  • Wonderful place!

"We stayed at Studio Pinel for 1 week. Before arrival everything was very good arranged with Bruno by e-mail. After arrival he was very welcoming and gave us advice about places to go. The studio was very clean, and candles against mosquitos were there too. The view is amazing! Waking up every day with such a beautiful view is part of the fun. Heaving breakfast on the veranda en paddling on the paddle boards and canoes was great! The water is not deep enough for swimming, but many other beaches are great to do that. Pinel island is very close by canoe, and it's easy to get around the island by car. It was great fun to use the jacuzzi on the beach, that's special. Cooking is possible in the kitchen, supermarkets are in the village. Many restaurants in the area too, with the pizza place very close to the studio. It's peaceful and quiet in the area. We definitely recommend staying here. If we come back to St Martin, we will stay at Studio St Martin again. St Martin over all was very much worth visiting."

  • A wonderful vacation!

"Thank You so much to two wonderful people, Sylvie and Bruno; who were very kind, friendly and amazing hosts. Our summer vacation couldn't be any better without having your wonderful, comfortable, well decorated studio. We spent ten days in St Maarten and having your place for our comfort was the key component to an enjoyable vacation. We were very happy and satisfied with the studio. The amazing experience of waking up in the morning looking right at ocean from our balcony was so awesome. Listening to the sound of the waves and the beauty of colors of the ocean is just an unforgettable experience. Thank you again, Sylvie and Bruno for making our stay pleasant and easy for the two of us. You both are amazing people and hope to see you in the near future. Keep up the nice friendly smiles and good hearts... Carlos and Ron"

  • Fabulous 3 bdrm townhouse--pictures as advertised!

"We had a family baby moon to St. Maarten, and needed a place for my husband and I, his parents, and his sister. This 3 bedroom 2 bath townhouse was just perfect! The descriptions as you see online are spot on. It is in a developing subdivision, so some of the road to the house is still dirt, but all cars/suvs can handle it. Property was clean, well-maintained, and everything was nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were spacious. The outdoor shower was a plus! The outdoor dining table was fabulous, even in the brief rain we had (which we were dry from). The pool was refreshing every day, after time on the beach. The house is set on a hill, so the carport is at the top, and you walk down stairs into the house, and then downstairs in the house to the main living area/kitchen, and master bath/bedroom. The entrance level has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. This house would be difficult for anyone who cannot manage stairs well, but it has a priceless view :) The small beach near the house/new Indigo Bay development had hardly anyone on it and TONS of shells! :) Kokomo had just opened for the season so we did not have a chance to try it, but it looked lovely. There was a grocery store (Super U) just a few minutes away, and there were several good restaurants also within 10 mins. We found the location convenient to go either direction on the island--into Phillipsburg and up the east side of the island, or go over to Simpson Bay or Marigot, and up to the west side of the island. Plenty to do nearby, and other areas are within an hour drive. The owners, Rick & Patricia, were so welcoming and friendly--they answered any questions we had, and helped us feel right at home. They helped us from the airport to getting the rental car (if you want to sightsee, you do need a car), as well as made sure we could return to the airport easily. They pointed us to a great boat to charter, with Pascal, and ultimately we all went together. We loved our day on the water with them :) Overall, this is a fabulous place to either getaway and stay put, with a beach nearby, or to be near a lot of interesting things to do on St Maarten. Win-win!"

  • Private, modern treasure

"My boyfriend and I spent the perfect weekend here. The place was clean, modern, well furnished, private, and beautifully landscaped. Philippe was very accommodating and helpful, but left us to our privacy as soon as we were settled. A grocery store was in walking distance, and we enjoyed cooking breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen and eating on the porch (with a beautiful view!) every morning. Traveling to meet friends in Simpson Bay or Maho was a breeze - the cab was about $15 for two people combined, but we walked to restaurants and bars in the area as well. For a couple or individual looking for a special spot, I can't recommend this place enough. We wish we could have stayed longer, and would definitely return."

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
