  • Wonderful stay at Porto Cupecoy

"We stayed at Savana while visiting our parents who own a condo at Porto Cupecoy. This condo is beautifully furnished, very relaxing and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. The terrace with the marina view is great with gentle breezes blowing. Porto Cupecoy offers so many amenities with several restaurants and grocery store near by as well as a beautiful pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Savana."

  • Excellent villa experience

"We had very high expectations from the reviews on VRBO and all the nice pictures, but as hard as it might sound: Being there tops it all. The location of the villa made this such a perfect 10 days of relaxation, enjoying the sun and really enjoying the paradise above, beneath and all around you. We cannot wait to come back and spend more time on Saint Martin and a lot of this is because of the good time we had in this villa. Hope we find a similar place one day on the island to own ourselves."

  • Fantastic stay- worth my first review!

"This stay was beyond expectations!!! We stayed 6/29-7/5/14. This was our first time using VRBO, so we were a little nervous. However, Veronique was incredibly accommodating! The directions to the villa were exact, and the villa itself was just as the pictures promised. In addition, Veronique provided surprises to welcome us to the villa on our arrival. The place has an open-air environment; so much so, we only closed the wall of windows and the front door while we were sleeping or gone. Be aware that there are only showers and sinks in all bedrooms except the master. The guest bedrooms use toilets in the hallways, but that was not a problem for our group. The house has plenty of areas for sun and shade with a lovely constant breeze. The infinity pool is a great size and temp. The villa has snorkel gear as well as kayaks. We used the kayaks frequently to travel (15 minutes max) to Pinel Island for fresh grilled lobster (we literally picked the lobsters from a cage in the sea) and to tour the island. The food was some of the best I have ever eaten. Most of the places took such pride in the presentation of the meals. We ate most dinners in Grand Case (L'Auberge Gourmand and Le Cottage were our favorites!!! We did have a few minor issues. There was a plethora of mosquitos, but the St. Martin people are very used to it. We took plenty of bug spray, and Veronique provided a moderate amount of spray and precautions for us too. Another issue was lack of TV. We were there during the World Cup and were hoping to watch it from the villa, but the TV did not work the entire week we were there. Lastly, there is Wifi, but it is rather weak in the villa. One must stand in a certain corner of the villa to get any access. Overall, this was an amazing trip. I don't typically want to go back to the same places, but I would go back to Villa Pinel in a heartbeat!"

  • WOW!

"Villa Incognito was awesome. The location is absolutely perfect, about a 8-10 mins drive from the airport and close to everything. We did a scuba tour that was located about 1 mile from the house, and we did a sailing trip that was located about 2.5 miles away. There is grocery stores nearby, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The house is right on the water, so you have your own private beach (a little rocky), but you can snorkel from there and the water is nice and clear and warm. The house is beautiful and so well equipped, it has all high-end appliances, washer, dryer, dishwasher, etc. Tons of condiments tea, all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, strainers, Ziploc containers, everything you can think of. I’ve been to many home/condo rentals in the Caribbean (all of which were fantastic), but I have to say this one is the one that was the most well-equipped. They even had sunscreen and bug spray there for you to use. Also a bbq grill and swimming pool made for an excellent poolside bbq evening. Overall, great place, hope to come back again in the future."

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
