  • Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!!!

"This villa is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect vacation; it's private, quiet, great beds, well stocked kitchen, private pool, beach towels and chairs and the best view you will find from both the inside and outside. It is close to Red Hook and everything you may want to see and/or do. The outdoor area with the deck, pool, bar and grill are perfect for having relaxing days. We spent several days just lounging around on the deck; grilling, swimming and watching the boats go by. We had 2 couples and my brother has stage 4 lung cancer and is on oxygen. Although there were a few stairs getting down to the villa, he didn't really have trouble and was able to enjoy the deck and outdoor space. There were plenty of outdoor chairs and loungers to use, along with an outdoor dining set. The owners were quick to respond to our inquiries and were extremely helpful. Due to weather delays, our flight arrived about 10:30 pm instead of 2:00 pm. Although good directions were provided, given the late hour and long day we had, we had trouble finding the villa and had to call the owners for help. Although it was after midnight and I hated to call them that late, they answered the phone quickly and happily helped us. I can't imagine finding a better place on the island to spend your vacation. It was perfect!!"

  • Perfection in Paradise

"We stayed here for a week with a group of friends. The condo was perfect for our trip. The beds were comfy, the condo was clean and the pool was awesome. We were close to a grocery store and it was so nice to cook homemade meals. The condo is close to the beach, restaurants and is a 15 minute bus ride to downtown. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Nadia for your hospitality!"

  • Beautiful apartment on a beautiful resort

"The apartment is spacious, clean, comfortable, luxurious, with all the facilities you need, including a good supply of towels and plenty of hangers! (most of hotels I go, there's never enough hangers for my mountain of clothes :-) The terrace/balcony is huge, with a couple of sunbeds, and 2x table and chairs. The views are breathtaking, absolutely beautiful, with views of the bay and one of the resort swimming pools directly below the apartment. The resort never felt crowded and you could find sunbeds either on the beach, or around the swimming pools anytime of the day. We used the Nonsuch bay restaurant on many occasions, for lunch and dinner, and on every visit we were never dissapointed with how friendly the staff were and with the high quality of the food! It's also perfect to eat in at the apartment, with a fully fitted kitchen to prepare and cook the food. Peter (the owner of the apartment) does a service to order groceries before arrival, which we took advantage of, for a small charge, or there are supermarkets within a short drive. The one we used was about 20-25 mins away. The resort have recently opened a new shop, selling essentials. We hired a car (Recommend 4x4) for the whole of our stay and managed to visit most of the Island...We loved the English Harbour area, and all the beautiful beaches around the Island. There is info and a big map in the apartment to help plan what places you would like go and recommended restaurants etc. Nonsuch bay resort have a sailing club, we had never sailed before, but we gave it a go, an instructor took us out and we thoroughly enjoyed it! It is always windy where Nonsuch bay is situated in Antigua, but we found this refreshing and kept the bugs away. The resort has a very friendly family feel (great resort kids club, the children looked like they were having a fab time!). But also great if visiting as a couple, or with friends. We highly recommend."

St. Barthelemy Travel Tips

Seasons to Travel to St. Barthelemy Vacation Rentals

St. Barthelemy is a small horseshoe-shaped island located near St. Maarten in the Caribbean. It is an independent French territory that once was part of Guadeloupe. The island is more often simply referred to as St. Barts or St. Barths. With its location in the Caribbean, it enjoys a year-round warm tropical climate. The summer months can get humid and most rainfall occurs during this time of year. Typically, the thunderstorms are intense and short-lived. The sunshine often returns afterward and visitors can enjoy clear skies. Occasional tropical storms can blow through during the late summer months. While it is a destination that is visited all year long, the most popular travel season tends to be between December and April. Many people travel from Europe and North America to escape from colder northern climates. At this time of year, it is also less humid and the days are still enjoyably warm.

VIP Visitors to St. Barthelemy Villas

St. Barths has over the years built a reputation for being one of the elite Caribbean vacation destinations. Perhaps it is because it is fairly remote and not particularly well known that it remains a favorite hideaway for European royalty and Hollywood celebrities. Even relatively early on in its history, the island developed a talent for creating commerce which turned it into a relatively wealthy island compared to many of its Caribbean neighbors. The resorts and vacation homes are exclusive and stylish with hefty price tags to match. If it is a remote and private vacation destination that you are looking for, then it's well worth it.

Top Attractions near St. Barthelemy Resort Rentals

Some of St. Barth's main attractions are its beautiful beaches. The island is volcanic in nature which has resulted in a number of secluded coves and quiet beaches. Never far away are superb restaurants and beach bars where you can enjoy some local cuisine. The island is a duty-free tax haven and offers some superb shopping facilities. The main streets are lined with glamorous and designer boutiques showing off all kinds of fashions and accessories. It is somewhere where you can spoil yourself with that pair of designer shoes you have been eying for a while. If you would like to enjoy the azure blue ocean, you can arrange a charter on one of the many luxury yachts moored in the harbor. Cruising around the coastline, you can drop anchor near one of the reefs and spend the day snorkeling and swimming.

Getting to Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Barthelemy

St. Barths has a small airport with a tarmac runway but can only accommodate smaller commercial aircraft. Larger commercial aircraft such as air buses cannot land on the island. For international travelers, you will first travel to the neighboring island of the Dutch-governed St. Maarten. From there, you can get a quick 10-minute shuttle flight across to St. Barths. There are several airlines operating shuttle flights, and charter companies are also available for private charter flights. As an alternative routing, you can also fly via Guadeloupe. The regional flight takes approximately 45 to 60 minutes, depending on which airline you choose. If charter flights are your preferred way of travel, you can look into routing via the islands of Antigua or San Juan on Puerto Rico. Once on the island, the easiest way to get around is by taxi. Car rentals and chauffeur-driven vehicles are also available. These can be arranged at the airport upon arrival or by contacting a local operator in advance.
