"This place is a modern, beautifully decorated , spacious condo located in Cupecoy! The pictures of the condo are 100% accurate and do not do any justice to the actual views which are simply stunning!!! It has 2 balconies with unobstructed views of the front of the building (entrance to the gated property) and the back (ocean view). The highlights of the property are the WiFi, a cell phone for use, surround sound system, flat screen TVs, fully equipped kitchen, tennis court, pool, gym, and day spa. Cannot say enough about the location!!! Location is everything as they say and this condo is in the perfect spot! Located on the Dutch side of the island but easily accessible to the French side, Airport is 10 minuets away, Maho (restaurants, shops, bars, Casino Royale) is 5 minuets away, Atlantic Casino & Temptation Restaurant (one of our favorite spots for dinner) are walking distance across the street, The Blue Mall & a grocery store is 2 minuets away, the Mullet Bay Golf Course (and Mullet Bay Beach) is 3 minuets away. The cherry on top? The condo comes with an available rental car (Unheard of!! Great amenity!!) for use so feel free to explore the island! We did and we fell in love with Pinel Island (accessible by ferry $10 RT). St. Maarten is a great island to visit because it can be relaxing, while still being entertaining. If you are not a 'beach person' for example, there is still a ton of other activities to do on this particular island. There are a lot of options in terms of entertainment. All-in-all a must stay! The owner of this condo is incredibly accommodating! We had a fantastic time in St. Maarten! A beautiful island with friendly people. You will definitely enjoy yourself!"Guest: S.J. "We want to tell you how much we enjoyed and loved living in your condo space. its so pretty, the views, OMG , I miss having my morning tea on the balcony and watching the cruise ships go into port every day. We had the best time. So loved our stay on the island. You were right the best beach is around the corner , Mullet Bay, we went there twice, along with Orient Beach, Baie Rouge ( pretty but too rought ) had a lovely walk along it, and we enjoyed the beach in Philipsburg with shopping in between of course. We enjoyed all our dining experiences, everything was just perfect. The weather, HOT HOT HOT, someday we were grateful for a few clouds to give us a break for a few minutes. Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us. We hope we can go back in the future."Guest: Traveler Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 16, 2014View listing
"Completely agree with the previous review: this is one of the few times a place turned out to be even better than the photos. Stayed just shy of a week with some friends and it was hard to walk away from the house each day. Amazing views, spacious house, clean, and the pool - the pool is just an incredible addition. We got lots of recommendations from the rental manager and she was very easy to work with, not to mention quick to respond to each inquiry. The property manager was friendly, offered to drive us into town the first night for groceries, and gave us a phone to call him if we needed anything. Being way up on a hill has the advantage of feeling remote from everything - but it was a short drive to anything we needed. You can walk to bars, beach, restaurants in about 20 mins. Just be prepared for a steep hike back up. But any cab driver can take you up for a few dollars. Everything about our stay here was perfect. We will definitely stay at Casa Linda when (not if) we go back."Guest: Dan Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 4, 2014View listing
"My wife and I returned to spend another anniversary on the island. Just like the first time, it was perfect! The unit, the property, staff, weather and island....perfect! I would just like to thank Scott, again for sharing what he has. I'd also like to thank Mary for making everything go smoothly. We'll be back again...maybe not next year...but we'll be back."Guest: Anthony B. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 4, 2014View listing
St Maarten Travel Tips
St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday
Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.
The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging
Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.
St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio
A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.
Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts
St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
