"Based upon reviews, initially I was excited about the studio, and a little concerned about the location and parking. However, the location is perfect and parking was not an issue- there are two parking lots, each well lighted after dark. This was the fourth trip, in the past six years, to St. Martin for my husband and me, and we have rented a condominium or villa during each trip; this is the location I would return to! The view from the patio is lovely and the close proximity to beaches, restaurants, and markets is beneficial. We rented a car as we like to traverse various beaches around the island, and I would recommend that visitors also rent a car- there is so much to see and do on St. Martin/Sint Maarten! The studio is packed with everything needed to cook and relax. The beautiful kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, utensils, a coffee maker… the list goes on and on. The bathroom has a washing machine and there is ample room and sun to quickly dry clothes. The bed is more than comfortable, and the convenience of cable TV, wireless internet, and a safe are extras that are appreciated! I would be remiss if I did not mention that a warm baguette can be purchased each morning from the market at the entrance to the studios- a true treat! Though I speak no French, and Patricia, the local manager speaks little English, obtaining the keys was easy. Patricia was waiting for us as we pulled up, and was available when needed. Additionally, Joanna, the owner promptly responded to emails when arranging the rental, before, and during our 10 days in paradise. Hope to return soon!"Guest: Kelly I. "My husband and I arrived at this beautiful villa for the 2nd week of our 2 week vacation stay in June 2013. Joelle had left a note for us to call, as she didn't know what time to expect us. She arrived right away, and showed us through the fantastic villa, explaining everything as she went. She very thoughtfully stocked the fridge with all of the essentials, which came in very handy. We loved the incredible views, and the villa was simply magnificent. The pool with the lights that changed colors was quite a surprise as well. The openness of the villa was great, and since the gate was locked, we just left everything open, even at night. The kitchen was well stocked, though I would suggest the addition of a blender (more of an American thing, as we like our frozen drinks). Shower was incredible, and all linens, etc. were good quality. Our only issues were that we had problems with the safe now working, and were not made aware of the location of the washer/dryer, so we did not get to use either. Joelle and Tony's granddaughter was sick and in the hospital at the time, so we did not want to bother them to ask. Looking forward to another great stay as soon as possible. Thank you again for your hospitality!"Guest: DeLinda G. Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 14, 2014View listing
"We rented "Lena's Beach Condo" for 2 weeks and it was exactly as advertised. We also rented from her last year and had no issues. I understand about peoples reluctance to wire money in advance but everything was fine. The suite is very clean and everything functioned as it should. We had a little effort to figure out how to run the washing machine because the instructions are in French but after some time we figured it out. The view from the condo is beautiful just like her pictures look. The pool has been updated with a new liner. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes but it is a little steep. Parking is busy in the lot closest to the condo but plan on parking below by the tennis courts. It is a little walk up hill but their is usually plenty of room. We had a very enjoyable time in the condo. It is as advertised. We plan on coming back again next year!"Guest: Chuck and Sherry Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 3, 2014View listing

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging
Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.
St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio
A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.
Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts
St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
