"This is a top notch villa and a great location. Marigot Bay is much sleepier than Rodney Bay area, with a lot of great bars and restaurants tucked into the hillside around the bay, which are easy to get to. If you are not a fan of the isolation of all inclusive, and really want to get a bit of diversity of experiences, this is a great choice.
Large, very will kept villa, good kitchen, nice little slice of the bay view from the main balcony, and our own plunge pool, made this an outstanding choice!
The hotel recently renovated the pools and the restaurant areas, so everything is top notch and the staff was so warm and friendly,

"From the moment we arrived to receive the warmest and most genuine welcome from Danny and Ann, until our regret-filled departure one week later, my wife and I simply loved every minute of our time at Marigot Palms.
The property is impeccably cared for and is in absolutely perfect condition from top to bottom, inside and out. The view of magical Marigot Bay (where the Dr. Doolittle movie was filmed in 1967) filled us with wonder each and every morning - and afternoon and evening. We explored the island of St. Lucia quite thoroughly (we rented a car, but Danny is a skilled and generous tour guide, as well), and our assessment is that Marigot Bay must surely be among the most beautiful spots on this beautiful island. St. Lucia is an incredibly friendly, safe, and interesting island to visit.
Danny and Ann's hospitality simply must be experienced first-hand to be truly understood. They are the perfect hosts, who inevitably feel like new friends from the start. When my wife got sick and needed emergency medical care, Danny jumped on the phone and got us to the best emergency facility on the island (about a 25 minute drive) - by the way, the ER care equalled any experience we've had in the U.S., and all was well in the end.
Marigot Palms has great access to all that Marigot Bay has to offer, including multiple restaurants, and a beach with facilities for renting paddle boards, kayaks, sunfishes, etc.
This is a delightfully different vacation experience from the all-inclusive properties throughout the Caribbean. Marigot Palms is exclusive without being prohibitively expensive - it's one of the best deals going in the islands, and if there were more than 5 stars, I would certainly assign the highest rating possible for every single attribute and characteristic of this wonderful slice of heaven."

"Brigand Hill is a wonderful place to stay on this spectacular island. Centrally located on the west coast, the villa provides easy access to a variety of activities all over the island for half or full day trips. It's simple beauty & structure, & impeccably maintained grounds reflect the island itself. It's just enough without being too much. For those who really want to feel immersed in the St. Lucian terrain/climate, it's the perfect place to make your home base. Sitting on a hill above the Anse Galet valley, the villa has surreal views of the rugged topography while providing a glimpse of the Caribbean Sea to its west. The bedroom upstairs in the main building has screened shutters, allowing the constant tradewinds to create a cool & airy environment while you sleep at night or nap during the day. When there's a rainstorm, you can hear it approaching as it comes down the valley & descends upon the house. If you're lucky enough to be sleeping when this happens, this room couldn't be a better place to be. At night, you'll hear the sounds of the rainforest take over, & it's like falling asleep on a perfect summer night. Add a bag of ice to the grocery list so you don't run out using the blender :)
George, the caretaker, is extremely knowledgeable on anything/everything St. Lucia-related. Happy to answer all your questions to guide you in the right direction when making plans, he'll even accompany you on an excursion! He came with us on our Gros Piton hike & barely even broke a sweat! A jack of all trades, he's eager to share his passion for the island. Vera is a love & happily and graciously keeps the house in order during your stay so you don't have to. I'm pretty particular about other people doing my laundry, but she took scrupulous care of my clothes. She even had flowers on the bedspread upstairs upon our arrival - so romantic. Bertilla is a super sweet, talented cook & prepared some really great meals for us. She'll make you anything but I suggest you request some local dishes like christophene casserole, chicken curry, rice & beans, or pumpkin soup - all delish! She set a lovely table every night outside by the pool, specially folded napkins included. This crew left no detail unnoticed and their hard work revealed itself in my experience at the villa. They added elements of ease and welcoming grace to the trip which made the island as a whole even more special. I can't wait to go back to St. Lucia, and I'll definitely be staying at Brigand Hill."

Their name is spot-on accurate: a natural paradise
"The cottage is on a hilltop, overlooking the Bay and the Caribbean Sea, surrounded by a botanical garden's worth of tropical plants. A little bird that lives in a tree by the cottage literally ate crumbs out of my hand.
We had our own mini kitchen.
Internet was available upstairs, but didn't reach the cabin (which is a GOOD thing!!)
The pool was a few seconds away.
There were a couple other guests part of the time, but a lot of the time we basically had the place to ourselves.
The owners/hosts David and Wanda were super friendly, and found just the right balance of interaction - telling stories of St Lucia history and culture as well as of their own lives - and leaving us privacy.
Just getting to the place each day was part of the fun, driving the 4WD up the unpaved 1 lane road.
The place was clean and open and comfortable, with fancy furniture and nifty little touches like a shower enclosure made of glass block and giant fan blades reminiscent of fronds.
There isn't much way anything could have been improved upon without compromising something else.
I would def. go back if I ever end up in St Lucia again"
