  • Perfect house!

"Our family of 6 stayed for 7 nights in this home. We LOVED it! We walked with our 7 rolling suitcases about 100 feet from the gov dock to the front gate of the house. Our golf cart (from Sunshine Rentals) was waiting for us by the gate with the key in it. (Golf cart was a bit ragged out, but they made it right) The home is adorable on the outside, and beautiful, clean, spacious, comfortable, and well equipped on the inside. Lawrence helped us when we asked, and Judy was like a little elf (came in quickly while we were away and made the house look perfect again). She never touched our personal things (which we really appreciated) like some hotel cleaning ladies do. The owner sent us detailed directions and tips after booking that came in very handy leading up to our vacation, and during our stay. The beach chairs and umbrella provided were so wonderful to have. There were boogie boards and sand toys to use. Handy outdoor shower. We loved having the large back patio for all of our wet hats, towels, snorkel gear, and stuff at the end of the day at the beach. Plenty of pots, dishes, cooking utensils, etc in the kitchen. I would load up the dishwasher each morning and start it before we left for the beach or Eleuthera…and Judy would always unload it for me. Our kids loved all of the space to spread out and play. There is a 5 gallon jug of bottled drinking water under kitchen sink with a spigot at the sink. The owner told us to call the water company on the bottle for a replacement and sit the empty jug out on the front porch with $6. It was that simple both times we called for a replacement. The owner provided an extra full jug for us, to the side in the kitchen,…so there was never a time without water. Bring your own refillable water bottles from home, so you can fill with the house water and take with you to the beach. A large bottle of water at the Blue Bar at the beach is $5.50! This home is convenient to the dock and little cute town. It looks out at the dock and marina side of the island. We felt safe. It's not the beach side, but a fast 3 minute FUN golf cart ride away from the beach. We highly recommend this home for your large family or group. We were sad to leave!"

  • Smiles from all three couples as we entered the property and saw the colorful patio and pool.

"What a charming villa! The property manager greeted us upon arrival. The pool was sparkling, the sun deck large and all plants well manicured. We entered the villa and all bedrooms were excellent. Everyone commented on the comfort of the beds. The kitchen was well equipped and we had a washer and dryer. Although the villa had a nice dining room and living room; we found ourselves each evening sitting on the large terrace enjoying the view and having refreshments before going to dinner. The terrace had a grille and cooking area for the outdoor chef in the family on one end and a dining table on the other, but we enjoyed the couches with center table the most, as we sat and chatted about our day. As a home owner with a pool, I appreciated the sparkling pool water and the perfect upkeep. With just a few minutes walk to the village restaurants and beach; this villa was perfect! We enjoyed going for a short walk each morning for coffee and pastries at the nearby French restaurant. Vincent, the property owner, was quick getting back to us regarding any questions. Once the contract was submitted to us, it was very informative to protect the owner and the renter. We visited several VRBO villas before deciding on this one and are so happy with our decision. On our last day, everyone said "I am not ready to go back. I so enjoyed this villa. It was so close to everything." We will be back! Thanks to the owner and property manager for making our "vacay" a perfect trip!!!!"

  • Long Overdue Review

"There were 6 of us that stayed at Blue Villa back in June of this year to celebrate a 40th birthday. The house was close to everything and within walking distance to the pier and the coffee shop but you will need a car to explore what the island really has to offer. It was also less than a 5 minute wok to the beach and some of the best snorkeling on the island. It was like we had our own private oasis! The house was clean and spacious with the exception of the ants in the kitchen area, it just takes a little effort to keep it extra clean by making sure everything is put away. The house is equipped with all the necessary essentials such as plate ware, cookware, all sorts of glassware, beach and bath towels and air-conditioning. The rooms were large and there were two screened in decks. The private pool was a definite plus and was used everyday we were there. Louise was the perfect host and made sure every questions was answered and always responded in a timely manner. She welcomed us with the Turks local brew (which I crave to this day) and always recommend the best places to go. We also really enjoyed our fur-housemate Robinson (the cat) which we renamed shadow. He was the sweetest thing and followed us everywhere, he'd hang with us at the beach, the pool and would wait for us on top of our car every morning. We even ended up picking him up a box of food. I wanted to take him home:-) The trip was absolutly perfect, everyone we met was welcoming and so very friendly! There's no doubt in my mind where I will stay the next time I head to T&C!!"

  • Good Value

"For the location, size and view this apartment can't be beat. The apartment is large and comfotrtable and has an amazing ocean view. I stayed here once before and the upgrades to the apartment have made it even nicer than the first time. I would stay here again and would recommend to friends and family. The only issue I had was that the gate to the apartment door was malfunctioning and could not be closed. I brought it to the manager's attention twice and, although she called someone to have it repaire,d it remained broken during my 2 week visit."

St. Barthelemy Travel Tips

Seasons to Travel to St. Barthelemy Vacation Rentals

St. Barthelemy is a small horseshoe-shaped island located near St. Maarten in the Caribbean. It is an independent French territory that once was part of Guadeloupe. The island is more often simply referred to as St. Barts or St. Barths. With its location in the Caribbean, it enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. The summer months can get humid and most rainfall occurs during this time of year. Typically, the thunderstorms are intense and short-lived. The sunshine often returns afterward and visitors can enjoy clear skies. Occasional tropical storms can blow through during the late summer months. While it is a destination that is visited all year long, the most popular travel season tends to be between December and April. Many people travel from Europe and North America to escape from colder northern climates. At this time of year, it is also less humid and the days are still enjoyably warm.

VIP Visitors to St. Barthelemy Villas

St. Barths has over the years built a reputation for being one of the elite Caribbean vacation destinations. Perhaps it is because it is fairly remote and not particularly well known that it remains a favorite hideaway for European royalty and Hollywood celebrities. Even relatively early on in its history, the island developed a talent for creating commerce which turned it into a relatively wealthy island compared to many of its Caribbean neighbors. The resorts and vacation homes are exclusive and stylish with hefty price tags to match. If it is a remote and private vacation destination that you are looking for, then it's well worth it.

Top Attractions near St. Barthelemy Resort Rentals

Some of St. Barth's main attractions are its beautiful beaches. The island is volcanic in nature which has resulted in a number of secluded coves and quiet beaches. Never far away are superb restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy some local cuisine. The island is a duty-free tax haven and offers some superb shopping facilities. The main streets are lined with glamorous and designer boutiques showing off all kinds of fashions and accessories. It is somewhere where you can spoil yourself with that pair of designer shoes you have been eying for a while. If you would like to enjoy the azure blue ocean, you can arrange a charter on one of the many luxury yachts moored in the harbor. Cruising around the coastline, you can drop anchor near one of the reefs and spend the day snorkeling and swimming.

Getting to Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Barthelemy

St. Barths has a small airport with a tarmac runway but can only accommodate smaller commercial aircraft. Larger commercial aircraft such as air buses cannot land on the island. For international travelers, you will first travel to the neighboring island of the Dutch-governed St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick 10-minute shuttle flight across to St. Barths. There are several airlines operating shuttle flights, and charter companies are also available for private charter flights. As an alternative routing, you can also fly via Guadeloupe. The regional flight takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on which airline you choose. If charter flights are your preferred way of travel, you can look into routing via the islands of Antigua or San Juan on Puerto Rico. Once on the island, the easiest way to get around is by taxi. Car rentals and chauffeur-driven vehicles are also available. These can be arranged at the airport upon arrival or by contacting a local operator in advance.
