  • Indigo Bay

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts (Rick and Patricia Robinson) were very friendly and responsive to any needs we had. They offered to meet us at the airport which is a 10 minute drive from the house. The house is beautiful, and sits overlooking a gorgeous bay (Indigo Bay) with a white sand beach and turquoise water. The view is spectacular, and we spent many hours just sitting looking out over the ocean. The beach is a short (5-10 minutes) walk down the lane, and offers the opportunity to swim, snorkel, and sit in the sun. There is a restaurant on the beach that will provide chairs and an umbrella for a fee (but it is free if you eat there, or do not want to use their chairs and umbrellas). The pool is clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with plates/pans/glasses/silverware/dishwashing soap, etc.) to prepare meals, and we grilled out on the gas grill several nights. There is a clothes washer/dryer with soap. We went to town for shopping and dining on some nights but also enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the sunset while we ate our dinners. The towns are a short drive away from the house, although sometimes there was a fair amount of traffic slowing the movement along the highways. All in all, it was a wonderful vacation, and great place to stay. Thank you Rick and Patricia."

  • Loved St Marteen & this Villa!

"One of the best equipped villas we have rented. An incredible amount of detail was paid. My children (age 11 & 13) have only known gated country club living and were initially taken aback by the neighborhood. However, the next day, they were playing with the neighborhood kids and dog. Christmas Eve, we walked to a nearby church for service. We easily navigated the island - both Dutch and French side. We caught a ferry for a day in Anguilla. We chartered a speedboat w/ a skipper for a day in St. Barths and lunch at Nikki Beach. Each Christmas break, we select a different island to visit. This is one island and villa that I would definitely like to revisit"

  • Great (extended) family vacation!

"We just finished our first stay at this villa and had a wonderful time. Our family vacation comprised 8 adults so we made use of the whole villa both upstairs and downstairs. The villa is nice and clean and beautiful; the pool is clean and inviting and was used every day; the beach really is only a 5 minute walk away; the television had more than enough to keep some of the younger adults happy; and all of us used the WIFI with no issues. The kitchen was well equipped and had an induction stove which was a first for us and we used it often. There were 3 or 4 French coffee/pastry shops on the walk to the beach and we used them frequently. There are 6 or so great restaurants where we ate dinner on two evenings. There is also a very well stocked convenience/grocery store. The beach has great sand and bars/restaurants with clean rest rooms and chairs/umbrellas can be rented from several restaurants ($20 or less for two chairs and an umbrella). We grilled out at the villa twice and we drove to Grand Case (very short ride) on two nights - once to visit the much recommended LOLO named Taste of the Town and then another to visit a French restaurant (of which there are many). We completed every jigsaw puzzle we could find. We met both the owner and property manager and they were very responsive and helpful. Very happy with our choice to stay at this villa! HP"

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
