  • Great condo and location!!!

"Our stay was great! This unit, although on the third floor, was nice and spacious. We had 5 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. Anything we needed was available in the condo. We generally stay in hotels and were a little skeptical about renting a condo. Boy are we glad we did. The cleanliness was definitely impressive. Carrie helped us with our questions throughout our stay. The location on 7MB had little traffic from people walking on the beach, which is steps from the pool. The proximity of the Marriott hotel and it's activities available to our party was a definite plus. We will be back. Thank you!!"

  • Great place to stay at a very reasonable price!

"If your travel plans include Puerto Rico and you are not interested in staying in the San Juan area then Dorado is the place to visit and Elizabeth's Villa at Villas de Golf is the place stay. This is my second stay at Elizabeth's villa along with a very large family gathering. The villa is only about 35 to 40 minutes from the airport. The villa was clean, neat and orderly and the furniture and appliances are modern. Elizabeth provides useful and clear instructions for how to get there from the airport, use her facilities, and depart at the end of your stay. She is very friendly and attentive to any and all questions that you may have. My family and I enjoyed our stay immensely and plan to stay there again."

  • Amazing property and host. Don't pass this up!

"I can't say enough about how wonderful my stay was at Yunque Brisas Villa. I was looking for beauty, peace and a place to relax for a few days before my family came into town. I found that, and so, so much more! The gorgeous, simplistic architecture and bathroom with rock brings the outside in and creates a special feeling of magic. At night I sat on the private veranda/deck with a glass of wine and enjoyed listening to the 'rainforest' sounds of the cute little Coqui frogs of Puerto Rico, woke to solitude, a rising sun and a feeling of specialness all the way around. During the day I took a short walk down the hill to the beach and swimming pool of the resort. Yet, besides the accommodations, it wouldn't be the same with out the host, Brad. Besides the fact that he is a spectacular chef ( I ordered the same breakfast both days it was so good!!), he is informative, friendly and just well...a wonderful man. I feel like I've made a new, great friend! He showed me around the property, which is filled with uncountable fruit trees and more. His passion for the land is undeniable and contagious. I even brought my boyfriend back when he came into town for him to meet Brad. This is just a special place in so many ways. I can't wait to come back again!"

St. Kitts & Nevis Travel Tips

Getting to St. Kitts and Nevis Vacation Rentals

The primary airport for St. Kitts and Nevis is the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport that is located on the island of St. Kitts. The airport has the facilities to accommodate commercial jumbo jets that operate on long-haul flights. There are regular commercial flights from major European cities such as Amsterdam and Paris. There are also frequent flights from Miami and New York City among other North America destinations. There is only a smaller regional airport on Nevis and most flights route via St. Kitts. Charter and scheduled flights operate daily on smaller aircraft between the two islands. There are also water taxis and ferries that operate on regular daily schedules, weather permitting.

As an alternative routing to get to Nevis, you may also consider routing via St. Maarten or Antigua. Both these destinations have regular flights on to Nevis as well as ferries that operate between the islands on a regular basis. Once on the islands, it is relatively easy to get around. Taxis provide transport to and from the airport and your vacation destination. Car rental is widely available and easy to organize. If you want to do some independent exploring, this will be your best transport option.

Visitors to St. Kitts and Nevis Villas

St. Kitts and Nevis are two islands that attract nature lovers and those who appreciate natural surroundings. The islands have a wealth of cultural attractions for those who enjoy local arts and crafts, and bargaining for souvenirs at the local markets and small shops. The beaches with their beautiful sands are favorite places to laze and catch a suntan. Sun lovers can enjoy their own private share of paradise.

Things to See and Do at St. Kitts and Nevis Resort Rentals

The islands of St. Kitts and Nevis are favored with consistent sea breezes as well as the northeasterly trade winds. This makes it a popular sailing destination in the Caribbean. Both islands have many beautiful beaches. Some are secluded coves where you can enjoy a private picnic. Others are lined with beach bars and restaurants, providing refreshments and entertainment.

St. Kitts and Nevis have interesting histories as they were discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. It is reported that he sailed past the island but did not land. More than a century later, a group of British settlers decided to make the island their new home. Ruins of fortified walls from these early settlements can still be seen on the islands today. There are several museums which detail the interesting history but perhaps the best way to experience the culture is to meander down the streets seeking out the old colonial buildings, shop at the local markets, and explore the landscapes on horseback. For the more energetic, you can go mountain biking through the interior. There are also several hiking routes and nature trails you can explore.

Best Season to Visit Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Kitts and Nevis

In any given month, you can enjoy warm temperatures on St. Kitts and Nevis. The islands enjoy a warm tropical climate with rain that occurs throughout the year. Rain showers are generally brief and blow over quickly. The exception is during hurricane season when tropical storms bring strong winds and heavy rain that can last for several days. Tropical storms can occur any time between June and November and seem to occur most frequently in August. Humidity is relatively low compared to other Caribbean islands which makes it a more ideal vacation destination. Aside from the stormy season, it is a destination that can be visited all year-round. In general, the popular time of year for tourists is between December and March.
