  • Even Exceeded Expectations

"We loved staying at the gorgeous villa and in this area....convenient to restaurants, beaches, etc. It was every bit as beautiful as the pictures. Our two daughters (ages 17 and 23) were with us and appreciated the speedy internet. After all day on the beach, it was lovely to dip in our quiet, private pool before leaving for fantastic dinners in the area. I highly recommend and even hope to stay again this spring!"

  • Kavuliak Family

"This was our third time at Aquazen in less than three years (family of 5 with children ages 11, 8, and 5). We had again a great time. We like the house layout and modern furnishings (you can tell that Christian's wife is a designer) and its location on the water. There are little things that make this house special. Our kids love sleeping in the loft, we play games on the deck outside with beautiful views of the bay, my wife and I enjoy nespresso coffee machine for our morning dose of caffeine, Philippe is always willing to help, and I enjoy talking to Christian, the owner, when he comes to visit. The house is conveniently located with an easy access to stores, Orient beach and Grand Case (my favorite restaurant destination). It is amazing that such a small town can offer so many great culinary destinations. Unlike our last trip, this time wind was not too strong and we were able to kayak to Pinel island every day. We also had fun practicing on paddle board. For us beginners, it is great that the bay is protected and has almost no waves. Visiting St. Martin over New Year and staying at Aquazen has become a tradition for us. We are already looking forward to our next year’s trip back"

  • The perfect place

"We have been to St Martin several times, and stayed at different locations each time. This was by far the best place. As soon as we opened the door to this villa we fell in love. The view is spectacular - and the covered deck runs the full length of the unit. Never needed the A/C, lots of fans and ocean breezes, and it was lovely to go to sleep with the sounds of the waves and the tree frogs. Coral Shores is a great little complex. Beautifully landscaped - flowers everywhere, and the pool is gorgeous - and not at all crowded. Plenty of lounges, with sun or shade. Well stocked villa, with everything you need - blender for those tropical drinks, gas grill, even binoculars for observing the boats going by. Very nice housekeeping staff who meet you and explain everything you need to know, and they keep the unit very clean. Already thinking about when we can return."

  • Chez SoColisa is AMAZING!

"There are so many things that are GREAT about this place, I hardly know where to start. It was everything that was promised and then some. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Linda who is the owner's agent/concierge. She had stocked the condo in advance of our arrival with all of the items we had asked for. She patiently and thoroughly explained everything we'd need to know about the condo, the building amenities, and the area. (She also can schedule excursions, tours, activities, etc.) The owner had left us a kind welcoming gift and a nice note as well. The pictures don't fully capture the beauty of the condo, The Cliff property, and the numerous amenities available. Unless you live in a million dollar condo overlooking the Caribbean Sea, you will be awestruck. The staff at The Cliff was always helpful and we were always greeted with a genuine smile by the front desk personnel. The housekeeper, Marcia, was a lovely person and by the end of our stay we felt a real attachment to her. The vehicle that was included in the rental was in excellent condition and use of a free cell phone was a bonus. The condo has two phone lines, one local and one free international. The furnishings were modern, the beds comfortable, and the complimentary coffee machine was great. Fred, the owner, was a great person to work with and was always available if we had a question or a concern from the time we made our deposit until after we had returned home. The location of the condo is probably one of the best on the Dutch side. It is a quick drive to Marigot for morning croissants or a gourmet lunch, about half an hour to Philipsburg for shopping, five minutes to Maho Beach or a five minute walk to Mullet Bay beach. Porto Cupecoy with its lovely restaurants and grocery is a five minute drive as is Blue Mall. The Cliff has its own private beach as well. Its size varies with the currents but the cliffs are beautiful and there is a large cave in the cliff if shade is more to your liking. All-in-all I feel very fortunate to have been able to experience this place in the way that we did. When we return to St. Maarten, we will definitely be staying at Chez SoColisa."

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
