  • A Superbowl, birthday and an Anniversary

"Location, Location, Location The apartment was very nice, excellent view and nice amenities. We stayed on the island for 9 days/7 at this location. We walked down to the bakery got pastries and bread to enjoy each day. The market was just a little father to load up on everything you would need. The beach was nice I would suggest walking to the other area just a little farther down. Great bars and restaurants in walking distance also. If you want you really do not need to leave the Marigot area. Jean Pierre was very pleasant and helpful with a wealth of information. The air conditioning was excellent however the breeze was outstanding so you could enjoy the sound of the waves. The apartment was modern and clean nice beach towels and plenty of nice seating on the beautiful deck we will be back however we would stay for two weeks at this location next time!"

  • Beautiful Condo

"This penthouse condo is a true penthouse, we did have the best of views! Panoramic views. It includes two indoor jacuzzi tubs, three showers and hot tub outside. Bath and bedrooms are very large, and could easily accomodate 8. Furniture is comfy and very nice. The condo is well furnished, well stocked with cleaning products, bedding, comfortable beds, lots of towels, beach towels as well. Hair appliances. We met the cleaning staff and they are very nice also. The only issue was with the pool not being useful for the majority of our stay, however this was being fixed whilst we were there. Security is very friendly at the gate. Also do not expect interaction with other condo guests, we barely seen anyone anywhere. Very close to Maho (walking distance) as well as Maho and Mullet Beach. Maho has a great grocery store with good prepared food as well for very cheap. There is a casino in Maho and a few clubs. We found club scene to be very young. Would highly recommend this location and the owners Ron and Susan as they are quick to respond and trustworthy."

  • Spacious with beautiful views!

"We visited St Marteen over the Christmas holidays and had a great time. The island of course is beautiful with many options for spending a day on the beach with endless opportunities for water fun. The condo itself was large and has amazing views, especially the afternoon that we were lucky enough to see a rainbow out on the horizon toward St Bart's. With two couples it was the perfect choice for privacy, with each couple enjoying their own bathroom and balcony, and for being together in the common areas for meals or playing a game. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We had a couple of hiccups with maintenance issues but the staff and owner were extremely responsive once made aware and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. These things unfortunately can happen but the response to our concerns was the key to saving the trip! We would highly recommend the 6 hour snorkel boat trip out of Oyster Bay with Captain Alan's team. Our captain for the day was Francois and we were lucky to spend the day with him and his top notch first mate. On our Capt Alan's trip we saw sea turtles, barracuda, conch shells and much more plus got to visit Creole Rock and Pinel Island. Mullett Bay was our favorite snorkeling spot on the island. That is where we saw tons of fish, plus sharks, rays and even an octopus. Snorkeling was great around the Tiki Hut, although we swam out from the Little Bay Beach rather than paying to go to the Hut itself. My husband also went scuba diving twice with Scuba Fun Dive Center. A great experience for him while finishing his certification. Great dinner spots of Pineapple Pete's, SkipJacks and many more but our favorite was at Le Soleil in Grand Case on the French side. It was one of the best meals any of us could remember and our server Coco was a delight! Best value we found on food was at the Sunset Bar and Grill right by the airport which offered an opportunity for food and drinks while watching spectators get blown away by the jets as they took off. We would recommend both St Marteen and this condo as we had an exceptional week over all and would love to return one day!"

"We just returned from 7 Beautiful Sun filled days at Delphine's wonderful studio. This was our third stay at Orient Village, the previous two were at a hotel and this was far superior. There is grocery store and an awesome French Bakery with in a very short distance from her location. Everything was very clean and neat! The small kitchen area is equipped with everything you need to cook a meal. We spent most of our days on the Beautiful beach and it was so nice to come back to our own place. I would highly recommend this studio and we will definitely be back soon! The French people and the local restaurants create an atmosphere you are bound to Love! Thanks Delphine for your kindness!!"

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
