"We arrived in January from frigid temperatures in the north to the balmy breezes, sunny days and beautiful beaches. Our condo is clean, well equipped and has all the amenities. The combination of fans and wonderful breezes keep the unit cool and comfortable. There is air conditioning but we never used it during our stay. Breakfast on the deck overlooking the pool was always very pleasant and in the evening we'd watch the sunset from the 3rd floor deck. Although we did not use the pool, we could see that it was very well maintained as were the grounds. The people working on the grounds and the manager were all very nice and helpful. The beach is just a short walk from the condo. My husband and I used to walk to the beach at night to watch the waves and enjoy the wind coming off the ocean. The surf is fairly rough at this beach but it's just a short walk to the Carribbean side of the island where you can swim, snorkel and just enjoy beach time. There is much to do or if you want you can just do nothing. Paradise is a place for relaxing and rejuvenating. We certainly did our share of that when there and look forward to returning next year."Guest: Judy Brossmer Date of Stay: January 2014 Review Submitted: March 6, 2014View listing
"Sorry about being late with this review. We had three adults in our party and one word comes to mind concerning this property...WOW! I have been to most of the Caribbean islands and this is one of the best. The accommodations at our villa were beyond adequate and had everything that a person would need for fun in the sun. i.e. snorkel gear, boogie board, fishing gear..... The kitchen had everything that you would need to prepare your own meals, that's if your not eating at one of the great beach restaurants. We had such a great time that we are definitely returning!"Guest: David S. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: September 23, 2014View listing
"One word sums up our two week vacation staying at the Ocean Song Cottage on St. Kitts...perfect! Absolutely perfect. The cottage, the island, the location...all a dream come true. Thank you Penny and Ricky for the hospitality and sharing your slice of heaven with us. The only negative thing we can say about our vacation is two weeks wasn't long enough! Can't wait to come back."Guest: Chris B. Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 11, 2014View listing
"This house was perfect for our family of five including our 13, 17 and 19-year old. I enjoyed having an oasis to retreat to after sight-seeing. I especially enjoyed the walks to spot monkeys. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and each had an en-suite bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed the master's outdoor shower! We often enjoyed the afternoon in the infinity pool watching the sky gradually turn dark. The colors and view were amazing! I wish I was still relaxing in the hammock!"Guest: Gwen Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 2, 2014View listing
St. Kitts (St. Christopher) Travel Tips
Favorite Time of Year to Visit St. Kitts Vacation Rentals
Like many other Caribbean destinations, the peak travel season runs from December to April. This is due to a number of reasons. Firstly, it is when many travelers from the northern hemisphere look to escape from the cold winter weather at home. Secondly, it is the more temperate season on St. Kitts when the days are typically warm and dry. In general, the island enjoys a year-round tropical climate. Humidity levels increase during the summer months, owing to frequent rainfall. Tropical storms sometimes blow over the island in the late summer months of September and October. August often sees the heaviest rainfall. If you want to avoid the crowds but still get to enjoy good weather, you may consider traveling in the shoulder season. Often there are great travel specials offered on flights and accommodations that you can take advantage of.
