  • Exceeded our expectations! Perfect March Getaway.

"We had an absolutely fabulous time at Villa Cybelle! The beautiful, airy, clean house is extremely spacious with generous bedrooms and baths. We spent most of our time at the house on the veranda, whether having breakfast, drinks or relaxing after dinner, while enjoying the beautiful views of the sea. We enjoyed the afternoons at our refreshing pool, basking in the sun on our lounge chairs with luxurious towels that were provided for the pool area. Joan Paul, the lovely house manager was professional and meticulous. She greeted us when we arrived and gave us a quick tour of the house. Prior to our trip, she sent us a shopping list for us to complete so that food and drinks would be stocked upon our arrival. Also, we corresponded via email regarding some activities we were interested in doing and restaurants where we wanted to dine, and she arranged everything while offering her suggestions as well. Joan also arranged for our drivers, from picking us up at the airport to transporting us through the island for meals and sightseeing. She also charted a boat for us that took us down the west coast, to Marigot Bay and to Mango Tree restaurant, where we had a delicious lunch with magnificent views of the Pitons. Our drivers, Pierre, Marc and David were all friendly and knowledgable about St Lucia. We had a wonderful time with them. We were reluctant to rent a house, thinking that we 'd have to pack additional items, but almost every item was provided, from towels, to iPod dock, bottle openers etc. The only items we needed to bring were soap, shampoo and conditioner. Andrea, the housekeeper was there twice during our stay to change linens, wash towels and clean the house. We highly recommend Coal Pot Restaurant and Pink Plantation House. Both restaurants serve delicious meals and have beautiful pottery for sale by the charming, artistic owner, Michelle. Finally, the people of St Lucia are warm and welcoming people. We look forward to returning to St. Lucia and staying at Villa Cybelle."

  • Wish I lived here!!!

"We stayed here for our 2nd anniversary and had an amazing vacation. The views from the villa are way more inspiring than the pictures show. Eating breakfast while gazing into the horizon was completely relaxing. The postitioning of the villa was great for tanning by the pool, looking at the stars, and getting a great breeze to keep you cool. I didn't even think about watching TV during our stay. The location of the villa is fairly private, so you have to drive everywhere if you want to get to anything. We expected that, so it turned out perfectly. The property manager was extremely helpful and shared lots of great tips!!! The only downside was while in the pool, the bushes blocked a good part of the gorgeous view. I would guess they are placed there to help with erosion. The alarm system definitely made us feel safe, but I think we set it off every way possible...sorry about that :/ Thank you again for letting us use your wonderful home, and I'll be sure to recommend it to others."

  • A St. Lucia Jewel in the north

"I am a constant visitor to St. Lucia due to work so I have stayed at several places. This apartment is a jewel. It is a well maintained, clean, one-bedroom apartment close to Gros Islet / Rodney Bay (you will need a vehicle). The view is nice (you can see the Atlantic) but the sea breezes you will get are priceless. The plunge pool (not large) is perfect for periodically cooling off and sitting at the pool area is a wonderful place to enjoy the evening. If you are a less experienced traveler you might be thrown off by it's secluded location or the condition of the road - don't be. It's located in a typical residential neighborhood and most roads in St. Lucia are in need of improvement. It was a very pleasant place to stay and would easily stay again."

  • Can't get over that view!

"It's hard for me to decide what my favorite part of the trip was, but I must say that the view from the Fortress is something that may stay with me forever. From watching the sun's first rays wake up the island, waves crashing against the cliffs to the left, sailboats pulling in for the day to the right, and people para-sailing straight ahead, to a sunset that perfectly matches the description you read in romance novels... all with just a most amazing and deliciously cool ocean breeze. The owners were helpful, very friendly, and always gave me enough privacy. The villa was clean, everything worked like it should, and having a vehicle made things even more convenient. It was the pleasant and peaceful break I needed, and will definitely be booking a trip for next winter."
