  • A little piece of paradise.

"My wife and I spent 2 thoroughly relaxing weeks at this studio. The peace and quiet , only interrupted by the sound of the waves beating the nearby shoreline, and the birdsong, made for a tranquil setting in absolute privacy. The studio itself has all that you need in the way of amenities, and is very clean and orderly. The family are only a step away around the other side of the house , should you need anything at all , or advice. Yves and his son Hugo are a splendid pair of fellows, polite, obliging, and helpful. A car is a must to get around this very pretty Island , with an abundance of beautiful beaches. There is a fine selection of restaurants and bars on both sides of the Island, and the nearby Supermarket abounds with French wines, cheeses, cooked meats and other delicasies. We put the Kayak to good use , paddling over to Pinel Island , and in the evenings took a bottle of wine down to the jetty to watch the sunset. What more can I say. A wonderful and memorable holiday. Denise and Dave, (Trinidad and Tobago.)"

  • La Brise, more than we could of asked for!!!

"If you are looking to renting in St. Maarten, La Brise is the place for you! This home was magnificent, the pictures really don't do it justice. My experience form beginning to end with renting this home has been nothing short of fantastic. Lee, a true professional made my first VRBO rental experience one I will share for years to come. She hands down made myself and my family feel at ease about this sometimes questionable experience when renting abroad. Lee, was easy to talk too and I am sure she is busy, always made me feel that I was a top priority. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the on-site concierge, Rhonda. She greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. We walked through La Brise, the views are magnificent, kitchen amazing, bedrooms (each unique). We couldn't wait to get this vacation started. La Brise for sure met all of our needs. As our first family vacation in awhile, let alone having not lived together in years, La Brise provided that home environment but gave us the space we needed. Perched on top of hill it overlooks the beautiful Oyster Pond. It sits literally on the border of the Dutch/French side. We cooked many family meals, enjoyed cocktails by the pool in day and evening, and quite frankly didn't want to leave. We felt safe as La Brise is gated and the several iguanas we spotted in the trees kept us a ease too:) Overall, I can't say enough great thing about La Brise and its staff. You truly made my Mom's 60th Birthday a memorable one, thank you, thank you. We will be back!!"

  • Third stay here and it's still perfect.

"I am a regular visitor to SXM and consider myself very fortunate to have stayed here three times now. I know that myself and previous reviewers have stated over and over how great this place is, but it can't hurt to mention it again...especially if it's true! From the moment you arrive, it just feels like home. The unit is spotless, the furnishings are modern, tasteful, and comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could need, and having your own washer and dryer is a major plus! Also provided for your use are beach chairs, a cooler, beach towels, and umbrella. The fantastic view and refreshing breezes make the balconies the perfect place for your morning coffee. The location is very quiet and secure, yet close to everything the island has to offer. Beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, clubs, bars, etc are all just a couple minutes away. On top of the condo itself being great, Bruce and Joyce are absolutely fantastic to work with. All communication is friendly and prompt, no question goes unanswered, and you'll feel like you are renting from a friend! Thank you again Bruce, Joyce, and Robert!"

  • Great Stay

"Accommodations, furnishings, and service great. Stephane and staff very gracious and willing to assist in every way possible. Interesting the service is levels-above what you generally experience in France! Because you are on a resort cut off from access to the local surroundings, expect to pay a premium for meals and food. Some of the facilities on-resort are better values than others. Le Domaine has just opened a beach cabana bar that is very good and a fair value. AVOID "La Table du Marche", an-on site restaurant that's astronomical in price and mediocre at best. Consider renting a car on-site for a very reasonable rate. Stock up at one of the two local "supermarche's" and prepare in your very well furnished kitchen. One day's worth of groceries will more than pay for the rental car. The jet ski tour, while costly, is two-hours long, beautiful, and worth every penny- do it!"

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
