  • Best Anniversary Ever

"We could not have been happier with the decision to celebrate our 25th anniversary at Cap Pavilion. As other reviewers have noted the location is incredibly beautiful and private. Quite often the hardest decision was where to enjoy our time; the sitting room, the portico, the pool, or the sun deck. After several days it became clear that each had its optimum use; morning tea, sunset, sunrise, mid-day heat, and reading. We arrived on Saint Lucia with an extensive list of restaurants we intended to enjoy. At the end of our stay we had not visited one restaurant. Upon our arrival we were treated first to a gourmet snack and then a dinner prepared by Sandrine. They were fabulous! On day two we decided to sample another day of Sandrine’s cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed the multi-course dinner served in the formal dining room complete with mahogany, linens, china, silver, and candles. The room itself is a very open design void of a fourth wall so you can enjoy the fresh air and the view across the courtyard to the lights of Rodney Bay below. Our definition of the perfect restaurant is built around great food, attentive service, beautiful views, and minimal disruption from neighboring tables. There was no reason to look any further, we had found near perfection in Sandrine and Cap Pavilion. Sandrine agreed to shop, prepare, and surprise us with the menu for the balance of our stay. We could not have been happier for breakfast, lunch, dinner, rum punch, etc. In fact, the relationship eventually morphed into part restaurant, part cooking school. On numerous occasions I found my wife in the kitchen with Sandrine getting lessons on various preparation techniques. The surrounding natural areas were another very pleasant surprise. The photography and hiking opportunities right from the villa were most enjoyable. There is a network of trails (some of which are passable in a jeep) at the bottom of the road that follow the Atlantic coast. With just a three to four mile hike one can enjoy all types of topography; deserted sandy beaches, cactus fields, surf pounded rock structures, and even wild horses. If you follow the trails south along the coast you will come to Case en Bas beach which has a quintessential bamboo beach bar, Marjorie’s….great place to stop for a cold drink. A little further south is Five Dollar Beach (to get a feel for the area, google: The Man Who Won’t Sell Paradise)."

  • Stunningly situated and well appointed property!

"This looked great in the pictures but was in fact even better in real life. Quiet and well situated for either the beach or the shops and restaurants. Wonderful to sit outside on the jetty in the evenings and listen to the tree frogs or on the shaded secluded patio for meals. Linda the maid came in every day, cleaned, washed and generally made the place perfect - always happy to share information on where to go and how to get there. Victoria at Dragonfly couldn't have been more helpful, even providing us with a mobiles to keep in touch with our daughter at another resort. We went on the Endless Summer catamaran trip down to Soufriere and can thoroughly recommend this. Spinnakers Bar on the beach is a great place to watch the sunset while enjoying happy hour. Also liked the Tapas restaurant next to the Steak place opposite Rodney Bay Mall. I would thoroughly recommend 4 Rodney Bay if you want a central but quiet place to stay."

  • Real gem with fantastic views!

"Are you looking to organize a perfect and stress-free wedding in Caribbean? St. Lucia and Villa Bliss are your top choices! We hosted a wedding for 30 people in April and it was truly a dream! Our guests stayed in 2 villas: Bliss and Capri. Kris- Villa Manager was extremely helpful with making all pre-wedding arrangements, gave us lots of helpful tips and advice and made sure we have everything set up before the day of our arrival. We arrived to the island 2 days before the ceremony, finalized all the details and were able to enjoy beautiful beaches in St. Lucia. Our wedding day was simply perfect- started with the wedding ceremony at the Pigeon Beach, followed by sunset sail and wedding reception at Jacque’s restaurant. We could not have dreamt about better way to celebrate our marriage. Villa Bliss is a real gem- the infinity pool and the views are beyond fantastic- both during the day and the night. It is such an amazing setting to unwind. The rooms are spacious and spotless clean. I recommend having a car to go to restaurants or to the beach (it is only a few min drive or 15-20 min walk). We didn’t mind the distance from the beach at all, as the location of the villa on the hill make it a very unique experience. There is no cook on the property, so you have to either buy your own groceries or ask Kris if you don’t want to be bothered with shopping. They will help you with everything, just to make sure your stay is stress-free and relaxing. Our 6 days in St. Lucia and Villa Bliss were like a dream and it could not happen without Kris (Villa Manager) help. We truly recommend St. Lucia and Villa Bliss for friends/family gatherings or wedding destination. Much better and intimate option than any of the hotels!"

  • Amazing stay- Can't wait to come back!

"The unit- wonderful! We came for the week and it was exactly what we needed. The property was the perfect size for us, and as others said, was well equipped. I might suggest bringing an aux cord to hook up you ipod. The bed was luxurious and so comfortable and the jacuzzi on the patio overlooking the marina was utilized at least twice a day. The location of the unit within the complex was also quite nice, on the first floor with the marina view, with a quick 2 minute walk to sandy beaches and restaurants. It was very clean and definitely a great find. The resort- Everyone at The Landings was so friendly, specifically the bellmen, the concierge desk and the front desk staff. Though the resort is a bit far from the airport (90 min taxi), it was also the best of the others we researched and also came across while on our trip. The amenities were plentiful, the beach was close and private to the resort, with very soft sand. The resort also provides a US $10 round trip shuttle to Rodney Bay to grab groceries or go shopping, get lunch, etc. We enjoyed the Callaloo restaurant on the beach and the Palms for fine dining, but didn't have as good of experience at The Beach Club (which also provides the room service). Even though it was busy season during our stay, we never had a problem tracking down a beach chair. We booked the couples massage at the resort spa, which was also quite nice. We found that we did not need to rent a car, between the shuttles and the easy access to taxis, we were set. The island- This was our first time to Saint Lucia and we loved every minute of it. We tried the Carnival catamaran tour to Soufriere for snorkeling, botanical gardens, Diamond Waterfall, and the volcano. The zipline tour was so much fun in the rainforest, and we also booked the sunset cruise through the concierge. We also made the quick walk over to Pigeon Island and hiked up to Fort Rodney for some incredible views. Thank you Karen and Dan! What a fantastic vacation to remember forever!"
