"My husband and I had the best vacation ever at this rental property. Daniel and JF are amazing hosts. So friendly and helpful. The apartment is perfect. Beautiful sea view. Relaxing. I had a scuba diving accident and had to delay my return flight for a few days. No problem as Daniele kindly offered to have me stay with her and JF. Amazing hosts. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RENTAL. My husband and I cannot wait to return again."Guest: jennifer b. Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: January 21, 2014View listing
"We could not have picked a more perfect place for our group of 8 adults (three families, all related). Perfect style-casual & comfortable; perfect layout-open & easy; perfect setting-gorgeous views & superbly located. Daphne was a pleasure to work with, as were Ken, Catherine and Catherine's assistant. As to the VRBO review questions: the listing description was accurate, the pictures reflect the property (only we think it feels larger than the pictures show), the property was clean and well-maintained (it is a rental property), the owner was more-than-helpful in answering questions (above and beyond), and we would all recommend to family and friends. As for things to do; hanging out at the Villa is hard to beat! We liked Sunset Bar/Maho Beach to watch the planes, snorkeling at Dawn Beach and Mullet Bay Beach. Mr. Busby’s/ Daniel’s was the best food we had - although the service was sub-par all four time we were there... and yes, some of us kept going back! (Note that patrons were visible frustrated with the lack of service, and I have to wonder if this was an anomaly? We did not experience this at any other restaurant.) The Marigot open market was nice and we picked up fresh Mahi-Mahi and Lobster early one morning. Opens at 7AM-go early for fish, and they will hold it for you if you want to shop just a little. I loved the very spicy, delicious, fish tacos at Dinghy Dock (Tue night special), and the 21-year-olds liked the fish & chips, but the "old" guys would not go back for the food! All of these things to do, and places to eat, are so subjective – just suffice it to say that you will not go wrong with Daphne, and her family's little piece of paradise! Can’t thank Daphne, Catherine and Ken enough! Three Families from Minnesota"Guest: Mary Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: March 31, 2014View listing
"This was our 4th time to St. Martin, and have rented different homes each time. This home was BY FAR the best one. Private, Beachfront, Pool, great snorkeling right in front of you. My husband and son spent most of their time snorkeling and then taking a relaxing float in the pool. House is beautiful with all the perfect touches, close to everything we needed. Just an amazing place!! Be back for sure on our 5th visit!"Guest: The Kilmartin's Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 14, 2014View listing
"We recently spent a week at this wonderful studio. It had everything we needed and was modern and up to date. We had several friends visit and thought we had found one of the best places to stay on the Dutch side. It was an easy walk to the beach in front of Ocean Club and their was plenty of sand, plus Danny kept us supplied with food and beverages. The wifi was excellent in the room. We had excellent ribs at the restaurant on site on their Wednesday night special, plus spent several happy hours there. The only thing we were lacking was a BBQ on the deck, but I don't know if this would be possible. I think we could have used one by the pool, but we did not check. We highly recommend this studio and plan to return in the future."Guest: Sandgravity Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 11, 2014View listing

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging
Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.
St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio
A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.
Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts
St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
