"We stayed at Studio Pinel for 1 week. Before arrival everything was very good arranged with Bruno by e-mail. After arrival he was very welcoming and gave us advice about places to go. The studio was very clean, and candles against mosquitos were there too. The view is amazing! Waking up every day with such a beautiful view is part of the fun. Heaving breakfast on the veranda en paddling on the paddle boards and canoes was great! The water is not deep enough for swimming, but many other beaches are great to do that. Pinel island is very close by canoe, and it's easy to get around the island by car. It was great fun to use the jacuzzi on the beach, that's special. Cooking is possible in the kitchen, supermarkets are in the village. Many restaurants in the area too, with the pizza place very close to the studio. It's peaceful and quiet in the area. We definitely recommend staying here. If we come back to St Martin, we will stay at Studio St Martin again. St Martin over all was very much worth visiting."Guest: Lis Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: November 21, 2014View listing
"My wife and I have been to St. Maarten many times but we've always stayed on the Dutch side. For this trip my wife wasn't coming so I decided to try the French side. This condo proved to be the perfect spot for a great vacation. To begin with, Jay is the perfect owner/host. He has great communication and, in addition, provides a wealth of information about the condo, the local restaurants and shops, places of interest, the entire island. Following Jay's suggestion, I ate at several restaurants I'd never been to and they were exceptional. Make sure to try Le Cottage and Bacchus...tell them Jay sent you and you'll get phenominal treatment. The view from the condo is unsurpassed. You're looking out the glass door across the Caribbean to Anguilla. The condo itself felt safe and quiet. You can go out the back and walk down the beach to a variety of restaurants. The back bedroom is a little tight and and has a pullout sofa but since I was alone, I used it to store my luggage. That bedroom does get a little street noise but it's not bad. The front bedroom gets the sound of the surf lapping on the beach. The condo isn't huge but plenty big for 2-4 people. The kitchen has everything you need. If you have any challenges you can call Anna, the property manager and she's minutes away. I had zero problems during my stay. My thanks to Jay for a wonderful time. I hope to return soon."Guest: Todd R. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 3, 2014View listing
"The location of this rental is wonderful because it is close to Grand Case and lots of great restaurants, and the beach access is great! We found the studio exactly as described and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed (coffee pot, toaster oven, clothes drying rack, and even some mosquito candles), and there were even a few helpful books about the island. Although we only used it to check our flight status, there is wifi and TV too. We had a great time, and there were some nice aspects of the place that definitely helped make our stay better. They have beach chairs and a mini cooler available for use, and even a short beach chair that we took with us for a day at Happy Bay. We saw the owners Nicole and Daniel a few times during out stay, and they were very attentive and sincere about making sure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Anna is also very helpful and accommodating. We paid for an additional cleaning during our extended stay, and she was great to make sure the day was convenient for us. There is parking, but it can be a pain to get a spot. The location really is great, but it is not ideal walking on the street in the evening. Overall, it is a great value for the price, and I'd recommend this to couples."Guest: Teresa G. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 20, 2014View listing
