  • Totally Loaded, Ready-To-Go Family Condo

"My wife and I have been coming to St Thomas for 30 years, Sapphire Beach Resort for 15 of those, and this condo is a unique and valuable condo for two reasons: the available beach equipment and the two-bedroom set up. The owners provide top-notch beach equipment, so you don't have to bring your own. There were all kinds of masks and fins, noodles, kick boards, coolers, footballs, volleyballs, etc. Everything we usually have to buy when we go for a beach vacation was there and in excellent condition. There were also 4 of those shortie fold-up beach chairs in the equipment closet--which we like a bit more than chaise lounges. Serious bonus. The second unique asset of this property is the two-bedroom setup. The wifey and I had privacy, and so did our two teenage daughters. That there is good living! This is truly a unique condo in the Sapphire Beach condo community. Do it (and pack lightly)!"

  • A Special Place

"Our 3rd time at Shakti Home and it just keeps getting better. Lots of interesting upgrades since we were there last and the best parts the same, amazing home cooking by Audrey, and a view to die for with the peace and serenity we needed. You leave here a new person. McCarl, the caretaker at Shakti also helped to make sure any of our needs were met. Perfect place for doing nothing but relaxing!"

  • Absolutely wonderful

"My friend and I stayed here for a week and we do not think we could have picked a better place for our first visit to St. Thomas. The view was spectacular! The condo is exactly as pictured! ! The people and staff at Point Pleasant could not have been nicer or more helpful. The free shuttle to Magen Beach and Red Hook was available from 8:00am - 8:00 pm daily which was certainly a nice "bonus". We also took the $2 safari taxi to Charlotte Amalie one day which was a fun way to see the island. We liked being on east end away from cruise ship traffic. We had an awesome time and loved this Condo! ! ! !"

  • Wished we could have stayed longer!

"My husband, young son and I stayed at this Golf Villa and had a wonderful time. This was our second visit to Casa de Campo and we weren't disappointed! The house was spotless, had a perfect layout for families, and very centrally located. All in all, we wished we had another week and are looking forward to coming back!"

St. Kitts & Nevis Travel Tips

Getting to St. Kitts and Nevis Vacation Rentals

The primary airport for St. Kitts and Nevis is the Robert Llewellyn Bradshaw International Airport that is located on the island of St. Kitts. The airport has the facilities to accommodate commercial jumbo jets that operate on long-haul flights. There are regular commercial flights from major European cities such as Amsterdam and Paris. There are also frequent flights from Miami and New York City among other North America destinations. There is only a smaller regional airport on Nevis and most flights route via St. Kitts. Charter and scheduled flights operate daily on smaller aircraft between the two islands. There are also water taxis and ferries that operate on regular daily schedules, weather permitting.

As an alternative routing to get to Nevis, you may also consider routing via St. Maarten or Antigua. Both these destinations have regular flights on to Nevis as well as ferries that operate between the islands on a regular basis. Once on the islands, it is relatively easy to get around. Taxis provide transport to and from the airport and your vacation destination. Car rental is widely available and easy to organize. If you want to do some independent exploring, this will be your best transport option.

Visitors to St. Kitts and Nevis Villas

St. Kitts and Nevis are two islands that attract nature lovers and those who appreciate natural surroundings. The islands have a wealth of cultural attractions for those who enjoy local arts and crafts, and bargaining for souvenirs at the local markets and small shops. The beaches with their beautiful sands are favorite places to laze and catch a suntan. Sun lovers can enjoy their own private share of paradise.

Things to See and Do at St. Kitts and Nevis Resort Rentals

The islands of St. Kitts and Nevis are favored with consistent sea breezes as well as the northeasterly trade winds. This makes it a popular sailing destination in the Caribbean. Both islands have many beautiful beaches. Some are secluded coves where you can enjoy a private picnic. Others are lined with beach bars and restaurants, providing refreshments and entertainment.

St. Kitts and Nevis have interesting histories as they were discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. It is reported that he sailed past the island but did not land. More than a century later, a group of British settlers decided to make the island their new home. Ruins of fortified walls from these early settlements can still be seen on the islands today. There are several museums which detail the interesting history but perhaps the best way to experience the culture is to meander down the streets seeking out the old colonial buildings, shop at the local markets, and explore the landscapes on horseback. For the more energetic, you can go mountain biking through the interior. There are also several hiking routes and nature trails you can explore.

Best Season to Visit Caribbean Vacation Rentals in St. Kitts and Nevis

In any given month, you can enjoy warm temperatures on St. Kitts and Nevis. The islands enjoy a warm tropical climate with rain that occurs throughout the year. Rain showers are generally brief and blow over quickly. The exception is during hurricane season when tropical storms bring strong winds and heavy rain that can last for several days. Tropical storms can occur any time between June and November and seem to occur most frequently in August. Humidity is relatively low compared to other Caribbean islands which makes it a more ideal vacation destination. Aside from the stormy season, it is a destination that can be visited all year-round. In general, the popular time of year for tourists is between December and March.
