open and the tourists from all over the island flood in. The building is very clean and well maintained. It is secured from the street and beach sides with locking iron gates and has a security system, as well as metal roll down shutters across the beach balconies. There is satellite TV however there are only French channels. The wifi reception is pretty good but can be a bit"

  • This is it!

"We had a fabulous vacation in St. Maarten and this property was excellent. The view was spectacular and the home was very well appointed. We could not have asked for a better experience. The owner was wonderful to work with and had great recommendations for activities. We were traveling with our teens and they loved all the room this property offered. We would absolutely return and stay here. One of the many advantages is the location--we traveled all over the island and enjoyed all St. Maarten has to offer. Thank you Owners for taking such pride in your home and allowing others to share."

  • Magnifique!

"C'etait vraiment parfait, avec une vue extraordinaire. We had a wonderfully relaxing visit and enjoyed cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen. We've already booked our return visit in a couple of months!! A few things to be aware of: - It's on the top floor, so you need to be able to climb a lot of stairs - The internet is manageable, but not quite fast enough to work remotely - The building is a little run down, but the condo itself is amazing Martine and her husband are both so helpful and friendly!!"

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
