  • Great apartment, great location

"This apartment was a perfect home base to explore Paris from. Full kitchen allowed shopping and eating "at home". All of the major sights were an easy walk from here (Louvre, Notre Dame, L'Opera, Champs-Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, etc.) Washer and dryer available, split bathroom was efficient. It was close to Metro stations, close to train stations, close to shopping and eating. I would definitely come back, and I will definitely recommend to friends & family. (Although not to my mother...it's a 4th floor apt and not wheel chair accessible:-)"

  • OMG this home is GORGEOUS!!! Wow! 10 STARS!

"OMG this house is gorgeous!!!! wow! Its straight out of HGTV – amazing! The attention to detail in the décor is outstanding – the claw foot tub, lighting fixtures, unique furniture and even the modern appliances that blend perfectly with the Victorian feel. Its really amazing! I kinda chuckled when I saw the hinge photos in the rental listing, but I get it now. The detail in this renovated Victorian is amazing. Most Victorian homes in SF are made of paint and dirt, but this home is immaculate. Its very cozy and the layout is perfect for small dinner parties or taking time out to have privacy. The backyard is completely private with a working fireplace. The flat is a few blocks from Castro street and a block from Dolores Park, easy buslines and J church train. Very quiet...did I mention gorgeous?!? Check-in/check-out was super easy, key in the lockbox - have a great time! (no annoying property managers ;) Navin - thank you for opening your doors to us, we LOVED staying there. I have never been in a Victorian that was in such immaculate condition. I know you put a ton of money into your home – again, gorgeous! I can't wait to have more friends come visit so we can all come back!"

  • 'Tis on the list for next year.

"Home away from home. Everything you need is there. Great location for........the pool, Wholefoods, The River, Sunnylands and many other things of interest. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio in the cool morning sun and bbq dinners in the shade. ,,,,,and the bonus is...... the wonderful display of ever-blooming roses with a resident "praying mantis"!"

  • Simply Awesome

"The property and location were superb. So close to everything. Beautiful beach, lots to do. House was fully equipped. All you really need are beach towels, clothes and food. The owners do a really great job of providing anything you can think of (and super clean...not that musty beach house smell). Linens on the bed so soft and comfy. We had a terrific stay and will definitely consider returning year after year if it works w/our schedules, etc. Almost don't want to recommend as then it might not be available when we need it :-) Jana is super responsive and super nice. Can't ask for anything better. Friends that visited were super impressed with the property/location. Tons of room. Thank you for opening up your home to us...even our little dog enjoyed his stay :-)"

St. Kitts & Nevis Travel Tips

Getting to St. Kitts and Nevis Vacation Rentals

The primary airport for St. Kitts and Nevis is the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport that is located on the island of St. Kitts. The airport has the facilities to accommodate commercial jumbo jets that operate on long-haul flights. There are regular commercial flights from major European cities such as Amsterdam and Paris. There are also frequent flights from Miami and New York City among other North America destinations. There is only a smaller regional airport on Nevis and most flights route via St. Kitts. Charter and scheduled flights operate daily on smaller aircraft between the two islands. There are also water taxis and ferries that operate on regular daily schedules, weather permitting.

As an alternative routing to get to Nevis, you may also consider routing via St. Maarten or Antigua. Both these destinations have regular flights on to Nevis as well as ferries that operate between the islands on a regular basis. Once on the islands, it is relatively easy to get around. Taxis provide transport to and from the airport and your vacation destination. Car rental is widely available and easy to organize. If you want to do some independent exploring, this will be your best transport option.

Visitors to St. Kitts and Nevis Villas

St. Kitts and Nevis are two islands that attract nature lovers and those who appreciate natural surroundings. The islands have a wealth of cultural attractions for those who enjoy local arts and crafts, and bargaining for souvenirs at the local markets and small shops. The beaches with their beautiful sands are favorite places to laze and catch a suntan. Sun lovers can enjoy their own private share of paradise.

Things to See and Do at St. Kitts and Nevis Resort Rentals

The islands of St. Kitts and Nevis are favored with consistent sea breezes as well as the northeasterly trade winds. This makes it a popular sailing destination in the Caribbean. Both islands have many beautiful beaches. Some are secluded coves where you can enjoy a private picnic. Others are lined with beach bars and restaurants, providing refreshments and entertainment.

St. Kitts and Nevis have interesting histories as they were discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. It is reported that he sailed past the island but did not land. More than a century later, a group of British settlers decided to make the island their new home. Ruins of fortified walls from these early settlements can still be seen on the islands today. There are several museums which detail the interesting history but perhaps the best way to experience the culture is to meander down the streets seeking out the old colonial buildings, shop at the local markets, and explore the landscapes on horseback. For the more energetic, you can go mountain biking through the interior. There are also several hiking routes and nature trails you can explore.

Best Season to Visit Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Kitts and Nevis

In any given month, you can enjoy warm temperatures on St. Kitts and Nevis. The islands enjoy a warm tropical climate with rain that occurs throughout the year. Rain showers are generally brief and blow over quickly. The exception is during hurricane season when tropical storms bring strong winds and heavy rain that can last for several days. Tropical storms can occur any time between June and November and seem to occur most frequently in August. Humidity is relatively low compared to other Caribbean islands which makes it a more ideal vacation destination. Aside from the stormy season, it is a destination that can be visited all year-round. In general, the popular time of year for tourists is between December and March.
