  • Stop searching - this is the one!

"We have been vacationing in St. John for several years and have been searching for the perfect villa. We found it in Vista Cielo. From the three master suites to the well appointed kitchen, it has it all. The layout was well planned, allowing for privacy for each of the bedroom suites. The architecture was impressive and designed for privacy outside as well as inside. It has one of the largest pools we've seen, with a breathtaking view. Having Brenda as a local contact for any unexpected needs was a plus, but not necessary as the villa had everything we wanted. The location is ideal - an upscale neighborhood not far from town or the beaches. You will not be disappointed."

  • Wonderful Villa with Everything We Needed!

"My husband and I had a wonderful time at Villa East celebrating our 10th Anniversary. It was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views are unbelievable from the wrap-around balcony and the sliding glass doors that cover two whole sides of the main living area. We enjoyed the kitchen for making quick meals that we could eat out on the balcony. The kitchen had everything we needed, including toaster, blender, coffee maker, stove with oven, microwave, and full sized refrigerator with freezer. The Wi-Fi worked great the entire time we were there. The furniture was comfortable and clean. I felt very at home staying there. The condo is in the perfect location within Point Pleasant because it is the closest unit to the lower pool and Panga’s restaurant, plus just a short walk to Sugar Beach where we snorkeled and saw a sting ray! The unit includes beach towels and 2 beach chairs and even a beach umbrella that we took with us to several of the beaches on both St. Thomas and St. John. Alan sent us numerous maps and lists of helpful information on restaurants, things to do, car rental, etc. before we left. It was like having our own personal travel agent! He was awesome! Fresh bath towels and beach towels were provided for us several times during our stay, and all of the basics were there as well: dish soap, toilet paper, bath soap, shampoo, a hair dryer, and even a curling iron! There was a full sized ironing board and iron. There are hangars in the closet and plenty of empty drawer space to keep your clothes and belongings while you are there. It was great being so close to Red Hook, where we had dinner several nights. We also caught the car barge (ferry) in Red Hook, which took us to St. John for the day. There is a grocery story there as well. We enjoyed Red Hook more than Charlotte Amalie, so we were glad to be just a couple minutes’ drive from it. One night we ordered pizza from a place in Red Hook, which offered free delivery right to the condo. Alan was readily available by text or email whenever we had a question and was extremely helpful in planning our entire trip. I would definitely stay at Villa East again whenever we are back in St. Thomas!"

  • Everything we could ask for

"We were a party of 6 four adults 2 kids, we loved the place! There was lots to do right there at the condo, and we used it as a base for all the wondering around we did on the island. It was clean, comfortable and Minnie was a most gracious hostess. I will definitely recommend it to friends and if we ever get back there, we will happily stay there again."

  • Great Family Vacation

"My family of 5 stayed at Villa Mar De Amores for 8 fabulous days. The house sits high upon the hill with the most gorgeous views of Chocolate Hole. The house is fully equipped with everything you could want or need in a vacation rental. We grilled out almost every evening and enjoyed eating at the outside dining area and admiring the view. Our kids enjoyed the pool while we prepared dinner. We have 3 teenage sons and we had plenty of room in the house. The house is very spacious and a grocery store is not very far from the property. We spent the week exploring beaches and the island and it was all perfect. St. John is definitely a little piece of paradise. I spoke with Claudia several times on the phone before renting and then she was quick to answer any emails I sent to her. She was wonderful to work with. The entire experience of renting, receiving information, etc. was entirely positive. Coolers and beach chairs are available at the house and we packed a picnic lunch everyday and explored a new beach. The only negative thing about the whole trip was having to pack up to come home. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

St. Barthelemy Travel Tips

Seasons to Travel to St. Barthelemy Vacation Rentals

St. Barthelemy is a small horseshoe-shaped island located near St. Maarten in the Caribbean. It is an independent French territory that once was part of Guadeloupe. The island is more often simply referred to as St. Barts or St. Barths. With its location in the Caribbean, it enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. The summer months can get humid and most rainfall occurs during this time of year. Typically, the thunderstorms are intense and short-lived. The sunshine often returns afterward and visitors can enjoy clear skies. Occasional tropical storms can blow through during the late summer months. While it is a destination that is visited all year long, the most popular travel season tends to be between December and April. Many people travel from Europe and North America to escape from colder northern climates. At this time of year, it is also less humid and the days are still enjoyably warm.

VIP Visitors to St. Barthelemy Villas

St. Barths has over the years built a reputation for being one of the elite Caribbean vacation destinations. Perhaps it is because it is fairly remote and not particularly well known that it remains a favorite hideaway for European royalty and Hollywood celebrities. Even relatively early on in its history, the island developed a talent for creating commerce which turned it into a relatively wealthy island compared to many of its Caribbean neighbors. The resorts and vacation homes are exclusive and stylish with hefty price tags to match. If it is a remote and private vacation destination that you are looking for, then it's well worth it.

Top Attractions near St. Barthelemy Resort Rentals

Some of St. Barth's main attractions are its beautiful beaches. The island is volcanic in nature which has resulted in a number of secluded coves and quiet beaches. Never far away are superb restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy some local cuisine. The island is a duty-free tax haven and offers some superb shopping facilities. The main streets are lined with glamorous and designer boutiques showing off all kinds of fashions and accessories. It is somewhere where you can spoil yourself with that pair of designer shoes you have been eying for a while. If you would like to enjoy the azure blue ocean, you can arrange a charter on one of the many luxury yachts moored in the harbor. Cruising around the coastline, you can drop anchor near one of the reefs and spend the day snorkeling and swimming.

Getting to Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Barthelemy

St. Barths has a small airport with a tarmac runway but can only accommodate smaller commercial aircraft. Larger commercial aircraft such as air buses cannot land on the island. For international travelers, you will first travel to the neighboring island of the Dutch-governed St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick 10-minute shuttle flight across to St. Barths. There are several airlines operating shuttle flights, and charter companies are also available for private charter flights. As an alternative routing, you can also fly via Guadeloupe. The regional flight takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on which airline you choose. If charter flights are your preferred way of travel, you can look into routing via the islands of Antigua or San Juan on Puerto Rico. Once on the island, the easiest way to get around is by taxi. Car rentals and chauffeur-driven vehicles are also available. These can be arranged at the airport upon arrival or by contacting a local operator in advance.
