  • The perfect island villa getaway

"Too many good things to say about the "castle on the sea". From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave the view from the veranda is captivating. The view from the rooftop is even better and is amazing for star gazing on a clear Carribean night. Each bedroom is spacious and the private bathrooms attached to each really give everyone their own beautiful private space. The kitchen is large and great for trying your hand at some Carribean cooking with the fresh ingredients readily available at the Vieux Fort market nearby. The pool is an excellent place to pull up a lounger with a rum punch or soak in the soft, perfectly warmed salt water (nicest pool water I've ever soaked in). If the ocean is more your cup of tea; Sandy Beach is right down the road and is great for swimming, kite boarding or windsurfing. I can't say enough about what an amazing time our family had staying in this paradise. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back again!"

  • WOW!

"We rented this property on the recommendation of friends and had researched it and others before booking. The photos of Admiral View on the website are great; but, to experience this place in person is even better! Jessica greeted us upon our arrival, and both Jessica and Pinkley stopped by on the second day to be sure we were settled and everything was okay. They are truly gracious people who wanted to be sure all our expectations were met. Not only were our expectations met, they were exceeded!! The property and villa are beautiful, classy, comfortable, spacious and clean. The view from the balconies is spectacular and the grounds are lovely! The amenities made us feel like we were at home; this was very important to us as we did not want to be in a resort with hundreds of other tourists. It was great to have the pool for the days when we didn't feel like going to the beach and we enjoyed sitting poolside at night to have a nightcap. We appreciated that Admiral View is in a quiet, residential area; yet, you are only about a 5-minute drive to Rodney Bay for shopping, restaurants, nightlife and beaches. Jessica and Pinkley are wonderful people who obviously take pride in their villas and they make sure you have a truly great vacation experience. We are so glad that we chose Admiral Villa and have already indicated that we will be returning next year. This is a rare find and a true gem!!"

  • Hermitage Cottage Lovely, Peaceful with Spectacular View of Pitons!

"My wife and I spent one week at Hermitage Cottage as a get-away vacation and were not disappointed in the least! We are an older couple that enjoy both the adventure of the outdoors and peace and tranquilty of nature. Hermitage Cottage is located in a beautiful setting with magnificent views as well as being located on the less-touristy side of the island. The property is well decorated, comfortable and stocked with the necessary ammenities for short or long-term visits including internet and phone service, cable television, towels, linen and even snorkeling equipment! Magdelene, Ferrard and Ray (houskeeping, grounds and gardner) are extremely pleasant, helpful and respectful of visitor privacy. They are a wealth of information about the island and locals and went out of their way to assist us during our stay. Hermitage Cottage is a "little piece of heaven" and is close to Soufriere for grocery shopping, Anse Chastenet and Anse de Pitons for snorkeling and located above the cocoa plantation at Hotel Chocolat as well as nature trails of Tet Paul and Gros and Petit Pitons. Restaurants at Ladera and Sugar Beach are down the road along with the Harmony Restaurant at Malgritoute beach. We will defintely return to Hermitage Cottage in the future and highly recommend this property to others wishing to enjoy St. Lucia and not be confined to the typical tourist hotel experience!"

  • Amazing Views!

"Our first impression of the villa as we walked through the front door was "WOW-Look at the view"!!!! The views through the large kitchen windows, dining area french doors and sitting area french doors was spectacular. The whole living area could be opened up to the trade winds making the villa very comfortable during the day. We loved the spaciousness and openness. The villa front terrace was huge and faces the Atlantic Ocean and always had a pleasant breeze. There was also a patio in the pool area that afforded shade throughout the day. Upstairs master bedroom suite also had a balcony that was covered with views of the Caribbean and Atlantic Oceans. Master bedroom was huge with a walk in closet (that had the only safe in the house) and bathroom had a walk-in shower. The two bedrooms downstairs were good size and had their own outside patio that paled in comparison to the upstairs outside areas. If you like hard beds you will love the beds. The kitchen was well stocked with everything Sherma needed to cook her fantastic meals. She has a sheet of suggested meals and items she can prepare. She was a joy to be around and went above and beyond to accommodate us during our stay. Brian the handyman kept the pools and outside areas clean and was very friendly too. He also went out of his way to be truly helpful to us. FYI-House has a alarm system that does not allow you much time to get from the first gate door thru the front door to the alarm pad before going off! Pretty much have to run from door to door to pad to deactivate. Margarete from Tropical Villas came to visit us on our 1st morning with lots of helpful information about the villa, the area, the island and excursions available. She lined up a taxi for us to go to the "Jump Up" on Friday evenings in Gros Islet. Don't miss it! She also booked a catamaran excursion for us. We rented a car for the week. The road system leaves a lot to be desired as they are still trying to recuperate from Hurricane Thomas 3 years ago. Any road other than the main road was bumpy and had pot holes and sometimes not even paved. We did not feel comfortable driving at night. Food that is not native to the island is very expensive. Don't forget to pick up your Super J Loyalty Card. It will save you some money. Piton Beer and Bounty Rum (made on the island) are very good! Pigeon Island Reserve & Beach, Rodney Bay Beach and Cas-en-bas Beach were all close to the villa."
