"I would have to agree with the other reviews. Four of us spent a wonderful week in Van's unit at the Royal Palm. We had the best time during our stay. The location is GREAT...walked to dinner at the Pizza Galley, Lee's, Buccaneer and strolled to the Carousel Gelato shop after dinner one evening. The condo was perfect for us...ground floor walk out to the beach and palapas. We had everything we needed and then some. The cooler on wheels was perfect for keeping our refreshments cold on the beach. We would definitely stay here again."Guest: Bev S. Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 13, 2014View listing
"We have just returned from a wonderfully peaceful week at La Mission. The location is amazing and the house is very comfortable, with everything you need. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise each morning and watching the sunset is the perfect day. For me a trip to the Caribbean is meant to be relaxing and rejuvenating and La Mission makes that possible. Baie Rouge is a wonderful part of the island and almost like having your private beach as it is rare to see anyone on the beach. The staff that maintains the villa are great to work with and really provide wonderful service. It was a fantastic week and we were sad to leave. We'll be back!"Guest: Nycdudie Date of Stay: September 2013 Review Submitted: September 8, 2013View listing
"Accommodations, furnishings, and service great. Stephane and staff very gracious and willing to assist in every way possible. Interesting the service is levels-above what you generally experience in France! Because you are on a resort cut off from access to the local surroundings, expect to pay a premium for meals and food. Some of the facilities on-resort are better values than others. Le Domaine has just opened a beach cabana bar that is very good and a fair value. AVOID "La Table du Marche", an-on site restaurant that's astronomical in price and mediocre at best. Consider renting a car on-site for a very reasonable rate. Stock up at one of the two local "supermarche's" and prepare in your very well furnished kitchen. One day's worth of groceries will more than pay for the rental car. The jet ski tour, while costly, is two-hours long, beautiful, and worth every penny- do it!"Guest: Dan Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: April 3, 2014View listing
"It is an excellent place to stay with kids. The beach, swimming pool and the availability of toys makes it easy for children to enjoy the place."Guest: Jasper O. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 9, 2014View listing

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging
Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.
St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio
A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.
Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts
St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
