  • Absolutely perfect!

"This is the second time I have stayed at Turtle Beach House. The first time was back in 2011 with my wife and 2 kids. This time I returned with my wife Kim and my mother. This house is incredible and is everything that is promised. Working with Richard the owner is a pleasure, he is very organized with the paperwork. The house is custom built and sits on the side of a mountain over looking the Atlantic and has incredible views of Nevis. You will never get tired of looking at the views. There is a tv in the house, but you will never turn it on, the views are too stunning to watch tv. The infinity pool is beautiful and you just stare out at sea from the pool, it never gets tiring. The house is beautifully decorated and is only 5 years old and in excellent condition. Air conditioning in all 3 bedrooms is a nice touch, but the southeasterly winds on the peninsula are so perfect you will probably not even need the a/c. Turtle Beach House is as good as it gets. Rent this villa, you will not be dissapointed. Bobby Loesch. Collegeville, PA 19426"

  • Amazing vacation!

"We celebrated Christmas and New Year's at this villa in St. Kitts and it was absolutely amazing. Stunning views, swimming, amazing weather, tons to do, very friendly locals, great restaurants and food. We couldn't have asked for more. We had our children with us who were just as entertained and excited as we were to be there - swimming in the private villa pool, or hopping next door to the big infinity pool with million $ views. The villa is gorgeous, modern, very clean, very secure/safe with private driveway. There are many beaches around the island worth visiting and lots of water sports (including flyboarding, which is a blast!) Fishing, scuba, snorkel ... and Nevis is just a quick drive/ferry away! We will definitely be back soon!"

  • Ideal vacation home at an incredible price!

"Our family (with 3 kids aged 11, 9, and 6) stayed at this apartment for a week and loved it. It is located conveniently at Frigate Bay with walking distance to shopping and a number of great restaurants. The owner was very friendly and responsive by email both before our trip and after we arrived. We were told to lock our doors when away and at night. We had no security issues and felt totally safe during our stay. We were glad to have opted for the Sealofts apartment instead of the Marriott nearby at the end of our stay. Our apartment cost a fraction of what it would have cost to stay at the Marriott and offered everything we needed! We met another family on our day trip to Nevis, and they stayed at the Marriott, they even had to pay for internet. The apartment was equipped with all the essentials as stated. Our kids took full advantage of the swimming pool that is only steps away from our apartment. It was as if we had our private swimming pool since not many people used the pool; the water was very clean. Our neighbor was really nice and helpful to us. The office staff was also friendly."

  • Home away from Home!

"I have just returned from a 4 week stay in this villa. It was immaculate, spacious and everything I expected during my stay. The grounds were very well maintained. The villa is walking distance to the strip in Frigate Bay, the beach, and restaurants. However, if you want to explore the island I would recommend renting a car. I love to run and each morning I felt very comfortable running in the area. The unit was equipped with everything that I needed.  I was really pleased with the location, space, and especially the mattresses. Deon was very helpful. During my stay Janice was on hand to address any concerns. I plan to return next summer.   I would highly recommend this villa for your stay while on the island.  The information provided online depicted an accurate picture of the property. What you see is what you get! This is an awesome villa! Thanks for making my stay enjoyable!"

St. Kitts (St. Christopher) Travel Tips

Favorite Time of Year to Visit St. Kitts Vacation Rentals

Like many other Caribbean destinations, the peak travel season runs from December to April. This is due to a number of reasons. Firstly, it is when many travelers from the northern hemisphere look to escape from the cold winter weather at home. Secondly, it is the more temperate season on St. Kitts when the days are typically warm and dry. In general, the island enjoys a year-round tropical climate. Humidity levels increase during the summer months, owing to frequent rainfall. Tropical storms sometimes blow over the island in the late summer months of September and October. August often sees the heaviest rainfall. If you want to avoid the crowds but still get to enjoy good weather, you may consider traveling in the shoulder season. Often there are great travel specials offered on flights and accommodations that you can take advantage of.

Attractions and Activities near St. Kitts Villas

If you want to experience some of the local culture of St. Kitts, visit the Caribelle Batik Factory. Here you can watch as artisans use wax and colorful dyes to create a wide range of fabric items. This fabric is then used to make dresses, t-shirts and home linens. Basseterre is the island's capital and a vibrant city. There are many monuments and quaint shops that you can explore at leisure. The beaches and beach bars of St. Kitts are legendary. Spend the days working on your tan and in the evenings, enjoy a few cocktails as you watch the sunset.

Getting to St. Kitts Resort Rentals

The main airport on St. Kitts is known as the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport. The airport is modern structure and boasts a host of modern facilities. It can accommodate international flights and has landing facilities for large jumbo jets. The airport hosts regular commercial flights from North America, Europe and South America. There daily direct flights come from major cities in the U.S., such as Miami, Atlanta, and New York City. When searching for flights, you may want to consider routing via one of these cities. The airport is also the main travel hub for connecting flights on to the neighboring islands as there are also regularly scheduled flights to other Caribbean islands.

On the island, one of the easiest ways to get around is by taxi. The taxi rates are generally fixed and charged in Euros. Signs detailing the rates can be found posted at the airport and major taxi stands on the island. Car hire is available on the island and there are several reputable agencies in town. You do first need to obtain a local driving permit even if you have an international driver's license. Most rental agencies will provide an airport pick-up service and assist you with getting your local driving permit.

Visitors to Caribbean Vacation Rentals on St. Kitts

St. Kitts is a tropical paradise that seems to float on a turquoise blue sea. It is the type of destination where you can completely relax, unwind and simply soak up the natural beauty of this island paradise. It is one of the lesser-known Caribbean travel destinations and therefore generally caters to the more affluent traveler. Having said this, dress is still very informal on the island, even when eating out in top-quality restaurants. There are many sporting activities for those who enjoy the outdoors.
