"Our family of four spent the week of Christmas in Suite Margarita! What a magical vacation!! The ocean front suite is beautiful with a wonderful layout and gorgeous views of the pristine water!!Villa Renaissance location is the most perfect location on Grace Bay-it's within walking distance of everything!! The staff (Nicola,Mel&Ernest)could not have been more helpful! They took care of everything we wanted or needed including all our dinner reservations! Prior to the trip Margo(the owner) provided us with all the pertinent information we needed regarding restaurants, groceries and activities! The diving was spectacular & Dive Provo is a top notch outfit! We highly recommend Suite Margarita for a fabulous vacation! We can't wait to go back !!"Guest: Jennifer Date of Stay: December 2014 Review Submitted: January 7, 2015View listing
"Stunning home! Quiet location! A cooks dream, with 4 areas to prepare and so many large dinning tables, you could have a meal in a different location every day for a week. The main kitchen is so large it often doubled as our dance floor. Ask the excellent house manager to procure you fresh seafood from the dock and prepare for an amazing meal. We had the best lobster feast of our lives! All 9 of us had room to roam and never felt crowded in the least. Given the chance, I'm sure all of us would book this artfully decorated home once again."Guest: Trish Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: January 16, 2015View listing
"This place was everything that Henry represents it to be and more. 4 of us stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. This place has everything you need to relax and enjoy the quiet seclusion of Cayman Brac. What a welcome break from Grand Cayman's hustle and bustle. We went diving, kayaked, and snorkeled, and took full advantage of the pool and BBQ's. I think my 80 year old parents read 5 books between them just lazing in the hammocks and around the pool. Even got Dad snorkeling in the 86 degree water right off shore of the property, and there is a lot to see in the water. You cannot go wrong with Secluded Sunsets - Thanks Henry!"Guest: luv2dive Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 2, 2014View listing
"The villa is on perfect location, in the small town where life slows down. From the villa you have 1hour drive to anywhere on the island, so if you want to explore entire Martinique, this location is the best. The villa is beautiful, nicely furnished with everything that you need. In the mornings, you can just stay bed and watch the ocean and sun rising, and when you move to the kitchen and the living room, the view stays the same. You have many thing to do on this part of the island; the best of all are of course the secret beaches just a few minute walk from the house, where you are usually alone. A 5-minute walk takes you to the center of Tartane, where there is market with daily fresh fishes and few restaurants. There are many nice beaches within 10 minutes’ drive by car, and if you walk to the lighthouse, you will be able to enjoy the view of the entire island, from north to south. I would recommend renting this house to everybody, it really is a superb house on superb location and I believe that it doesn’t get any better than this. The owner is very friendly, replies quickly to your e-mails and helps you with everything you need, including many suggestions about what to see, where to go and where to eat. St. Barthelemy Travel Tips
Seasons to Travel to St. Barthelemy Vacation Rentals
St. Barthelemy is a small horseshoe-shaped island located near St. Maarten in the Caribbean. It is an independent French territory that once was part of Guadeloupe. The island is more often simply referred to as St. Barts or St. Barths. With its location in the Caribbean, it enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. The summer months can get humid and most rainfall occurs during this time of year. Typically, the thunderstorms are intense and short-lived. The sunshine often returns afterward and visitors can enjoy clear skies. Occasional tropical storms can blow through during the late summer months. While it is a destination that is visited all year long, the most popular travel season tends to be between December and April. Many people travel from Europe and North America to escape from colder northern climates. At this time of year, it is also less humid and the days are still enjoyably warm.
VIP Visitors to St. Barthelemy Villas
St. Barths has over the years built a reputation for being one of the elite Caribbean vacation destinations. Perhaps it is because it is fairly remote and not particularly well known that it remains a favorite hideaway for European royalty and Hollywood celebrities. Even relatively early on in its history, the island developed a talent for creating commerce which turned it into a relatively wealthy island compared to many of its Caribbean neighbors. The resorts and vacation homes are exclusive and stylish with hefty price tags to match. If it is a remote and private vacation destination that you are looking for, then it's well worth it.
Top Attractions near St. Barthelemy Resort Rentals
Some of St. Barth's main attractions are its beautiful beaches. The island is volcanic in nature which has resulted in a number of secluded coves and quiet beaches. Never far away are superb restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy some local cuisine. The island is a duty-free tax haven and offers some superb shopping facilities. The main streets are lined with glamorous and designer boutiques showing off all kinds of fashions and accessories. It is somewhere where you can spoil yourself with that pair of designer shoes you have been eying for a while. If you would like to enjoy the azure blue ocean, you can arrange a charter on one of the many luxury yachts moored in the harbor. Cruising around the coastline, you can drop anchor near one of the reefs and spend the day snorkeling and swimming.
Getting to Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Barthelemy
St. Barths has a small airport with a tarmac runway but can only accommodate smaller commercial aircraft. Larger commercial aircraft such as air buses cannot land on the island. For international travelers, you will first travel to the neighboring island of the Dutch-governed St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick 10-minute shuttle flight across to St. Barths. There are several airlines operating shuttle flights, and charter companies are also available for private charter flights. As an alternative routing, you can also fly via Guadeloupe. The regional flight takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on which airline you choose. If charter flights are your preferred way of travel, you can look into routing via the islands of Antigua or San Juan on Puerto Rico. Once on the island, the easiest way to get around is by taxi. Car rentals and chauffeur-driven vehicles are also available. These can be arranged at the airport upon arrival or by contacting a local operator in advance.
