  • Amazing Villa and Owner

"We've been to St Martin more than 10 times and this villa is the best place we have stayed so far. The location, view, property and cleanness of the villa are exceptional. Veronique the owner was extremely helpful. We were a big group celebrating my husband's bday and she even recommended a babysitter that turned out to be great. We made a private dinner at the house to celebrate the bday, a party of 18, and she recommended a chef and did not mind having such a big group at the house for the dinner. Also, she left a list of recommendations for places to go during the day and restaurants to have dinner and all were fabulous. Love using the kayaks that come with the house to go to Pinel Island which is truly a paradise. Can't wait to return!! Thanks Veronique for making everything so special!!!"

  • Top Flight Amenities in Quiet Neighborhood near Great Restaurants

"Pros-terrific views; kayaks to get to Pinel Island; designer living space with chef's kitchen; short drive to a bevy of fine dining in Grand Case and Orient Beach; attentive property owner; well-appointed rear deck with private pool Cons-mosquitoes at night; smell from red tide algae due to some unusual late fall weather Upon arrival at Villa Jade, we were met by Julie who explained the many features of this beautiful villa which is even more luxurious than it appears in the pictures, and she had a nice welcome package for us as well. We enjoyed the comforts when we were there, and it was a short car ride to the many French side attractions including the restaurants in Grand Case (5 mins.), Orient Beach (5 mins.) and Marigot (10-15 mins.). In addition, Julie supplies beach chairs to take with and explore the surrounding area, as well as kayaks. My wife and I kayaked for the first time ever rowing out to Pinel Island (it took us ~ 15 mins) but the ferry to Pinel is a short walk up the beach if you prefer. The rear deck is very relaxing and the views off it reminded me of a European village; on a clear night the starscape was amazing if the mosquitoes don't bother you. All told, we enjoyed our time at Villa Jade and I would return if ever again in St. Martin."

  • Amazing !

"What a fabulous vacation home for couples or families! We had a great experience at this home on Memorial Day weekend 2014. House offers a spacious floor plan, breath taking views of the mountains and ocean in a secluded gated community. The amenities were magnificent and private bathrooms were great. We had plenty of space for the 8 of us who stayed there. The housekeeping services were helpful as well. There was plenty of outdoor space including a pool, outdoor dining, and grill. It was located in a convenient location only a short ride from the airport and several beaches. I would highly recommend staying here and experiencing tamarind hill estates for your vacation! What an amazing experience I can't wait to return!"

  • You cannot beat the view or the beach

"My wife and enjoyed Island Mermaid as it is a spectacular condo in an awesome location. The views from the balcony of the passing yachts onto Simpson Bay harbour, hills to the left that remind you of Italy with the colourful villas and a view of the bay all the way to left where you can see the airport. The condo itself is like visiting an art museum, so much eclectic collecting has been done by the owner if it is a rainy day you can still be entertained without leaving. Yes the back alley is another world, nothing but a plus in my mind. If you are new to the caribbean it may be a shock, but for those who know it is a way of life and another experience to enjoy. Roosters and friendly stray dogs provide a nice change form cars and other urban noises and we enjoyed them thoroughly. Walking down the beach to Karaker a converted school bus awesome beach from restaurant was a daily routine if we stayed in Simpson Bay. Not to mention the close proximity to all the restaurants in Simpson Bay made it at ought decision to stay in and cook dinner with a beautiful view from the balcony or head out. So we usually had wine and cheese until sun set and then off to a nice restaurant. Pineapple Petes may have had the best rack of lamb I have ever had. I would absolutely recommend this condo, and if you find anything you don't like stay another week because you are not relaxed enough yet : )"

St Maarten Travel Tips

St. Maarten Resorts Present a Personal Holiday

Do you want a personal stay, where it feels like the owners have set everything up just for you? If you want a kitchen for home-cooked meals, a centrally located home, and the sunrise outside your bedroom window then St. Maarten lodging is precisely what you need. Act now as every year, more and more people find the little gem that holds St. Maarten resorts. You will have your pick of St. Maarten rentals along the coastline on Antilles.

The Antilles and St. Maarten Lodging

Antilles is a large island in the Caribbean waiting to greet you with perfect St. Maarten rentals. The island is owned by the French and the Dutch which peacefully share the land. St. Maarten is the Dutch side of Antilles, which is also the smaller portion of the landmass. The French spelling of St. Maarten is St. Martin, which helps you locate the proper St. Maarten lodging when you plan your vacation. The climate at St. Maarten resorts is a sunny and balmy 80 degrees Fahrenheit virtually year-round, so you can visit at any time of year.

St. Maarten Rentals near Ruby Bute’s Studio

A true delight for many vacationers to St. Maarten rentals is visiting Ruby Bute, one of the most famous island artists. She creates botanical landscapes and images of island life through her paintings and poetry. Her studio and gallery are open in Marigot, north of downtown near Friar’s Bay. You might want to call first to make sure she is welcoming visitors for the day you plan the trip, and bring local currency to come home with one of her reasonably priced prints.

Island Gambling at St. Maarten Resorts

St. Maarten lodging is conveniently located near the island’s 12 casinos. All of these casinos are located on the Dutch side and with gaming in the European mode. Spend your late nights inside the St. Maarten resorts' casinos, and your days along the various beaches.
