  • Private paradise indeed!

"My boyfriend and I just returned from a week at the villa and we had a fantastic time. From the first interaction, the whole process was simple and easy: the contract, making the payment online in USD, they provided a travel kit of information on things to do and see, places to eat, maps, etc. The view is stunning, and though there is a main road that you can see from the patio, it really doesn't affect the privacy at all. It was easy to get to anywhere on the island from there within 30 minutes. The pool/patio area was maintained on the days that we were out of the villa midday, which was perfect. There were lots of animals around which we took the opportunity to feed while we were there: a dog, a couple of cats and a monkey! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thanks, Janet!"

  • All we can say is WOW!

"What a spectacular villa. From the moment we drove through the impressive entry gates and walked through the front door, we knew that we had arrived at some place special. As we entered the front door, we were greeted by Heather & Aldrin with cool, scented towels, which were amazingly refreshing after our cross country journey to get there. But then it got even better. Walking down the stairs (which are covered with a glass ceiling) and stepping in to the main salon, we were captivated by the sweeping sea view and the expansive outdoor terraces. Although the pictures on-line are beautiful, they don't begin to compare to the reality of being there in person. The villa is furnished with impecable taste. We have rented other villas in the past which were nice, but they did not have the same level of sophistication as Mille Fleurs. We were impressed with the furnishings in each of the bedrooms and the beautiful artwork everywhere. We were told that the villa dates back to the late 80s. But with its French Colonial style and grand spaces, it feels like it has been there much longer. It looks and feels exactly like what you would expect a grand old Caribbean home to be like. There were eight in our party and with all the various sitting areas around the pool, it was easy to find your own space to relax or read a book by yourself if you wanted. Of course, our favorite place to be was in the infinity-edged pool watching the boats go by during the day and the amazing sunsets in the evening. Watching the big cruise ships glide past the villa in the evening with their lights on was also a sight to behold. We were pampered all week by Heather who does an amazing job maintaining the villa. And Aldrin does a great job maintaining the gardens--which are extensive (the property is over two acres). He was very nice and we ejoyed talking gardening stories with him. We had some wonderful meals at some great restaurants (Tropicana was our favorite), but to be honest, our favorite meals were the ones we prepared and enjoyed together at the villa. The dining table is outside under a covered roof and we enjoyed dining alfresco in the warm evening air. The week went by much too quickly. And as we were saying our goodbyes to Heather & Aldrin, we wished that we could have had more time to enjoy Mille Fleurs and this wonderful island. We're already thinking about our return."

  • Great, Great, Great!

"We stayed Oct 15-19 2014 and can't say enough about the condo, the property or the experience. From the accommodations to the view to the location, I can't imagine a better place to stay on St. Martin. First, the condo is beautiful. High end finishes, and everything (I mean everything) you could ever need - there was even a coffee grinder! Very comfortable. The condo overlooks Dawn Beach and is centrally located to get from one place to the next - we spent time in Orient Beach, Marigot, Grand Case, etc. Every time we came back to the condo, it felt like we were coming home. So relaxing! The owners are super attentive and provided great recommendations - thanks Rick & Barbara! We will definitely be back!"

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
