"Our group of 8 (4 couples) stayed at Casa Azul for a 50th birthday celebration. The view from the villa is amazing. It is a short walk or very quick drive to Bikini Beach and some very good restaurants. The villa is very nice and neatly kept. The kitchen was well stocked. The owner, Veronique, is wonderful. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect... such as securing dinner reservations, setting up a dinner at The villa with a private chef, beach and night life recommendations, stocking the kitchen with goodies for the first day, etc. She quickly responded and followed up on any questions/concerns. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would not hesitate to rent again."Guest: Julia C. Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: February 26, 2014View listing
"A real convenient location for this two storey house just a few minutes drive from the international airport and nested in a lovely secured compound in a spit of land in the lagoon, just across a golf course and next to a water-ski club. You can really trust the pictures as well as the description, when we arrived, we felt somewhere in southern Italy or Spain, so romantic ! White walls, marble on the floor in every room and a charming roof terrace with stunning view. Perfect for the most sporty as well as for the laziest (me) : the large deck is the ideal place to bask in the sun or read on a sun-lounger, between a quick swim in the swimming pool or a little snorkling in the lagoon. The beautiful Mullet beach is just a few minutes away either by kayak through the lagoon or by car. We enjoyed every meal, from early breakfast to late dinner under the gazebo which brings also a pleasant shade in the day when the sun shines too harsh. Kitchen is well-equipped and BBQ on the terrace. All perfectly maintained and neat ! Restaurants, nighlife are also a stone's throw away, although a car is really suitable. The owner François catched us at the airport and found us a car rental at a very moderate price. A perfect week, carefree, so far from everyday worries. Without a moment's hesitation, we can warmly recommend this very charming and cosy property."Guest: Dominique Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 17, 2014View listing
"Pictures are exactly as it appears. The condo is right on the waters edge, I walked out many mornings to put my feet in the water and look out to the beautiful views. This is not a swimming beach, too much seaweed, but it's great for water sports. The complex has it's own jet ski's for rent on site, along with kayaks, paddle boats, etc., at no cost. There is a restaurant, and a beach bar. It's centrally located to both sides of the island and easy to get to phenomonal french restaurants, and beautiful beaches!! Do it, you won't be disappointed!!"Guest: Kelly b. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 23, 2014View listing

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging
Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.
St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio
A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.
Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts
St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
