  • Perfect for our family of 4!

"This condo suited our family perfectly! We love Rincon and this is our 3rd time visiting. Both Debora and Lou were amazing hosts, answering our questions and communicating with us throughout, and greeted us upon arrival! The view is amazing! We enjoyed the very quiet beaches near the condo and exploring others by car. The condo was comfortable, clean and the perfect "home base" for our vacation. Looking forward to visiting again! Thank you Debra and Lou!"

  • AMAZING FAMILY VACA & RENTAL EXPERIENCE

"So, not sure where to start here. First of all, Dr. Vic is a TRUE Professional from A to Z. He was a pleasure to deal with and kept the lines on communication open at all times answering all my questions regarding the rental and property. I received confirmation as soon as I paid and Harborside had all my Info that Dr. Vic provided. As far as the Harborside is concerned; the place is amazing. The 2 Bedroom lockoff is a large enough space to fit 2 familes comfortably. Our unit was modern and clean with 2 full kitchens which was perfect for breakfast each morning. The pool and rest of the property were also clean and everything was conveniently located. Shuttles were always at the front and if u missed one, the most we waited was 5 minutes. My 7 tear old and 3 year old loved the Atlantis as there were endless things to do for both children and adults. They liked the trip better than Disney and we look forward to a return trip next year. Again, A+ experience from A to Z!!!!!!!"

  • Simply Wonderful!

"My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and how I wish it could have been longer!! The house is simply amazing and we really hope to return one day. Snorkeling from the house was fun and its location to restaurants and beaches was really convenient. We enjoyed the hammock and hot tub and all of the wonderful amenities. You can't go wrong with this place!!"

  • Two thumbs up!

"Da Blue House is a charming, impeccably clean, and well-equipped cottage in a friendly neighborhood where locals are quick to say hello and offer assistance. The location was a perfect spot for me and my college-aged daughters to explore the island. Sam and JC were easy to reach and made sure that we had everything we needed, then after our trip, returned our security deposit lighting fast. Two of the most beautiful beaches- Long Beach and Smugglers Cove- are just a few minutes' drive, and great restaurants like Cruzin, Palm's Delight, and Sugar Mill are within walking distance, with great views along the way. In fact, the sunset from Cruzin was a dream. Island driving is an adventure in itself. The crazy-steep hairpin curves on the way to Cane Garden Bay take some getting used to (beep your horn on the approach and take 'em wide). Loved the food and music at Quito's and killer BBQ at Elm's. Being the off-season, we frequently found ourselves alone or with few others on beaches and in restaurants, except at the Baths, which despite the relative crowds, is still a must-see. Also recommend sailing and snorkeling with Gary on Karalu- excellent service and lunch on board. The highlight of our trip was breakfast with Mr. Egbert Donovan, just up the street at the North Shore Shell Museum. Be sure to call or visit him first to make a reservation. Mr. Egbert served up fabulous mango, banana, and coconut pancakes, mango smoothies, and charming tales of island life, as well as a tour of the "museum". Best of all, he strummed his guitar, sang original songs, and gave us instruments to play along. Priceless. One thing to note if you're a light sleeper- roosters and light traffic may keep you awake at Da Blue House, but once you relax and get in your island groove, it's all good. Truly fantastic …we’ll be back. Thanks Sam and JC!"

St. Barthelemy Travel Tips

Seasons to Travel to St. Barthelemy Vacation Rentals

St. Barthelemy is a small horseshoe-shaped island located near St. Maarten in the Caribbean. It is an independent French territory that once was part of Guadeloupe. The island is more often simply referred to as St. Barts or St. Barths. With its location in the Caribbean, it enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. The summer months can get humid and most rainfall occurs during this time of year. Typically, the thunderstorms are intense and short-lived. The sunshine often returns afterward and visitors can enjoy clear skies. Occasional tropical storms can blow through during the late summer months. While it is a destination that is visited all year long, the most popular travel season tends to be between December and April. Many people travel from Europe and North America to escape from colder northern climates. At this time of year, it is also less humid and the days are still enjoyably warm.

VIP Visitors to St. Barthelemy Villas

St. Barths has over the years built a reputation for being one of the elite Caribbean vacation destinations. Perhaps it is because it is fairly remote and not particularly well known that it remains a favorite hideaway for European royalty and Hollywood celebrities. Even relatively early on in its history, the island developed a talent for creating commerce which turned it into a relatively wealthy island compared to many of its Caribbean neighbors. The resorts and vacation homes are exclusive and stylish with hefty price tags to match. If it is a remote and private vacation destination that you are looking for, then it's well worth it.

Top Attractions near St. Barthelemy Resort Rentals

Some of St. Barth's main attractions are its beautiful beaches. The island is volcanic in nature which has resulted in a number of secluded coves and quiet beaches. Never far away are superb restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy some local cuisine. The island is a duty-free tax haven and offers some superb shopping facilities. The main streets are lined with glamorous and designer boutiques showing off all kinds of fashions and accessories. It is somewhere where you can spoil yourself with that pair of designer shoes you have been eying for a while. If you would like to enjoy the azure blue ocean, you can arrange a charter on one of the many luxury yachts moored in the harbor. Cruising around the coastline, you can drop anchor near one of the reefs and spend the day snorkeling and swimming.

Getting to Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Barthelemy

St. Barths has a small airport with a tarmac runway but can only accommodate smaller commercial aircraft. Larger commercial aircraft such as air buses cannot land on the island. For international travelers, you will first travel to the neighboring island of the Dutch-governed St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick 10-minute shuttle flight across to St. Barths. There are several airlines operating shuttle flights, and charter companies are also available for private charter flights. As an alternative routing, you can also fly via Guadeloupe. The regional flight takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on which airline you choose. If charter flights are your preferred way of travel, you can look into routing via the islands of Antigua or San Juan on Puerto Rico. Once on the island, the easiest way to get around is by taxi. Car rentals and chauffeur-driven vehicles are also available. These can be arranged at the airport upon arrival or by contacting a local operator in advance.
