  • Spectacular

"Villa Cote Sud was a spectacular place to stay in St. Martin. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this our stay. We arrived on a late flight and was met at the villa by Greg who showed us around and where everything was located in the home. Everything worked perfect, from the appliances in the kitchen to all the electronics. There was English and French satellite TV (which I actually had fun watching as I'm learning French currently). The location is perfect. It's close to a grocery store that has everything you need, and it feels like it is literally 10 minutes away from everything, including Orient Beach, Anse Marcel, and Grand Case. Oh, and who can complain about having a private pool?! This is my #1 choice for any return to St. Martin and it makes me sad because now all the reviews are so positive, it may be hard to book, but that's for a reason. it IS the perfect place to stay. Thanks Gilles and Daphne!"

  • Great beachfront location

"We were looking for an up to date, well maintained location with easy access to the beach. We were not disappointed, as this rental was all of that and more. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The unit is secure, well maintained and has a great kitchen. It was so easy to walk in from the beach to grab a snack and be able to walk right back out. The beach is large, clean and quiet. On most days we felt like we were the only ones out there. The water was calm, free of seaweed and no rocks to worry about. We took our 14 year old and the three of us had plenty of room. The local cell phone, wifi and internet phone that were included were all a plus. The property manager did a great job in the 'orientation', giving us many valuable tips for enjoying the island and getting settled (groceries, dining, excursions, etc.)."

  • Wonderful Villa and Location

"We rented this Villa for a two week family vacation. (6 adults). The villa was exactly as pictured. It was clean, well appointed and very nicely decorated. We were especially pleased to learn it has a backup water reserve tank. (As the island does lose water from time to time.) The two dedicated parking spots were a wonderful bonus. The fenced and gated pool and entertaining area gave us the option to stay around the pool and relax with our family; however all of Orient Bay is just a short walk away. Bruno and Sylvie are wonderful hosts. We will be back!"

  • It's all about the view!

"This condo is very well situated in Grand Case, directly on the beach, with a view that you can't help but look at as you enjoy sitting on the patio. My husband and I spent every morning and night here, listening to soft jazz and sipping our wine. The location is ideal if you plan to spend a lot of time dining at any of the fantastic restaurants in town. We were also fortunate to enjoy Mardi Gras on Tuesday night in town, which is a great sight to see! We did rent a car from the nearby Econo Cars, which was very convenient. Beware that many roads are narrow and there is quite a bit of traffic. Parking is limited, but we always managed to find a spot with little difficulty. Having a car is essential if you plan on exploring all that the island has to offer. Some highlights that I recommend are a visit to the Loterie Farm, the Butterfly Farm and a short ferry trip to Pinel Island. I think it's important to note that a couple of details were overlooked, specifically: the street address given to us by the owner was incorrect and the name of the condo complex was not provided ahead of time (which resulted in a very aggravated taxi driver and several stressful moments at the start of our vacation) and there was an undesirable odor in the kitchen area that may have been from a pet being in the unit previously (although it dissipated when the patio door was open). On a final positive note, the property manager (Anna) was prompt, friendly and very helpful. And, when it was important to reach the owner for clarification about the unit number/location, she was very responsive, which we greatly appreciated."

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
