Excellent location, spacious accommodations and a personal concierge!
"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. The villa is beautifully decorated and has everything a couple could need. Location is perfect too! A short walking distance from Rodney Bay with a few morning gems. The felly belly smoothie bar and both coffee shops are excellent. There are also a ton of restaurants and 3 grocery shops. Use trip advisor for restaurant selections. Stay in top 10. Spice of India was fantastic. Flavors in gros islet too! Beware: island time is a real thing. Average waiting time 30-45min for food. Sometimes 10-15 to get a drink. But just relax and enjoy the slow pace. As far as things to do, the bay gardens hotel has a shuttle which brings you to bay gardens resort. They have a beach, pool, bar, water sports, music and food options. Make sure to get towels at the hotel beforehand. They also have a concierge that can book day trips and tours. Book early. Reid, the owner was also GREAT. He arranged a private local chef to cook us a special 8 course dinner in the villa, a couples massage at a local spa, the local yoga center schedule and even a helicopter ride back to the airport. **If you can, arrange a helicopter ride to and from airport. Taxi ride is definitely scary and about 1.5-2 hours. I thought it would be nice to see the city and it was; however, there is one lane in and one out. The roads are excessivly curvy up and down the mountains and most everyone we spoke too had the same experience. Drivers are super friendly but the helicopter ride is 10 minutes and worth every penny!! $165per person US. Everyone speaks English and US currency is taken everywhere although it helps to convert to EC."

"What a great get away! The views of the Pitons are stunning. The staff at the Treehouse welcomed us with open arms. The grounds were landscaped with all types of tropical plants. Each day would start with a hike to the top of the mountain with Alvin the grounds keeper. The view are stunning from any point. Then back to the Treehouse for breakfast with Charmaine, the house manager. The breakfast always features fresh local fruit and flowers cut from the grounds. Then I would walk down to the black beach's at Anse Chastanet to snorkel, mnt bike or hang by the sea. The area gives me the tropic's and a feeling i have stepped back in time to a more laid back life. I highly recommend the Treehouse."

"We just returned from Les Chaudieres - and it was everything we hoped for and more. Our goal was to really get to know (with our three children) a new country. And Les Chaudieres was perfect. The staff made us feel at home. All reviews rave about the food/cooking - and they should. Christy, the property manager and chef, is an absolutely amazing cook who will go out of her way to delight your palate. Yes, the groceries are more expensive on the island than in the states - but they are much cheeper and better quality than eating out. This is not a resort - it is a family home - one with a rich tradition and history that you will feel when you arrive. It is "campy" - in the sense that it feels like a good friend's personal retreat / lake house. Not fancy - but comfy. If you are squeamish about an occasional bug, frog, bat or lizard - this may not be your place as it is very open air and nature will visit from time to time. Many reviewers had no problems with the bugs - we were not so lucky as the breeze died down while we were there - so we recommend taking plenty of the strongest bug spray you can find. But they did not take away from the overall experience. Other recommendations: get to know the staff; they are wonderful people and will give you a much deeper appreciation of St. Lucia and Les Chaudieres. Take a boat cruise early on your trip; Christy can arrange this for you and it will give you a great overview of spots to revisit. Do the zip line adventure in Dennery - and take your camera with you. Enjoy as much time as possible in the hammock under the old almond tree drinking a Durham standard or a rum punch. And get to know as many St. Lucians as you can; we enjoyed them all!"

"We spent some time researching accommodation for our two week stay and decided that this house met our every need and looked good value. We were not disappointed, in fact it was even better than the description and photos had led us to believe. It is an extremely comfortable English home in the Caribbean, with everything you could wish for. The view through the lounge windows on to the terrace and across the water of the marina is constantly magical, day or night. The house is kept spotlessly clean and tidy by a wonderful lady called Linda, who also did our washing and ironing. But beyond that she is a gold mine of local knowledge and experience, and she made our stay so extra special.
Victoria arranged everything in advance and greeted us on arrival. She is available to arrange anything extra during one’s stay. Very efficient and helpful. The house is perfectly placed to give peace and security, yet is only a few minutes’ walk from a fabulous beach, lots of good restaurants and superbly stocked supermarkets and other shops in the centre of Rodney Bay. The restaurants we enjoyed in order of preference were:- Jacques, Razmattaz, Spinaker, Buzz and Blue Olive. If you want a served breakfast, the Cockpit next door is open 7-11am and very good.
Linda showed us how to use the local buses which are dramatically cheaper than taxis and very frequent. We had very enjoyable visits to Gros Islet and the Landings, St Lucia Golf Course and the Cap Estate and a water taxi from Reduit Beach to Pigeon Island which has dramatic views if you can manage the 45 min climb to the top.
We would definitely recommend this lovely home to anyone and are already planning our return next spring."
