  • Can't Imagine Better

"First, I don't think we could have rented from or dealt with kinder or friendlier people. Brent was amazing from day one - quick to reply, answered all our questions, gave TONS of detailed information for travel on & amongst the islands, where to eat, activities available, pleaded to see, etc etc. He was an invaluable resource that helped make our vacation practically perfect! And Norma who is on location in St Thomas, oh my word talk about wonderful - so kind, approachable, & helpful! As far as the condo, it exceeded our expectations, & I've done multiple condo rentals from others, none have come so fully stocked as this one. It was well kept, comfortable, and CLEAN. The beach is a very BRIEF stroll from the condo, so close that at night when all was quiet I could hear the calm surf outside even with windows shut. The beach attendant was super friendly, they kept the beach clean & helped with our chairs. Snorkel gear & kiak rentals available right there on the beach, along with food and drinks. Servers would even come right to your chair to take your order and deliver it to you. The color and clarity of the water was breathtaking, not to mention the sea life under it. Right off the beach is coral, all shapes, sizes and colors of fish, and straight out in deeper waters where sea grass lines the ocean floor I snorkeled with sea turtles and sting rays! Sapphire beach is gorgeous and packed with so much to do in itself, but it also serves as a great hub for taking day, or just a few hours, trips to other beaches. It is so close to Red Hook (groceries, dining, shopping, ferries to St John, etc), & also close to other beautiful & fun beaches like Coki Beach or the famous Maghens Bay. Truly this condo offers all the comforts of home in a tropical paradise. I really can't say enough about the place or about Brent and Norma. Already looking forward to going back again!"

"You simply will not find a more memorable vacation home and accommodations than this property. The attention to detail begins with the property owners monitoring flights, scheduling transportation, coordinating golf carts, arranging cooks, cleaning services and even a photographer; this is more than a vacation home, it includes owners that create memories! The home is spacious, the view is spectacular and the private beach is among the best in the world. Elaine and Michael made a vacation for 7 adults and 4 children into an awesome lifetime memory!"

  • Perfect Vacation

"We just returned from a perfect week on St. John at Brisas. Great home. Well-kept, comfortable, plenty of space, great main living area/kitchen, nice bedrooms, bathrooms and newer showers. Great breezes. Ceiling fans everywhere. Absolutely no need for a/c. Nice pool and hot tub. Most importantly - SPECTACULAR views from the multiple decks. And as far as the rough road to the villa goes - you get used to it after a day and at least there are none of the freaky switchbacks you encounter at many other villas. We loved Brisas and laid-back Coral Bay. See you next year!"

  • Best of the best!

"My husband and I stayed at Ida's "sea shell" cottage for 6 nights and had the absolute best time. Everything about our stay was perfect - the cottage, the views, the beaches, the people of Black Point, our trips to surrounding cays…the list goes on. Ida is so wonderful to deal with and made sure all of our needs were taken care of, starting with picking us up at the airport and showing us around the cottage when we arrived. Anything we needed, she was right there. Her and her husband’s hospitality made us feel very welcome and taken care of. The cottage had everything we needed for the week – kitchen supplies, air conditioning, wifi (although not the best connection), bedding, beach towels, and a golf cart to get around the island. It was immaculately clean when we arrived. But the best thing about the cottage by far is its location overlooking the beautiful Black Point bay with beach access (including lounge chairs) and perfect views of sunsets over the bay. Things to do: happy hour at Scorpios (food/drink deals and lots of cruisers go) and lunch/dinner at Deshamon’s and Lorraine’s. The service and food (especially at Lorraine’s and Deshamon’s) was wonderful and reasonably priced (e.g. grilled grouper with peas and rice, veggies and salad for $22USD). We also bought loaves of coconut bread from both restaurants which is homemade and delicious. For groceries, there is a store called Adderly’s which had a lot of staple items and wasn’t too expensive. Renting a boat from Ida was the highlight of the trip for us. The first time you rent, you go out with a guide and he took us to the beaches where you feed the pigs and iguanas (a must-see!), showed us all the good snorkeling spots and pointed out the best cays and spots to visit. I cannot even describe how beautiful the water and cays are – the colours of the water are surreal and you have your choice of deserted beaches to pull up to and enjoy on your own. If you rent a boat, I also recommend spending some time in Staniel Cay and eating at the yacht club there. The food was great and it’s a beautifully-decorated spot right on the water. Black Point also has its own beautiful beaches that you can get to using the golf cart. One of them (on the south end of the island) was one of the prettiest beaches we've ever seen. It was so hard coming home after a wonderful week on Black Point. I really hope to be back again next winter! Thank you Ida and Terrance for such a memorable week!"

St. Kitts & Nevis Travel Tips

Getting to St. Kitts and Nevis Vacation Rentals

The primary airport for St. Kitts and Nevis is the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport that is located on the island of St. Kitts. The airport has the facilities to accommodate commercial jumbo jets that operate on long-haul flights. There are regular commercial flights from major European cities such as Amsterdam and Paris. There are also frequent flights from Miami and New York City among other North America destinations. There is only a smaller regional airport on Nevis and most flights route via St. Kitts. Charter and scheduled flights operate daily on smaller aircraft between the two islands. There are also water taxis and ferries that operate on regular daily schedules, weather permitting.

As an alternative routing to get to Nevis, you may also consider routing via St. Maarten or Antigua. Both these destinations have regular flights on to Nevis as well as ferries that operate between the islands on a regular basis. Once on the islands, it is relatively easy to get around. Taxis provide transport to and from the airport and your vacation destination. Car rental is widely available and easy to organize. If you want to do some independent exploring, this will be your best transport option.

Visitors to St. Kitts and Nevis Villas

St. Kitts and Nevis are two islands that attract nature lovers and those who appreciate natural surroundings. The islands have a wealth of cultural attractions for those who enjoy local arts and crafts, and bargaining for souvenirs at the local markets and small shops. The beaches with their beautiful sands are favorite places to laze and catch a suntan. Sun lovers can enjoy their own private share of paradise.

Things to See and Do at St. Kitts and Nevis Resort Rentals

The islands of St. Kitts and Nevis are favored with consistent sea breezes as well as the northeasterly trade winds. This makes it a popular sailing destination in the Caribbean. Both islands have many beautiful beaches. Some are secluded coves where you can enjoy a private picnic. Others are lined with beach bars and restaurants, providing refreshments and entertainment.

St. Kitts and Nevis have interesting histories as they were discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. It is reported that he sailed past the island but did not land. More than a century later, a group of British settlers decided to make the island their new home. Ruins of fortified walls from these early settlements can still be seen on the islands today. There are several museums which detail the interesting history but perhaps the best way to experience the culture is to meander down the streets seeking out the old colonial buildings, shop at the local markets, and explore the landscapes on horseback. For the more energetic, you can go mountain biking through the interior. There are also several hiking routes and nature trails you can explore.

Best Season to Visit Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Kitts and Nevis

In any given month, you can enjoy warm temperatures on St. Kitts and Nevis. The islands enjoy a warm tropical climate with rain that occurs throughout the year. Rain showers are generally brief and blow over quickly. The exception is during hurricane season when tropical storms bring strong winds and heavy rain that can last for several days. Tropical storms can occur any time between June and November and seem to occur most frequently in August. Humidity is relatively low compared to other Caribbean islands which makes it a more ideal vacation destination. Aside from the stormy season, it is a destination that can be visited all year-round. In general, the popular time of year for tourists is between December and March.
