  • BEST VACATION EVER!!!!!!

"Oh my goodness. I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had at Beau Rivage this past week. We had the best family vacation ever. It was 11 of us and the ages ranged from 14-61. The majority of us are ages 30-40 and are very active. Everyone had a great time. The villa is beautiful and is located in a great spot. There were two beaches that we visited daily each was a short walk away. One beach was great for watersports and the other for snorkeling. The water was crystal clear and the beaches were not crowded at all. We played group volleyball, waterskied, went water tubing, sailing, and snorkeling. There were a couple of days when we just went out into the backyard, fired up the grill and had pool parties. The villa was perfect. The staff seasoned the food for the backyard cookouts. We utilized the outdoor surround speaker system for musical entertainment while we swam and hung out in the hot tub. The staff cooked breakfast and lunch for us everyday and the food was excellent! Fedora and Odessa were great. They were so helpful and our group just fell in love with them. Fedora made sure she brought us a couple of Mangos when she found out it was my husband's favorite fruit. George drove us everywhere we wanted to go and Kris Wagner arranged the tours for us. She was the "make it happen" lady. Our family is accustomed to staying in all-inclusive resorts for our family vacations, but this time we wanted to try something a little different. I can tell you that this vacation was far better than all the others. There was something for everyone to do at all times. We visited the Volcano, took a mud bath, hung out under the waterfall, took a day sail trip, visited a cocoa plantation, got massages, snorkeled, and just truly enjoyed each other's company. The only regret we each had was not booking the home a few days more. The owner thought of everything. Anything you could need, is already in place. If you are looking for a great time and just want to enjoy each other I highly recommend Beau Rivage. I planned this family vacation and I feel sorry for the next person who has to plan the family vacation because this vacation set the bar pretty high. Sue ( the owner) was extremely helpful. She made sure I had all the contacts and places to go before we even made it to St. Lucia. During the week she called in to check on us and to see if there was anything we needed. Everything was first class. I can't say enough about the place."

  • A perfect sanctuary- what a wonderful villa.

"From the moment we arrived at Cap Pavilion, we knew we had reached somewhere truly special. We were greeted warmly at the airport by Cecil and driven in the 4x4 across the island to this amazing private sanctuary: perched on the top of a hill- we soon realised that the views from this villa would be some of the most beautiful of the island we would see during our whole trip. The villa is really quite wonderful. It mixes old fashioned charm with 21st century luxury. The bathrooms and bedrooms were furnished to an exceptionally high standard, and were kept spotlessly clean each day. It is clear that we were in a property that was beautifully considered, nurtured and loved. There were so many parts of the villa to discover, and endless peaceful spots to watch the sunset. The main living room is a fantastic room: we spent hours whiling away time reading books, playing board games and listening to sounds of the tropical wildlife outside. The gorgeous swimming pool was perfectly sheltered for the toddler in our group, and was another incredibly quiet and comfortable area to relax in. One of the most lovely aspects of our stay at Cap Pavilion was being treated to Sandrine's fantastic cooking. She did all of our food shopping for us, and we really felt like we were being spoilt! Breakfast was an amazing selection of local fresh tropical fruits, breads, and any hot food we requested. Each evening we had a delicious 3-course meal, Caribbean-style with a quirky twist- all made from local produce, and freshly cooked. There was something different every night and we were always left feeling heartily full after every meal! It really was such a luxury. The house staff were completely unobtrusive, and yet always so forthcoming if we needed anything: from food requests, to some amazing tips on where to visit on the island- they catered to all our needs discreetly and without fuss. There was nothing better than returning from a day of exploring to be greeted by a cup of tea, a slice of Sandrine's home baking, and a well earned dip in the pool. As seasoned explorers, we rarely visit the same place twice- but this is a place we we have already promised ourselves that we will return to. We would unreservedly recommend Cap Pavilion to couples, groups and families alike. This is truly an incredible and unique place."

  • Honeymoon Paradise

"My wife and I had the most beautiful honeymoon in St. Lucia. We decided to rent a villa over doing the all-inclusive route because it would force us to explore more of the island. This was definitely the way to go, we got to mix it up with the locals, experience their culture, cuisine, and just their way of life. Albatross Nest offers the best of both worlds. If you want to spend time alone with your significant other and feel like you have the entire island to yourself then Albatross Nest is your place. If you want to be close to Rodney Bay and everything that city life offers, then Albatross Nest is your place. We spent almost every afternoon lounging around the pool drinking Pitons and just starring at the beautiful ocean. Waking up and cooking breakfast in the open air living room will be something we will always remember. Michael the gardener and Odessa the maid are both very personably and pleasant people. We both enjoyed talking with them and hearing their stories. Odessa even taught us how to play dominos one rainy day. Most of the time when looking at pictures about villas and or places to rent, the pictures usually paint a much nice picture. This is NOT the case with Albatross Nest. The villa and views are both exactly as they are portrayed in the pictures. If you thinking about St. Lucia, Albatross Nest will defiantly not disappoint."

  • Rustic Beauty

"Les Chaudieres is a rustic estate perched on a phenomenally beautiful cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The view of sunsets and rainbows is almost too good to be real. The house is airy and comfortable, but you can't be squeamish about bats, reptiles, and insects, as all are plentiful. The housekeeping staff is extremely friendly, and the food that they prepare would earn a high Zagat rating in any big city in the US. The pool is great, but may not be best for young kids (shallow end is 4 feet deep, no fence). And the 250+ steps down the cliff to the beach are suitable only for fit teens or adults. If you really want to get "away from it all", this is the place for you. No TV, no nightlife (other than gorgeous stars). If you have toddlers, elderly companions, or want the resort lifestyle, you may want to find another spot."
