  • Nice relaxing vacation

"First time in St. Kitts and such a beautiful house with spectacular views. It takes a while to get there from the airport but once you get there, you will not be disappointed. House is very spacious with plenty of supplies to make your stay very comfortable. You will need a car since there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby. Deck is very spacious and pool is great. We took an island tour with Jonathan from Pereira tours and it was very informative and relaxing with multiple stops and no pressure. There were no glitches in our communications with the owner of the house and its manager"

  • A private retreat

"Second time of renting this property. This time we took the cottage, which is the perfect retreat for two people. It has a lovely outdoor shower and great kitchen with all the condiments on hand. Their resident cat Pepper will be there to greet you:) Believe the pictures. The beach is secluded and a snorkelling paradise containing the only reef system accessible by beach on the Island. Sitings included, rays, turtles, and a wide range of reef fishes! The cottage is a wonderful hide away with various areas to sit outside. The owners (Penny and Ricky) take pride in what they do and are very genuine. They are one of the main reasons we returned. The beach lounge is a great addition and means you can take food down to the beach each day and also have a place to relax in the shade. There is a fully stocked honour bar as well as snorkelling equipment you can use. This is a grown up paradise for people that want to escape and unwind with little disturbance."

  • Wonderful home with views

"We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Alamandra. The home is spacious, beautiful and well maintained. We spent many hours on the terrace enjoying the view and using the pool. We had a car rental which was really necessary as the villa is in a more remote area of the island. The roads to Turtle beach are really bad so a bit tricky to drive at night. The villa is up a steep hill- a car with good pickup will be needed. The beach nearby is a bit too weedy and rough for swimming but it is an easy walk to Cockleshell beach which is very nice for swimming. We were disappointed that the Beach House restaurant is no longer open to the public so there are no options for dinner within walking distance. We did enjoy the Spice Mill (short drive) and Salt Plage near by. I would recommend the villa as a lovely place to stay."

  • Living in the blue splendor

"Nick and Cathy, you have built a magnificent house framed around a stunning blue view. The house is very well designed and the location remotely perfect. The deck, expertly done, taking full advantage of the view providing every meal and cocktail with a backdrop beyond belief. The 20 ft sliding multi-folding glass living room door opens the living room up to the deck and view making the room feel 4 times as large and seemingly bringing you that much closer to ever luring Nevis in the backdrop. The kitchen/living room/deck living space works incredibly well and would show well in a magazine; you could have 20 to dinner. The light and airy bedrooms/bathrooms are also perfectly designed with vaulted whitewashed wood ceilings and windows/glass block accents. The pool/sundeck is difficult to leave also with the same mesmerizing view; you are close to the kitchen and the blender. Sit and watch the sailboats pound there way windward between you and Booby Island. The small Bermuda grass yard/garden oasis welcomes you in. I enjoyed the healthy hike up the neighborhood streets featuring Dr Seuss like 20% grades. Both directions will take you up the comical concrete switchbacks to views that are not to be missed; breakfast--on your deck upon your return is also that much better. We came to kite board and hooked up with Jeff at St Kitts Water Sports who operates out of Reggae Beach 2 min away. We were kiting at 10am 2 min walk down to our seemingly private beach. Snorkeling Turtle reef we found 50 baby lobster, eagle ray, turtles, and a plethora of tangs. It blew 20 knots the whole time which we loved and the trip to Nevis to mountain bike ride and jeep tour is a blast. Spice Mill Restaurant serves impeccable Wahoo and Mahi--ask for Nestle Nesbit she is outstanding. Wonderfully well designed house in a terrific location--If you are a kite boarder, waterman, or just love what the planet offers, rent this house from Nick and Cathy today."
