  • We will be back!

"One word sums up our two week vacation staying at the Ocean Song Cottage on St. Kitts...perfect! Absolutely perfect. The cottage, the island, the location...all a dream come true. Thank you Penny and Ricky for the hospitality and sharing your slice of heaven with us. The only negative thing we can say about our vacation is two weeks wasn't long enough! Can't wait to come back."

  • Relaxing place, awesome view, good location

"2 weeks in St. Kitts of total relaxation and an awesome time. The suite (there are 2, hint: take Buena Vista), offers an awesome view of Frigate Bay and Nevis Peak. You can hear the splash of waves from the shore below, which makes it very relaxing. The suite is a fairly large studio, akin to a motel kitchenette suite. It more than suited our needs for the duration of our stay. What we truly loved from this studio was, that it was breezy, just open the patio door, a side window, the access door and it stayed cool (even in 30 degree weather). We even tried to sleep without the AC, but had to give up because of wild roosters in the nearby hills, they start singing at around 3:30AM and do not stop. Despite these roosters, the neighbourhood is quiet. We did not get to meet the owner in person, but he is genuinely interested in ensuring that your stay is an enjoyable one. He can easily be reached (maybe even too easy that the manager often got overlooked) and will provide complete information whenever requested. Also thanks to the manager and Rudy the handyman, they helped making our stay enjoyable. PROS: Roomy, breezy, quiet. Suite is reasonably well furnished. Big (new) fridge with a few goodies upon arrival. Washer and dryer proved useful (are reasonably new too) Reasonably close (on foot) to the South Frigate Bay watering holes CONS: Kitchen tools and utensils could use revamping and are limited. Recommendations for the upcoming traveller: Car is definitely needed (driving on the left of the road is fun!!!) Bring along some resealable plastic bags (ziploc type) of various sizes, well worth it. This suite is good for couples of all ages."

  • fantastic palce

"Sorry about being late with this review. We had three adults in our party and one word comes to mind concerning this property...WOW! I have been to most of the Caribbean islands and this is one of the best. The accommodations at our villa were beyond adequate and had everything that a person would need for fun in the sun. i.e. snorkel gear, boogie board, fishing gear..... The kitchen had everything that you would need to prepare your own meals, that's if your not eating at one of the great beach restaurants. We had such a great time that we are definitely returning!"

  • Wonderful Holiday!

"We are a family of three who generally takes "busy" vacations where we are doing stuff from morning to night. At the Ocean Song Villa, we did nothing but move from the beautifully appointed house to the infinity pool to the beach house. We left once to get some groceries. We ate at the Pavilion (omg, beautiful and delicious), the Reggae Bar and Grill (2 times on the beach for Friday night Lobster Fests; good food and friendly and helpful staff), and the Spice Mill for dinner. Oh, we did go to Nevis and loved the Four Seasons. The view from the house is amazing and the sea breezes make it very comfortable, even when it's very warm. Franklin is the best. He was always around, but never too much. He put some staples in our 'frig before our arrival which was a great help. We love Pepper. He is a great cat who seemingly adapts well to company. Every where we sat on the patio, in the house offered a new view and great comfort. We read and read and read and found the holiday to be very peaceful. By Monday, we were on 'Island Time'. For us, where we stay is a big component in the success of a vacation, and this vacation was at the top of our list! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your beautiful home."

St. Kitts (St. Christopher) Travel Tips

Favorite Time of Year to Visit St. Kitts Vacation Rentals

Like many other Caribbean destinations, the peak travel season runs from December to April. This is due to a number of reasons. Firstly, it is when many travelers from the northern hemisphere look to escape from the cold winter weather at home. Secondly, it is the more temperate season on St. Kitts when the days are typically warm and dry. In general, the island enjoys a year-round tropical climate. Humidity levels increase during the summer months, owing to frequent rainfall. Tropical storms sometimes blow over the island in the late summer months of September and October. August often sees the heaviest rainfall. If you want to avoid the crowds but still get to enjoy good weather, you may consider traveling in the shoulder season. Often there are great travel specials offered on flights and accommodations that you can take advantage of.

Visitors to Caribbean Vacation Rentals on St. Kitts

St. Kitts is a tropical paradise that seems to float on a turquoise blue sea. It is the type of destination where you can completely relax, unwind and simply soak up the natural beauty of this island paradise.
