  • Best Vacation Ever

"The location is awesome...far enough from Boardwalk for privacy and quiet, but close enough to access when needed. The grounds are manicured perfectly and villa is very clean and in ideal location. Although we expected nothing but the best, our visit still a exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was there to include grocery shopping just out our back door. We actually had dozens of people walking the beach by the Villa that were wanting information about these villas. We will definately come back here again. The property management does a terrific job to make certain all needs are met."

  • Private paradise indeed!

"My boyfriend and I just returned from a week at the villa and we had a fantastic time. From the first interaction, the whole process was simple and easy: the contract, making the payment online in USD, they provided a travel kit of information on things to do and see, places to eat, maps, etc. The view is stunning, and though there is a main road that you can see from the patio, it really doesn't affect the privacy at all. It was easy to get to anywhere on the island from there within 30 minutes. The pool/patio area was maintained on the days that we were out of the villa midday, which was perfect. There were lots of animals around which we took the opportunity to feed while we were there: a dog, a couple of cats and a monkey! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. Thanks, Janet!"

  • Romantic Getaway

"My husband and I recently stayed at this beautiful condo on Nettle Bay. We were greeted by Elisa, Condo Manager, who was very pleasant and helpful. The condo itself is nicely located near the very end of the beach, close to the ocean. The sound of the waves and the wind off the Bay were very healing. The condo itself was well appointed and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Located between Maho and Marigot, this property is perfect for venturing out for dinner or shopping. There are also three fabulous restaurants at the other end of the beach which we walked daily. We would highly recommend this property for a relaxing, romantic getaway."

  • Enjoyable week

"Excellent value. Except for the steep flight of steps leading from the bedroom level to the living area level, this villa was a great choice of accommodation for us. Five adults needed a place where we could relax, prepare and enjoy our meals, and be close to Philipsburg. We got that here, with a spectacular view included. The configuration of the bedrooms is not as stated on this site, however the owner Gary will provide the correct breakdown. We didn't use the 4th bedroom, which is attached to the villa, but has a separate entrance that opened to the front visible from the street, as opposed to rear opening accessing the kitchen if total property was being utilized by one family. Villa was more than large enough for the 5 of us. Pros: More than enough towels, both bath and beach. Spacious stocked kitchen including dishwasher. Washer and dryer. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning worked well. The sun was hot enough so the pool wasn't cold. Cons: Tiles in bathrooms are really really slippery. Don't know if that was caused by moisture or whatever was used to clean. Despite a mat being on the floor, one of the ladies took a nasty tumble. The DVD player hooked up to the surround sound system worked well for music, however DVDs show in black&white. New cables/hookup needed. Since the furniture is dark colored, it attracts mosquitoes. Don't forget your bug repellant. The price of rental includes 1 visit from a cleaning lady and a pool attendant. Neither showed up to clean anything. I spoke to the property manager twice who promised that a cleaning lady would come by. On Friday I gave up on seeing her. We were leaving the next day anyway. We kept the place clean, however the garbage was overflowing the outside can and reeking because of the shrimp shells in the bags. Villa needs to have a phone available just for local calls so folks don't have to pay roaming charges on their foreign accounts. All in all, this is a good place to hang out for a week or so. A car is necessary though because exploring the French side is a must. The directions from the airport to the villa that the owner gave me were easy and precise. Supermarkets close by for all your needs. Casinos and beach close by on Front Street in Philipsburg."

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
